It’s an epic conclusion of the trilogy! Maia and the others work tirelessly to find and rescue Taylor from Daashu. The end up finding and rescuing Maia’s mother, Irana, as well. Before being sent to Daashu, Irana, was a member of Corvis’s inner circle. The information Maia’s mother is able to provide is a big advantage to the rebellions efforts. The Dominion is planning to engage the humans, Naledai, and ikthian deserts with biological warfare. The used Maia’s research to develop the bioweapon. The rebellion works up plans to find a live sample of a vaccine and to get the coalition the information about the bioweapon before it can be released in Earths Atmosphere. I love the strength of these characters. Taylor isn’t afraid to sacrifice herself to ensure Maia’s safety. She underwent torture and was shot to protect Maia and the others. Maia is driven to help the rebellion counteract anything the Dominion may be planning because of her research. She changes so much through the trilogy. The connection between Taylor and Maia only continues to grow and strengthen. Sorra and Odelle are finally free to be together and they are both key leaders of the rebellion efforts. I love how Odelle can rein Sorra in and get her to see and do things others can’t. Sorra loves Odelle deeply and softens to her. Rachel has seen the error of her ways and is a strong fighter in the rebellion. She deals with deepening feelings that she is developing for Elurin. I love the journey of self discover she undergoes. Elurin is the best pilot and she is head over heels for Rachel. She fights to preserve earth if only to prove her love for Rachel. I’m sadden for the story to end, but I love how the characters are left to fight another day and continue to take down the Dominion and enjoy the love of their lives.

It's a wonderful conclusion to the series, new readers should feel free to dive in now they won't have a book two ending to sit on. I genuinely was a little slow to start reading this after I bought it because of how tense the situation was to drop back in to.

Overall though, it's just been a fantastically competent series. I appreciated how each book slowly expanded the cast of PoV characters in a way that felt natural and kept the expansion of the reader's understanding of the setting in an appropriate place. The wider cast of characters let each book experience such a variety and growth of personal moments to expand upon the sweeping greater narrative. It all culminated in a wonderful finale that made use of all the work done in the lead up.

Treat yourself to some wonderful Sci-Fi writing here.

It had been quite a while since I read the second book, but I managed to get into Eclipse with complete ease. The events of the previous book rushed back at me. I really loved this book! I loved the politics and the relationships. I shipped all of the couples and I loved their bond. As always, the writing was phenomenal and the story was really enjoyable. I found myself unable to stop reading at times. Thank you to Rae and Michelle for this fantastic conclusion to an awesome series!

Epic conclusion

Great series! As a female military veteran and sci fi fan, I really enjoyed the the story and characters. Loved that the women were the shot callers, kicking a$$, shooting grenade launchers, and skilled pilots. I have also read Lucky Seven by Ms Magdon and just purchased Lucky Eight. As a woman of color, I also appreciate she includes people of color in her books. Thank you for another epic adventure!❤️🙏🏽

4 stars. Great and action packed conclusion to the series. The romance takes a back seat here but does pick up at around 60% or so and I thought that was a great decision. I also really liked how this ended and the epilogue was sweet and incredibly sexy. This series was a lot of fun. Not ones that I absolutely loved but I would definitely recommend them if you like sci-fi and romance.
