I just got this book from Netgalley, though the release date isn’t until September. I will probably read it this weekend though. I loved the last few books in this series. And this one sounds interesting! *RTC

What a way to start a book! I've only read a handful of the books in this series, but I find I like them more and more with each one. The best thing is you can read these as standalone.

To me, this one was an exciting read because it immediately starts off with a plane crash and the race through woods to get the human to safety before the injured vampires kill him. It was literally like horror movie start. I loved it!

I wasn't sure how the rest of the book could hold up to that beginning exciteme

Jet Lassiter is a pilot for Argeneau Inc. When the plane unexpectedly goes down, he finds himself stranded in the woods with multiple injured vampires who are desperate for blood. Only Quinn, the woman he has been lusting after for four years, can help him get safely away.

We originally meet Quinn Peters in The Trouble With Vampires when her sister Patronella found her lifemate. Quinn is quite different from her sister. She hated that she was turned and her life was taken awa

Mile High with a Vampire is the thirty-third book in the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands. Bringing readers further into her immortal world, Sands is hitting a new stride within the series, simultaneously weaving past plots with new characters and new enemies.

In Mile High with a Vampire, Quinn has been an immortal for four years, but has spent every minute of that time withdrawn and refusing to accept who, and what, she has become. But just when she finally decides to seek help, the plane she's

While I haven't read all 33 books in the Argeneau series, every time I do read one I wonder why I haven't read them all. These books just satisfy on all levels. You have to go into it accepting (to some degree) of a fated mates. You also have to accept vampires - but vampires are sometimes easier to mentally go with more than fated mates.

Quinn was turned into a vampire against her will as a casualty of her husband being turned by a rogue vampire. Since that time Quinn has been struggling to come

Review: This is the 33rd book in the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands. While there are several overlapping characters in her book, it could be read as an introduction to the series without losing too much of the backstory of Quinn, which we saw in the 29th book.

Quinn Peters, a renowned heart surgeon, was turned against her will 4 years ago by her husband. She’s spent the past four years in hiding, unwilling to accept who she’s become, despite the support of her twin sister Pet and her son. She’s

Another enjoyable book by Lynsay Sands. When the plane Jet is co-piloting crashes, Quinn must save him before the other immortals on the plane that were injured attack Jet in their bloodlust.

Quinn was turned against her will 4 years ago and hadn't really explored many of her immortal abilities. What I liked about this book is that we see Quinn grow and learn to accept herself as an immortal. In her attempts to save Jet from the other immortals after the plane crash, she learns about her extra s

This book was very much “ask and you shall receive” for me. I wanted more conflict and a new villain, and I got them both. Although there was instalove which annoys me, there was conflict both from within and an outside force. I really liked that Quinn wasn’t thrilled to become and immortal and even as years passed she still struggled with it. Even though her sister and child are immortal, so she wouldn’t lose her close family, she still struggled with being a Vampire. I wish we got more time de ...more

Jet was flying five vampires, when something happens and they do a crash landing. Jet was in the military and when he got out, he became a pilot for Argeneau. The other pilot is killed and Jet becomes hunted for his blood. Quinn was a heart surgeon but her husband turned her and her son in immortals. It happened four years ago and Quinn still hasn’t accepted it yet. She is flying to Canada to get help. She’s not injured in the crash and has to get Jet to safety before the others come after them. ...more

Yes, this is book 33 of this series. Even though I have not read all of the books in this series, I have read a lot of them. And honestly, as long as Lynsay Sands keeps them coming I will probably stay with the series. With each book she manages to not only bring in new characters but also keep tabs with old favorites while still weaving in new and different plots for each new couple. In this latest entry, we have Quinn who is definitely one of the most reluctant vampires we have yet met. She ob ...more

Lynsay Sands delivers another hit in the thirty-third installment in the Argeneau Series. Quinn Peters has been an immortal for four years and still hasn’t adjusted. Jet Lassiter, a mortal pilot for Argeneau, Inc, has been crushing on her all that time. While they are running from their lives, they realize that they are life mates.

As with other books in the series, previous characters come back to help the new couple solve their dilemma and wake them up after fainting. That part always tickles

Let me start by saying this is one of my all time favorite series & author and I have read all the books in the series. This book was funny, entertaining with wonderful characters as usual. Jet is pilot for Argeneau Inc (& mortal) & Quinn was a passenger on the flight when it crashed. Quinn ends of saving Jet & during that time they discover they’re life mates. While I loved Jet, Quinn was whiny & annoying through most of the book. I understand she had a lot of tragedy in her life & finally deci ...more

I have to start by saying I LOVE this series!! This just fell short though. It had tons of moments I couldn't get past. We are 20 books deep into this series so we get to know the rules of life mates pretty well by now. Somehow Quinn is able to keep her mind from being read by older vamps even though she is untrained. Lucien's enforcers make errors that Jet catches. Plus other than a few small name drops we don't really get to spend time with any of her other wonderful characters. I still love t ...more

Jet Lassiter is a human pilot for the Immortals. This story starts out with a plane crashes and the action just keeps up though the whole book. Quinn is a immortal that was traumatized by her turn. She doesn’t want a life mate.

“Well, our little conversation about life mates was pretty telling,” Mary said. “But I would have realized it pretty quick anyway. The way you can’t take your eyes off each other is a very big tell as well.”

Another great adventure in this long time series. Humor is always

Although not my favorite of the Argeneau series, I did enjoy this entry and the escapades of Jett (human pilot/dude in distress) and Quinn (reluctant vampire/potential murder victim). The usual hijinks are present, and the suspense and romance go nicely hand in hand.

This ARC was obtained through Edelweiss, with thanks to Avon/HarperCollins, in exchange for an honest review.
