Such a great holiday treat. Vibe meets fated wold... It was great to read from several POV's. I love paranormal meets dark, and Liza James is so talented. She always hooks me in. We see how much pain both Amelia and Leon have had months apart. That ending, it was everything. I can’t wait to see what is in store for them. Such a fantastic novella that is action-packed.
Wow. Just wow. This author kills it every single time she writes a book. It felt amazing going back into this world with all of these characters and surprisingly seeing Ruby & Aura in this world. They fit right in like they belong there the entire time. Reading this little novella just made me want to go back and read Fated and Descent all over again. All it did was show me how much I missed Elijah, Luna, Stella Nathaniel, Leon, Amelia & Lucifer. That ending GUTTED ME THOUGH. HOW YOU GONNA DO ME LIKE THAT? I NEED MORE. If you haven't read this series yet this is one of those must reads that you just want to read over and over and over and over again! Pick up book one ASAP. 5 stars and MOREEEE.
Oh. My. God. How to tease someone with a novella? This novella made me all excited for the upcoming book about Leon and Amelia. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long!
Echo is the perfect blend between the Fated series and Vibe with a little twist I didn't saw coming at the end. I wanted to cry, I wanted to scream and wanted to cry again because of the ending of this novella. 😭 It makes me so excited and anxious at the same time.
Why Liza!? 😭
If you are as hooked by the Fated series as well as Vibe it's a must read.
What just happened?! Incredible world building! Characters that you can't help but fall in love with. And storytelling that literally crawls inside your head and stays there. Liza James has a gift.
Ruby and Aura, Luna and Elijah, Stella and Nathaniel, Amelia and Leon... I can't wait to see where the next installment takes us.
Highly recommend for those who love stories about fated mates. Amazing and want more of all these couples!
It was too short! . I didn’t want this to end. Such a treat getting to read this treat! This novella is the Fated series meets Vibe and I’m here for it! I love this so much! . For it being a novella and quiet short I didn’t expect to be impacted emotionally which took me by surprise. There’s so much depth packed into this that I was left hanging off every word and by the end I was teary and wanting more. . If you have read Liza’s other books then definitely go ahead and read this! Liza really knows how to captivate her audience and she definitely did that with this. This novella showcases all the characters we have been introduced to by Liza but it has a more in depth look into what Leon and Amelia are going through and the pain and conflicting emotions and mentality that they are going through. It’s definitely worth a read to experience more of the fated world. . Loved it!
This was a fun, quick little read. I loved not only being back in the Fated world but back with our Vibe girls, Raura. I love how Liza combined these worlds even though one is PNR and one is contemporary! Being back in the POV's of Aura, Ruby, Elijah, Luna, Leon and Amelia felt like coming home. I'm really looking forward to what Liza is going to bring to the table with Leon and Amelia's book, Chaos.
icl i’m highkey confused and don’t really know what this novella was for. maybe because the whole nya leon amelia thing was never really explained and that ending was like ??? like who is even alive, i don’t know??
is there another book, did i miss something 😭 i want more amelia and leon :/
confused, but also the smut in this hit, so i’ll take it :)
I loved seeing my favorites from the Fated series in a short holiday but not holiday story. When you read it you'll know what that means. I have been waiting for and craving the heart wrenching story of Leon and Amelia and was happy to get this little sneak peek.
I love the snippet of Dante and Amelia and learning some of their past. The tension between them is so palpable, everyone can see it and feel it. The rush is not knowing whether they are going to rip each other's throats out from their hatred or give in to temptation from their fated bond.
There's mystery in not knowing who Amelia is listening to and being controlled by. It's a horror story waiting to unfold. She has so much trauma and heartbreak and she's holding it in and dealing with it alone. If Leon ever decides to give her a chance,he might learn something but he doesn't want to forgive her because he needs someone to blame.
The only confusing part was Ruby and Aura being there. I don't know why they were there and they had no real purpose. As much as I love them and loved Vibe they just didn't fit to me, it was just weird to me.
What the actual fuck? This was not what I was expecting at all. Here I was hopping for a happy reunion between the Fated and Vibe characters, something happy and funny after all the pain that drowned them. Well, fuck me because you just threw more pain into this bloody sea of darkness. I was ecstatic to see them all together, interacting with each other, acting normal and shit. But that was just to good to bee true. We saw the excruciating pain Leon is experiencing, torn between hate and love for someone that is literally the other half to his soul. Everything just gets more and more complicated. Full of questions and a giant fucking puzzle where we can't find all the pieces and glue them together. But that's what makes this series so special. It's the question marks, the doubts, the fucking uncertainty of all this. I've fell in love since book 1, and I can't wait for you to keep breaking my heart and piece back together all over again 🖤
Liza, Liza, Liza...🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤. This woman knows how to bring all the emotion into her writing. Yet again she had me on an emotional roller coaster that I didn’t want to get off of.
This is a short (eight chapter) novella set in the world of The Fated series but merges with our girls from Vibe. It focuses mainly on the dynamic between Leon and Amelia. It gives us an insight into their internal struggle with their fated bond and really gives us a good foundation for their book. Of course there is still a lot of steam in true Liza fashion.
I cannot get enough of the worlds that Liza has created. Every single book is emotional, raw, gut wrenching and written with so much soul. She bleeds herself into every single page. I will continue to read every single book she puts out. They are not always easy to read (Echo being no different), but they are so worth it.
I have read all three books prior to this book of Liza James and I recommend you read them before you touch echo as they have interconnected characters and stories.
