After No Exit, I'll read pretty much anything Taylor Adams writes, and Hairpin Bridge doesn't disappoint. Taylor has a knack for dark characters and grim settings, and just like in his prior work, there were multiple chapters that had me holding my breath. The story within a story angle was pretty brilliant, too, as was the resolution. If you love high-octane thrillers with unexpected twists, you'll definitely love this one.

Omg this book! First No Exit gave me a phobia of rest stops now this one is with bridges!! Lena Nguyen lost her twin sister, Cambry, to suicide. But Lena knows her best and feels there is more to her death so she drives out to Montana and meets with State Trooper Ray Raycevic. Records show that Ray had pulled Cambry over for speeding one hour before her death. Ray appears to be sympathetic and forth coming to Lena’s questions, but very quickly things change, Ray’s story doesn’t add up & Lena cam

Thanks to the publisher and edelweiss for an early copy!
I’ve been waiting for quite some time for a new Taylor Adams book, and I hadn’t even heard about this one until I saw it up for request. Imagine my joy :’) So naturally I had to move it directly up the line and immediately devour it.
Lena’s twin sister Cambry recently died, suicide by jumping off a bridge, if the authorities are to be believed. Lena’s looks at the phone records, along with her last text from her sister, don’t quite align wi ...more

HUGE thanks to William Morrow and Netgalley for this eARC!
Just like in Adams' previous book, No Exit, I was stressed out before I even got to 25% of the book in the best way. I don't know how so many random fears of mine can be put into one book but here we are. I thought this was extremely fast paced and definitely kept me engaged until the end (I finished this in less than 24 hours). I loved that the lead was a strong, smart, and quick AF female protagonist. However I felt really confused thro ...more

Taylor Adams delivers with another fast-paced thriller with a bold heroine! Lena’s twin sister Cambry has supposedly committed suicide and everyone seems to accept this except for Lena. She knows something isn’t right and stops at literally nothing to confront, who she suspects, is her sisters’ murderer.
Lena is smart, motivated, and maybe even has some sort of a death wish trying to piece together Cambry’s final hours.
This book took off from the first page and never stopped. Full of twists, tur ...more

Thank you Edelweiss for providing a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was one of the most exciting and original thrillers I have ever read. The action is nonstop, the narrator is so extremely unreliable and it makes the story so twisted and complex, it added something new to the unreliable narrator trope. Everything from the characters to the villains, the twists and the climax were masterfully written and plotted. Add this book to your TBRs and read it as soon as it comes out!

Hairpin Bridge is an adrenaline rush from the first page to the very last. Lena goes to search out the truth after her twin sister Cambry supposedly jumped to her death off Hairpin Bridge. Her only hint was the name of Officer Raycevic. Lena goes to interview the Officer, to find the truth but things aren’t adding up. Will a search for the truth end up in a fight to the death?
