I was so excited to get my hands on this baby. I've been wanting to know what happens at Bad Luck Club since Blue brought it up, and I wasn't disappointed. Much like the Buchanans, Blue managed to find a beautiful, eclectic family that is chosen, not made, and Lee, while skeptical, seems to be a perfect fit. These two broken, incredible people have major pasts to overcome, but the journey they go through to get their happy ending is alive with such sweet moments and a whole lot of getting in the ...more

Lee and Blue might be my favorite couple yet! This sweet tale explores the idea of finding something you didn't even know you were looking for.
Lee is a grouch who seems to be pushing everyone away, though he is inexplicably drawn to Blue. Blue wants to help Lee, even though their first encounter leaves something to be desired. Neither can deny the chemistry they feel, yet their past hurts prevent them from being open about their feelings for each other. Both of them must learn to embrace the per

This is the fourth book in this series and I have been waiting for Lee's story since the beginning because I felt there was just something more. Blue and Lee are perfect together. I think this is my favorite out of all of the books.
Each story draws you in and makes you feel more like part of the family.

Bad Luck Club is book four in the Asheville Brewing series and my favorite book to date. It is the story of Lee and Blue who are polar opposites. Lee is the very unlikeable brother. A real jerk. Blue is the lovable free spirit who everyone adores. Her first time meeting Lee was a disaster. Lee threw up on her expensive shoes and she didn't take it well.

Lee has been under his fathers thumb for years. He worked tirelessly for his father but was never good enough. His father has some shady dealing

We are finally at the story we all have been waiting for. Lee and Blue. Side note: I can't wait till you find out her name.

This book shows us the struggles Lee had growing up along with his accepting the adult changes he has to make. Along comes Blue with her bad luck club and self doubt to save the day. They both have problems to work through. With the help of a few friends and a club of misfits they both comes through this as better people.

I felt this story was what I needed for closer. They a

In the first 3 books in this series we’ve known Prescott Lee Buchanan Jr. as the obnoxiously, arrogant brother who has his nose so far up his even more obnoxious, arrogant and narcissistic father’s ass in an attempt to please daddy, he can’t see the forest for the trees. Even though he’s turned himself into his father’s mini-me his redeeming virtue is that underneath it all he really does love his sisters and did his best to help Adalia the youngest, a struggling artist whom their fathe

Bad Luck Club is redemptive and touching but ultimately the romance is left a little on the sidelines.

In the Bad Luck Club (Asheville Brewing #4), a newly single and humbled Lee Buchanan is in Asheville fresh from having discovered his father’s and ex-fiancé’s betrayals. He’s living with Adalia, Jack and Iris and TRYING to find a place at Buchanan Brewery but not having much success.

So far he’s failed at every job his siblings have given him within the Brewery. He’s almost ready to tr

To preface, I tried to love this book. I felt each story in this series got better as they went, but this book just didn’t do it for me.

Lee Buchanan is the eldest of the siblings. At the end of book three, Better Luck Next Time, I felt that Lee’s story would be powerful. I was intrigued about how the authors were going to pull this arrogant jerk into a lovable character. Then Blue Combs, she had this air of mystery about her that I couldn’t wait to find out more.

With those points of interest,

And we are now into the final installment of the Asheville Brewing series with Lee's story. After the previous book he is a mess, he lost everything, his job, his position, he feels like a complete loser. Blue feels a pull towards him because she identifies aspects of herself in him. She truly believes that she and her band of merry friends can help him if he lets them. Enter, the Bad Luck Club and their challenges, which were from soulful to hilarious.

The male lead of "Bad Luck Club," Lee Buchanan, was kind of a jerk in the earlier books of this series, but after facing scandal and betrayal by his father and ex-girlfriend, he was in a much different place by the time this story began. There was so much more to Lee than I ever thought possible, and his journey turned out to be one of the most emotional character arcs of the entire series. His father had forced him to hide his emotions for years because he considered them to be a weakness, but ...more

The Bad Luck Club is the fourth book in the Asheville Brewing series, and I have only read Getting Lucky (third book) before now. I can honestly say you can come into this series midway and catch up. I know we saw the epic fall of Lee in Getting Lucky, and now he's scraping his life back together. I will give the author's this; they didn't sugar coat Lee's path; he needed significant attitude adjustments and working on undoing a lifetime of mental abuse from Prescott Buchanan. This abuse is evid ...more

I love this series, and really love how the stories build on each other.
Lee and Blue's story was one I had been waiting for.

It was interesting to read about each of the characters. Blue has always been one I couldn't
quite figure out. She read as kind of a random person in the past books.
The same can be said for Lee, he has always seemed so closed off and kind of hard for me to understand in the past books.
Knowing this book was about the two of them I was really looking forward to reading the

Two lost souls finding their way to happiness!!!