This novella blew me away and I’m so sad it’s finished. I have loved every book by this author but this made me want more and the scenes between each but the main focus of the book is Millie and Leon they are bonded but because of the hurtful moment in time that occurred, Leon hates her. You will revisit the bond between Leon and Millie. My favourites, Luna and Elijah and Nova and Aura. You will feel every raw emotion that by the time you’re finished your craving more. The ending tore me into two, I was in tears.
The moment something unexpected happens in a book and you’re left thinking what just happened and wanting the next book, you know the author has achieved what they wanted to. This book kept me reading and I didn’t want to put it down, not once.
I received this as an arc to give an honest opinion.
I absolutely LOVED this short novella! It blended two worlds we've come to love from Liza. We get our Vibe girls mixed with the Fated world for a holiday party full of darkness and surprise. Although I didn't see it coming I had tears in my eyes by the end. I need more!! The words were beautiful and the pain so real. Its a MUST read for anyone who loved Vibe or the Fated series. I can't wait for the next book in this series to see what happens next. Such a great Christmas gift to us readers from Liza! Brilliant!!
i don't know what I just read and what it is setting up for but very curious as to what went on between Esme and Aura? I always had that feeling that Aura and Ruby's connection felt like Elijah and Luna or Nathaniel and Stella.... but how true is this? because I need to know.
I don't know how I feel about Amelia and Leon, the fucking hatred he has for her, its so well written but I just feel bad? for both of them? to be in this situation! can't wait to see where it goes, if there is an another book!
This was the perfect holiday novella with a blending of the Fated and Vibe worlds. It was great to visit with these characters again while also getting a glimpse of the pain and suffering Leon and Amelia are going through. This story was dark and steamy. I loved that shocking ending. Liza James knows how to write the paranormal perfectly and I can’t wait for her next story.
This little novella was absolutely everything I could’ve wanted and it was the perfect mix of two worlds I love. Echo had a twist I definitely was not expecting (mind blown) and It dove in head first into Amelia and Leon’s story making you want more asap.
My heart, its bleeding out right now. Oh, how I've missed my Vibe girls and the Fated world. This novella packed all the punch, so flawlessly, all coming together so perfectly. A little, delicious holiday treat that has latched on and has me yearning, begging, and demanding more, more, more! I desperately need Amelia and Leon's story, that ending shredded me and I am not okay!
It's been a while since I've read books one and two of this series. Reading Echo has reminded me how in love I am with this universe and characters. It's left me with so many questions!
I'm so excited for book three. I seriously hope we're able to read it soon. I look forward to rereading the Fated Series to hopefully hold me over in the meantime.
Gonna be honest, I read this only for the small Ruby and Aura scenes. However, there may have only been two chapters of them I was so happy to get back into their story. I will forever want a book two! Domestic novella please after everything they went through I think they deserve a little normal. Amazing novella I hope Liza visits them again!
I loved this short novella of the Fallen world ! We get a glimpse of what’s to come in book three and I’m so ready for it ! Leon is going through so much but so is Amelia these two characters have intrigued me from the beginning and I am hoping we finally get there story! I love this world of fallen angels and demons that Liza has created its angsty it’s sexy it’s intense and I am here for it !
Okay so it's listed as fated 2.5, but it talks about other characters which were from a different series? I'm not really sure why.... also I personally think this whole series should have just resolved around Luna and Elijah. I feel like each book had no other plot than finding your fated mate and falling in love with them. I wish we could have seen Luna and Elijah learn how to use their powers, and rule the other fallen. I think the development of the characters were very surface level. Also, I am unsure of how Nathaniel and Stella even ended up together. I have no problem with forgiveness from toxic characters, but Nathaniel never even apologized to Stella for withholding feeding from her when he could have fed her, and all the awful things he said to her. But we never saw them progress forward. Also we never saw Elijah kill or learn who the other 3 guys that sexually assaulted Luna were, like they must have known Camden? Also, what happened to Dinner? I am so confused.
Also like uh did Millie end up dead what happened to her? What happened to Leon? I am so confused!!!!
Liza James has given us all a phenomenal holiday gift! This story was perfect! We got a little more of all of the characters I have come to love so much. It was the perfect tease and merging of both the Fated and Vibe worlds. I cannot wait for more!
Echo was the cherry on top of a pretty great Christmas! I was missing my Fated & Vibe babies, and this was the perfect blend of both worlds to tide me over until Amelia & Leon’s book releases. Echo is dark and steamy, with an ending that left me needing more. Seriously dying.
I just love this world that Liza has built! Not only did we get into the heads of some of our well loved characters but we also got a glimpse into the darkness of Leon and Amelia 😈
Brilliant short story that takes us back into the Fated series and Vibe. I loved reconnecting with the characters again because I'd missed them so much!
Can't wait for more from Leon & Amelia... The whole series is so addicting & Liza's writing is flawless.
Wow once again Liza has killed it! I was so excited to get my hands on this book and it did not disappoint! At. All. Liza has a unique way of transporting you into her books and you never want to leave.. This book was so unbelievably good.
I love everything Liza does.. FF isn't my thing (go read vibe) but that book was amazing.. this short story into the lives of the others is just as great.. Liza has created an incredible world where you just love everyone and everything.. my favourite Liza book though will always be fated.
Alot of darkness packed in this short story. Now I need answers about Amelia and where Nya is taking her. Will she and Leon ever accept their fate tied to each other. I need to know please!!
Liza James sure knows how to leave us fricken hanging! I didn't realize how much I missed the fated world until this novella. We got to dip our toes in the minds of our favorite characters again and having the best of both worlds with seeing our favorite vibe girls and our fated family! This was such an awesome short read and sets us up for more crazy events that are bound to happen in the fated series! If I wasn't antsy about getting my hands on Leon and Amelia's story before I certainly am now after that sneak peek!!
