Breed warrior Micah is one of the Order’s best, his reputation for cold justice and lethal skill rivaled only by that of his formidable father, Tegan. So, when a mission Micah’s leading in an off-limits area called the Deadlands goes terribly wrong, leaving him the sole survivor of an apparent Atlantean attack, he won’t rest until he has answers...and vengeance for his fal ...more

Another outstanding book from the midnight breed series by Lara Adrian! I love these alien vampire warriors with their amber cat like gazes and their total bad ass attitudes and even at book 17 of the series I still am so obsessed with each and every book that comes out. The chemistry between Micah and phaedra was hot, sexy and intense and one of my new favorite couples. Theirs alot going on in this book with plenty of action and the storytelling and the characters layered and flawlessly written ...more

Superb - I loved Phaedra and Micah, they are the kind of couple I absolutely adore reading about but because I've followed this series from book 1, I know the world and its background, thus making these novels an excellent addition to the series.

Lara Adrian is one of my favourite authors, I love the Breed books, she has a unique way of capturing the reader with her words and pulling us into the world of vampires and their quest for peace (alongside meeting their mates). Sadly, for m

This one was just ok for me. I liked Phaedra but Micah, not so much. He was an ass from the start and didn't really change for most of the book. Even after the they had sex, he was an ass.

I found Phaedra and her connection to the crystals interesting, especially when we learned more about the white doe. I liked how Phaedra was able to protect everyone when needed. It will be interesting to see where things go from here with the crystals.

4.5 stars!

An exciting, action-packed and passionately romantic read, I have been so looking forward to reading this book! Tegan and Elise (from Midnight Awakening) are my favourites of the original Midnight Breed couples, and this is the story of their son, Micah, who is now all grown up, and a fierce warrior fighting for The Order, just like his father before him.

Phaedra is an Atlantean, once part of the court and tightly bound to her race and its power, but she has been living among humans in

Breed Warrior Micah entire team has been killed by some kind of UV light. Micah has had this dream continually about what happen in the Siberian forest.

Phaedra an Atlantean has also had the exact same dream as Micah. When they meet up Micah blames Phaedra for killing his team. Sparks Fly.

Opus is still attacking the Breed. I didn't like that the Order did not have a massive strike against Opus. It felt like they got away with the massive attacks against The Order. There should have been some typ

Wow! I was not expecting that! I like Micah and Phaedra just fine. Their push and pull was good, but this one was all about the overall Breed story arch. And I am here for it! Boy oh boy I cannot wait until September. Happy reading!

There are more than twenty books -including the novellas- of Midnight Breed and Next Generation and I have enjoyed every single of them since they first published, more than a decade ago. They are not your typical vampire romance books; they are perfect mix of romance, action, friendship, loyalty, mystery and the paranormal world. Ms Lara Adrian still writes them, I still read them. I have been looking forward to reading the story of Micah, who is the son of Elise and Tegan from Midnight Awakeni ...more

Micah is Tegan's son from the original Breed crew. He meets Atlantean Phaedra when she's walking in the Dreamscape and he's in the deadlands in Siberia. Tragedy happens. But are Micah and Phaedra fated mates for meeting in the Dreamscape?

Phaedra is intimately involved with the crystals that the Breed need to collect and keep safe. They can be used as weapons.

The Opus Nostrum is up to deadly tricks in this book, with tragic consequences.

They find a surprise.

In all, this is a book filled with act

Fantastic. This book brought out every emotion for me. I laughed, cried, smiled with joy & was shocked beyond belief. It was just an amazing addition to the series. So many new ideas of what is going to happen and who the true evil really is. Micah & Phaedra are a fantastic couple.
I received an ARC for my honest review.

3.5 - 4.0 ***

I'm a few books behind in the series and there's quite a bit going on in preparation for the series conclusion.

Micah reminded me of Teagan except he didn't whine as much. I didn't dislike Micah or Phaedra. I thought they were OK as a couple. I did have trouble understanding what ancient Atlantean Phaedra saw in young, conflicted Micah. The relationship evolved so quickly they barely got to know each other.

The addition of one more ancient running amok is sure to have consequences fo

Finding the right words to say just how much I enjoyed this book eludes me. I felt the wave of concern for Lucan as the breeds battle the latest evil targeted at them, Elise’s dread at the possibility of losing her husband or son and took the journey with each of the characters throughout.
Micah and Phaedra were so different but also so alike their characters are dynamic and their interaction compelling. Fall of Night is well written and delivered perfectly and I can’t recommend it highly enough

A Well done story

the preview for this story Said Micah was a chip off the old block.
how right that was , I saw so much of his Father ( Tegan) in him
brought a smile to me every time he did something just as Tegan would have done. more than once it spoke of how much they were alike
even if both refused to admit it.

Great book

This book is about one of the Breed and how he found his mate. Some of the same villains in the last book have appeared here and one villain I thought was gone.....isn’t.

I've been waiting for this book for SO LONG! Unfortunately for me, and all the other Midnight Breed fans, Ms. Adrian has spent some time the last few years writing other books, which are also amazing, but not about my Breed warriors. So, I've been sad. That sadness ended today! Or rather, ridiculously early this morning.

