DOM For Hire #1

Un-Kidnap Me

There are three hard and fast rules we live by:
1. D.O.M. does not exist.
2. No attachments of any kind.
3. No screwing the clients.

We are whispers in the air, sometimes felt, but never seen.
Hired by billionaires to fix their dirty problems.
Operating underground, undetected.
We are hard to hire and even harder to find.

I should have never taken this job.
$10 mil in my pocket for her safe return.
Kidnapped by a very dangerous man.
But that is not my problem in this scenario.

This little mouthy rich girl is going to be the death of me.
And I might just have to punish her for it — Scott style.
I know she wants it. She's begging for it.
The question is: Can I resist her?

Or will I break one of the cardinal rules?

The DOM for Hire Series features irresistible alphas with James Bond vibes. They are bossy in bed heroes you can't get enough of. Un-Kidnap Me is a brand new full length novel by USA Today Bestselling author Hazel Parker. It can be read as a standalone but pairs well with the next two. HEA as always and recommended for adult readers.

The couple: Scott and Kaylie

Romance genre: Romantic suspense
Part of a series: Yes (DOM for Hire)
Length: 171 pages

Plot: Kaylie is the daughter of a rich reality TV mom, and is followed on all the social media by lots of people. Then she's kidnapped, and Scott's super-secret organization DOM is contacted to rescue her. He moves in to find her, and does so quickly, but is very attracted to her. Making a move on her would violate DOM's third rule, though, which he is definitely not going to do. Until a little while later. They are discovered by the kidnappers and have a series of moves they have to make until he can finally get Kaylie home. By that time, they're both halfway in love with each other, but he has to leave her with her mom. Or does he?

Character development: Scott is an a$$hole and Kaylie spoiled. That about sums it up. I mean, I get the feeling that they're both okay people deep down, but it's a thick layer of not okay on top. For example, this is how Scott thinks of Kaylie for most of the book (I know the quote says "right now," but he thinks of her this for most of the time):
I sighed. In a lighter time, I might have enjoyed bantering with this bitch. Right now, I just found her fucking annoying.

I mean, he thinks of her bangin' body with affection, but it takes a long time for him to think of her in any way other than annoying. And she can't seem to get it in her headthat they're not on vacation, and that she might want to follow his directions in a life and death situation.

Next book in the series: Undo Me (Secret Baby Second Chance Romance)

This book had a slightly different feel to Hazel's normal work but I still enjoyed it thoroughly A little slow to get going but then it took off at a break neck speed

Kaylie has been kidnapped and held for ransom and now the kidnappers have gone silent so her mother contacts Scott he is the head of DOM Security and he has been tasked with getting Kaylie back He achieves this but in the process a connection forms between them He doesn't want her knowing who he is so he keeps her blind folded at all times Soon he realises that he isn't going to be able to leave her so decides he needs to retire from doing the actual cases himself so he can be with Kylie Looking forward to more stories in this series

The premise of this book really intrigued me. Scott was an alpha male, who was gruff and detached. I understood that he needed to be that way most times due to his occupation. Haley was hard to like initially. Between her and her mother, I got the vibes of a famous family whose names all start with the letter “k.” Her mother was completely off putting.
While the beginning of the book had action, I didn’t feel much of a connection between Kaylie and Scott. And then the last quarter of the book totally blew away the first 3/4’s. I finally felt a bit of the spark between them, and the action and suspense really ramped up. I could tear my eyes away after that. I’d love to learn more about Liam!

Interesting concept for this storyline. Small recue company with three people only, very secretive. Only a few rules to follow to be a successful company. Scott, the leader, only has three rules, and he follows them all the time. For some reason Kaylie is testing his willpower, "Rule three. Rule three. Rule xxx three." Sometimes I wanted to smack Kaylie, and you can believe what is written by the emotions I was feeling when I was reading it. Suspense for sure, hot when required, and endearing when you see a certain breakdown. Made me smile at the very end.

I voluntarily read this book.

Scott doesn't exist, his company doesn't exist, and he only comes into the light when he is called in on a rescue mission and paid handsomely for his services!! So when a young socialite is kidnapped, he is called in to rescue her!! Should be another easy job, but he is up against Snake and his own desires!! Can he keep his rules straight and save her too? Will this be the end of DOM?

