This was the final and latest book/audio in the series related to Joe's Ho'oponopono adventures. It's probably more "Joe" than actual Ho'oponopono or Dr Len's system, but it does have a few good pointers within. That said, there's still a lot of distracting marketing messages, and although the interview style is interesting and great for getting through a fair amount of knowledge, it's not really a 'relaxing' read/audio to get through. The main topic and showcase, which is of course, the 'Fifth Phrase' was a bit of a let down for me, personally. It didn't gel much with my own intuition, and the oddness of the phrase just didn't sit right with me. It's not a subject-object petition or prayer like the other 4 phrases, and is more of a statement of how Joe sees things working, which may be correct metaphysically, but doesn't really do much (for me personally) as a spiritual prayer or exercise. Later he talks about how to create your own unique phrase, which is interesting, but could go off track with a lot of people as it just adds more complexity to the overall practice. Similarly with other 'cleaning tools' that people might randomly add. The beauty of the Ho'oponopono practice is that it is simple, and I feel that JV is adding complexity to the practice, which probably doesn't need to be there. Further, the end goal of this whole thing is to get aquainted with the Zero State, but these additions seem to be getting further in the opposite direction. One would think the next progression in Ho'oponopono would be to remove concepts and incorporate some direct 'surrender' or 'non-doing' type teachings, but I feel the whole system has become too busy now with further add-ons and value-adds every few years. Overall, worth a read/listen if you've gone through all the previous material, but don't expect anything too huge. I'm sorry, thank you.
Believe it or not, this is the first book I read by Joe Vitale. Heard about him from the secret but never dived into his material before except for a five minute podcast he was hosted on and already got gems from those five minutes. This book holds gems too as a first time reader of Joe’s Material; may be repetitive for those that already know and are familiar with his work because he references his books a lot, which I am grateful for because I am excited to dive deeper into them as well. This material is very rich; will definitely re-read it, and has been very useful and resourceful; he mentioned a lot of people and other works that I am excited to check as well! Brilliant job! This book definitely added new Information, which I am excited to explore more, for me personally. And because i will re-read it, I will give it 5 stars, that’s my rule!
This book gave a nice overview of Ho'oponopono and Dr Len's system, and does have a few good pointers in it . The main topic and showcase, which is of course, the 'Fifth Phrase' seems to me a more personal message . It does not seem right in this setting to me. It seems more how Joe sees things working, but does not resonate well for me. The beauty of the Ho'oponopono practice is that it is simple, straightforward . Overall, worth a read . However, I am indebted to Joe for reviving and keeping up my practice of Ho'oponopono and am grateful. I'm sorry, forgive me, I love you, thank you.
This is the one book u have to know about ho'oponopono, narration is very clear and u will be provided with a great sense of knowledge about the connection between the inner and the outer action. I definitely recommend first to read the zero limits to start with the introduction of ho'oponopono and definitely read the 5th phrase so u know what to do and how to do also when to do. All ur questions answered. Just read it and always do the prayer u r sort for ur life.
Hooponopono works but this book didn’t work for me. It’s a small book and yet it felt like he was excited about what he was writing about but the info he shared shouldn’t have taken this many pages. Bottom line. Be grateful and think positive!
Vitale's work always gets a bit silly when he is expanding on other people's work in this instance the ancient ho'oponopo. It doesn't really ring true, but as somebody who puts other people's work out there, he is doing good work.
what happens when you have a corporate white guy who has access to an indigenous system of life and magic? He brands it and sells it and you get to comb through his crap and dig out the good quotes.
