In this book aimed at 7-10-year-olds, we follow the various adventures of Rose when she goes to visit her grandparents for the summer holidays. In it she will gain a new friend, learn lots of new things, and have a few adventures in her journey to become a little more independent.

I enjoyed this story that painted a vivid picture of the places and events that Rose encountered in her many adventures. Well written and easy to understand I thought it was pitched at the right level for children of that age to enjoy.
