مرايا الأنا ونافذة الآخَر

في سياق الدراسة النقدية للفكر العربي المعاصر يتحرك هذا الكتاب، المكون من إحدى وأربعين مقالة ودراسة، وينقسم إلى أربعة أبواب أساسية، هي تيارات الفكر العربي المعاصر، وإشكالاته، ورؤية بعض المستشرقين المعاصرين له، وأخيرًا ما بعد الفكر العربي المعاصر. يبدأ الكتاب بوصف أهم معالم الفكر العربي المعاصر باعتباره حزمة من المفاهيم والمعالجات الممنهجة، التي تستهدف حل سؤال التحديث، والموقف من الهوية، ومشكلات حقوق الإنسان، والمرأة، وحوار الحضارات، والدين، وغيرها. ويتوقف عند مفهوم العقل العربي، ومفهوم كل من التراث، والحداثة، والهوية، والإصلاح، وسواها. كما يتعرض بالنقد لبعض من أهم مشروعات الفكر العربي المعاصر مثل مشروعات أدونيس، وعابد الجابري، وحسن حنفي، ونصر أبو زيد، وغيرهم.
ويتضمن الكتاب بعض الفصول الأقرب إلى المثقف العام، والبعض الآخر الأقرب إلى التخصص. ولكن أغلب لغة الكتاب تحاول التحرر من اللغة الاصطلاحية قدر الإمكان، لتمنح القارئ غير المتخصص مدخلاً يسيرًا نسبيًا للولوج إلى عالم ذلك الفكر.
و"مرايا الأنا" هي الصفحات التي فيها تتجلى صورة الذات حين تطالع فكرها، الذات العربية المعاصرة، أما "نوافذ الآخر" فهي نظرة الآخر الحضاري لتلك الذات من خلال الصفحات نفسها. وقد كتب أغلب هذا الكتاب أثناء إقامة المؤلف في أوروبا؛ حيث تعرف على رؤية المستشرقين الغربيين للفكر العربي، كما أتيحت له الفرصة لينظر إلى هذا الفكر نظرة جديدة، تتخلص من كثير من المسلمات المسبقة، وربما تتطلع إلى تجاوز الفكر العربي المعاصر نحو ما بعده، وخاصة تحت أثر التحولات الاجتماعية والسياسية بعد الربيع العربي على الفكر العربي.

About the author

Kaim Elsaiad كريم الصياد was born in 1981, Cairo, Egypt. He through the governmental education system joined the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University(Kasr Al-Aini)in 1999. Due to his interest in philosophy he turned to join the Faculty of Arts at the same university after two years of studying medicine. He got his PhD in hermeneutics from University pf Cologne, Germany and became a senior lecturer at Department of Philosophy of Cairo University, Medicine impressed him deeply as it is seen in his short stories especially. His research interests vary from Islamic philosophy, Islamic philosophy of law, Islamic theology, contemporary Arab thought, political philosophy, political economy to the leftist and socialist western streams of thought, specially Marxism and existentialism esp. Heidegger.

Began in 2007 to publish his literature works, he had several books and research papers published to present.

Academic qualifications
-Jan. 2018 PhD from the university of Cologne, Germany in Islamic hermeneutics: "Ontologie der Koranauslegung".
January 2012: MA in philosophy, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, excellent grade, thesis title "Theory of Right in 'Ilm Usūl Al Fiqh: A Study in the Islamic Methodology", supervised by Prof. Dr. Hassan Hanafi and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Labeeb, Philosophy Department, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University.

August 2005: Excellent BA, with honors in philosophy, ranked 1st on Philosophy Department and 8th on Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, 2005.

June 2010-present: Active member in Union of Egyptian Writers.