Kaylie is in the limelight because her mom wanted to do reality tv show. So they are in the spotlight and have more than enough money for anything they want. So while vacationing, Kaylie gets taken and is in real fear for her life. Will she be saved? Will she ever see her mom and friends again? But what do you do when you fall for your rescuer who is not someone you should fall for head? Can her heart survive their encounter? Will there be more for them?

This story is intense, filled with drama, love, lust, romance, betrayal, loyalty and so much more. I really enjoyed this book. I received an ARC of this book from the author.

Absolutely enjoy this read the author draws you in with this one loving Scott he is such an Alpha male and that's why he is so appealing. He is hired and paid a hefty sum to find Kaylie after she's been Kidnapped on vacation.

Dom is Scotts business name he uses to stay under the radar so very few people know who he is or what he does. This book drew me in because i loved the main character they were so opposites that attract and Kaylie's kidnapping brought them together. This is a dark read with some steamy parts.

The author gives you love, hate and lots of lust and lots more i would recommend this one. Plan to continue to follow this author for future reads.

4.5 Stars!! Kaylie gets kidnapped while on vacation. Scott who is the owner of D.O.M. is asked to get her back. There is an instant attraction when he finds her even with the blindfold she is forced to wear so she can't see his face. He is a controlling alpha and she can't seem to keep her mouth shut. Lots of action to get home. Once home, will they end up together? Will he surprise her with his decisions? Good read. Enjoy!!

Un-Kidnap Me. This book was interesting and different. I enjoyed this book! The characters were unorthodox. I loved the storyline of Scott having to rescue Kaylie. I was caught up with the race against time to get her back. The turn the book took with their relationship was unexpected. The story was exciting and romantic, but left me wanting more.  "I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book."

Kaylee’s character intrigued me and her encounters with Scott who brought on her self realisation of the type of man she needed to fulfil her. While Scott is definitely an alpha male he recognised Kaylee as the type of woman who would challenge him.
Not to sure how Scott was able to keep Kaylee hidden from Snake, it was like a game that Scott and Snake had played over and over again.

The plot was a little repetitive but still enjoyable

Scott is the head of DOM, a private company that really doesn’t exist but they can do the impossible if you have enough money. He takes a job to rescue Kaylie and sparks fly. Can they make it back safely and will he be able to let her go if they do? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, action, suspense and steam. Great characters and a thrill ride of a story. I really liked it.

Kaylie is an attention seeking princess thanks to her moms reality show Scott owns a recovery firm who is contacted by her mother once she's kidnapped for ransom.

I would recommend this book for mature readers (sexual content) that enjoy reading stories that are at times laugh out loud funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic.

Routine

Scott is on another routine mission to rescue a kidnapped girl when he discovers this girl is unlike all the others he has rescued before. What was supposed to be routine is anything but and Kaylie is testing his very lines and rules. Can he last without making her his forever? He's sure going to try.

Kaylie, a reality star is missing. Scott and his small security company finds her. She is trying Scott's patience which she plowed right through, to her detriment. Scott takes her in hand and in the midst of all the craziness, they find love. This is a riveting story line I loved. I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.

When a kidnapping turns into something more

A fun filled trip turns into something so crazy. To wake up and not know where you are or how long you have been out. Will she be rescued does anybody even know she is gone. The rescuer is definitely tough and does things his way. The adventure between the two is explosive.

DOM Scott and Kaylie

This was good and interesting read, albeit short I felt. Bec I liked Scott and Kaylie and the storyline which had enough fuss-n-muss with Kaylie's kidnapping and Scott's rescue mission and some antagonism with Snake, I gave this book my 4 cups of java because I can't do 3.5 cups, ☕☕☕☕. I have the feeling the next book will be more intense and better read.

Un-Kidnap Me

It was a good read. I liked the emotion both characters displayed. Plot was easy to follow and I like a book with dialogue. The ending was too quick for me, and now I have to wait for the other books in the series..

Good!

Quite an adventure! TV media star kidnapped and held for ransom. Private, very private, agency hired to rescue her is the start of nonstop action! This is a modern day wild west shootout with both sides using an arsenal of high powered weapons! Different type of romance!

When Kaylie was kidnapped whilst vacationing with friends her mother, as a last resort, asked Scott, the owner of DOM, to find her and bring her safely home. When he found her he was instantly attracted to her. During the time they spend together as he attempts to get her to safety a mutual attraction forms between them. Scott's feelings for her were so strong that he decided to retire so they could be together.

The plotline is full of action and drama as well as some steamy scenes.
