Audio edition-
was easy to follow along with while walking, was compassionate without being morbid or maudlin. Was factual, provided historical background for the main characters which may have provided motivation.
Was a short "read" so maybe not the most in-depth, perhaps, but provided a good basic timeline of his life.

Interesting
Having lived in the San Diego area at the time I was familiar with the event but wanted to learn more of the details. The book did that for me. It's difficult to comprehend that such a large group of seemingly educated mature adults would believe this crap.
