Wonderful and more.

"Slow Foods are mainly peasant foods -- dishes and ingredients that have been prepared the same way for centuries. They are time tasted. They spring directly from regional cultures and cuisines. Really fantastic collection of stories of the people currently making the slow food movement possible. Wine, salt, fish, meat, and cheese are included. Also includes some great photography and recipes.

I started reading through this when I was tabling for Slow Food at and event and think that Corby Kummer does a good job of explaining the movement. The photos and recipes are beautiful as well.