Fall of Night is the story of Micah, son to Tegan and Elise. I was super excited for this one, because Tegan is my absolute favorite from the original order. I do really enjoy a

Fall Of Night is all about Micah who is the son of Tegan and Elise who we first meet in book 3 of the series. Micah is one of the orders best warriors and is only rivaled by his father Tegan. When the covert mission that he is leading into the deadlands an area that is off limits, goes disastrously wrong. Micah is the sole survivor of an attack that introduces us to Phaedra, an Atlantean who has been living among the humans after leaving her Atlantean home centuries before.

* You need to read the previous books in the series to fully understand all the backstory this book relies upon.

Breed warrior Micah has a reputation of being a very cold hearted bastard. So when he looses his entire team on a secret mission in Kazakhstan, he vows to himself that he will not rest until the perpetrator has been punished. So when he encounters the woman he met in the forest just before the explosion, he thinks she has something to do with the crime. But Phaedra, an ancient Atlantea

The suspense continues to build in Micah's book in regards to Opus Nostrum and the Atlantean Queen Selene vs the Order. In this book we discover and find out the undercover mission Micah was on and find out where he went MIA at. We also meet Phaedra, his mate who is Atlantean and has a heart of gold and unique talent and family history making her a valuable woman to help the Order in their goal of destroying Opus Nostrum and fighting against Selene. As Ms. Adrian is bringing the Midnight Breed series to its conclusion, all I can say is I will miss it terribly, although I know she will have other novels just as exciting in store for us, as well as one more Breed novel, and continuation of the Hunter Legacy Series.

Back to Fall of Night… This book centers around Micah, the son of Tegan and Elise. Tegan is Lucan Thorne’s second in command, one of the most lethal warriors, and Micah, cold and equally as lethal, is following in his father’s foots

I was a bit worried when I started this book that I would struggle to catch up with the story. It's been awhile since we visited this much loved world and I'm happy to say it was like I'd visited it yesterday. This story gives us another piece of the puzzle in the ongoing war the Midnight Breed are engaged in.

They're under fire from multiple sides and there's a lot that needs resolving. This book has a lot going on, had a family feel for me with a lot of the wider characters showing up on the p

Like all of Lara Adrian’s books this one packs a punch on every level with action and heart stopping danger at almost every turn, passion, heat and love.

This is Breed warrior Micah and Atlantean Phaedra’s story. These two unlikely lovers meet in The Dreamscape and the story unfolds from there. After a devastating tragedy Micah believes the Atlanteans are behind it and vows with every fiber of his being he’ll get revenge for the deaths of his team, leaving him the sole survivor.

Even though Micah got on my nerves a lot, and Phaedra acted like she is 20 not 200 years old they still managed to be a cute pairing.

This book came out all of a sudden and it felt like it. I liked the story (which was really short), I liked the main pairing but still, I felt like everything and nothing happened. The one last Ancient is alive and kicking, Opus Nostrum is still out there and Selene is being a mysterious threat. I expect a lot of things to happen in the n

Fall of Night is Lara Adrian’s 17th book in her Midnight Breed series and it’s another fantastic read. It’s fast-paced, exciting and filled with action, twists and turns and things that make your jaw drop to the ground in shock. This book tells the story of Micah and Phaedra. Micah is the son of Tegan and Elise, one of the “original couples” we met earlier in the series (book 3), and he is as bad**s of a warrior as his father is. Phaedra, meanwhile, is an Atlantean who has lived in Rome for many ...more

4.5 Stars!!! Fall of Night is another wonderful addition to the always entertaining Midnight Breed Series. This story is about Breed warrior Micah (Tegan & Elise’s son) and Phaedra an Atlantean who we meet when Micah’s mission goes terribly wrong. Only Phaedra thinks it’s all a dream and Micah believes she may be to blame for what happened on his mission…so when the two meet again let’s just say the fireworks begin and never stop!!! This book has all of the elements that make the Midnight Breed series so amazing. It's character driven with a cohesive storyline that holds together over generations of characters. The world building is solid and draws you in to its universe. The romance is steamy at times but not gratuitous, it flows and makes sense in the larger context of the story. In this particular case, Micah and Phaedra are both strong characters with good chemistry and the story of their relationship ties in with the o ...more

If I could rate this book by my desire to drop everything and read then Fall of Night deserves 10 stars. I didn't just read it once, but I read it a second time for all the thrills, chills and hold on to your heart moments.

This book was printed on a corkscrew. There were so many twists and turns I wasn't able to predict any of the OH MY moments. The romance between Micah, Tegan and Elise's gorgeous son, and Phaedra, pure Atlantean, was the icing on the cake of immense drama.

It’s that time of the year again! Another book for the Midnight Breed series! As Lara winds down her long vampire romance series it has many of us wondering how the series will end! With many loose ends still open we hope to see more closure within the next two books.
Without giving any spoilers there were a few new developments in this book but still many ends to tie. Should make the final book, King of Midnight, an interesting and hopefully long read! As for this book it has l