I was so excited to get to go back to the Ashville Brewery series and was very intrigued with both Blue and Lee at the end of Getting Lucky and I was not disappointed.

Blue is trying to overcome a past where she let the men in her life control her....her father and her second husband to be exact. She is working on making herself better and joined the Bad Luck Club which is aiding in her growing.

I was so excited to read Blue and Lee’s story. Given the way their first meeting occurred, (*cough* vomit on shoes *cough*), I was interested to see how they could build a romance from that. I was also really curious about the “Bad Luck Club.”

Although I sort of had an idea what the Bad Luck Club was, I was not prepared for some of the things they do at their meetings. But it made for some hilarious hijinks. (Although I wasn’t a fan of what they did to Lee at his first meeting. You’ll have to re

Finally getting to know the real Lee! This is the fourth and final book of the Asheville brewing series featuring the main siblings. It needs to be read in order since there is a continuing plot point through all the books.

I absolutely loved Blue! She’s had her share of bad luck for sure, but she’s determined to make her own luck now. With the help of the Bad Luck Club she’s now got friends that are her family and have her back no matter what.

I think I say it every review but it needs to be said again, the Asheville Brewing series is my absolute FAVORITE! And Bad Luck Club rounds out the series so it’s a must read!

I was excited for Blue’s story, I really liked her from the moment she was introduced and appreciated how she was seamlessly brought in to the Buchanan orbit, not to mention the air of mystery that surrounded her. Lee, I was never a fan. And not for the obvious villain of the story reason but because I just didn’t quite con

The Bad Luck Club is the final book in the fun and charming Asheville Brewing series. The last book is on the more series side compare to others but I was here for it.

Lee and Blue were the most damaged out of all the characters in the series. They spent their whole lives stuck in toxic relationships where they were trying to prove they were worthy to be loved by those closest to them. The Bad Luck Club is the fourth book of the Asheville Brewing series by A.R. Casella and Denise Grover Swank. This story concentrates on the oldest grandson of Beau Buchanan, Lee and his relationship with Blue an artist. Lee finds that he is like a fish out of water trying to piece his life back together and Blue is more than ready to help him as she strives forward fighting her own demons. It is a battle as Lee and Blue reconcile their pasts and blossom.

Lee Buchanan is the most angsty of the Buchanan siblings. He's been living under his father's thumb for so long that he doesn't know who truly is or what he wants in life. After turning his father and ex fiance in to the feds he finds himself in Asheville working at the family brewery with the rest of his siblings.

Bad Luck Club may be my favorite installment in the Asheville Brewing Series. I just loved Blue- probably because I can relate to being a serial people-pleaser. And Lee's past and baggage just broke my heart! If you need a little hope that a run of bad luck isn't forever, you will find a lot to love here. Maybe Bad Luck Clubs will start springing up everywhere! While unconventional, I love the idea of the challenges they did. What an unlikely thing to build community around. Lee and Blue is my favorite couple now though I love all of Buchanan's expanded family! Loved Lee and Blue's journey to find the true themselves and each other. This story hit home in more than one way for me and that makes it more special. It's hard, I would say impossible to live up in the mould shaped by people who are supposed to love you unconditionally. That makes you a grumpy unhappy person you are not really when you don't fit in those expectations. Luckily that Blue and Lee have found t ...more

I had a sneaking feeling that Lee and Blue would somehow find friendship, I had not expected an entire book! I knew that Lee was troubled and his sisters are amazing, so there was hope for him. I could never quite figure out Blue. Her past, her name, her art, were all mysteries. BLClub by A.R. Casella and D. Grover Swank is a stand-lone in the Asheville Brewing Series. There are a few cross-overs, so I recommend to read the books in order.
This is Lee and Blue's story.
Lee is the oldest of the Buchanan siblings and up to today he was the devoted, conservative son his father wanted him to be. But now everything has changed and he's living with his siblings in Asheville. He lost his glorious lifestyle, has to start over, but he doesn't know where he fits.

The Bad Luck Club is the top secret support group Blue has been attending and it's been driving her friends crazy because she won't give them any information. They think when she asks Lee to go with her, they'll finally get the spoilers. Lee on the other hand thinks it's ridiculous and the members are strange to the max. His first visit doesn't go well at all, or so he thinks. Maybe there is something to this whole thing after all. With bad luck from both of their pasts lurking in the shadows tr ...more

At first glance, Lee Buchanan & Blue Combs do not seem to be a very good fit for each other. Lee is stoic, a stickler for rules, and has resting grumpy face. Blue is carefree, artistic, and can laugh at herself at times. Neither of them is looking for any kind of relationship, not even a one-night stand, but fate has a way of stepping in and taking control.

This is one of my favorite books in the Asheville Brewing series so far. I love how Blue & Lee push back against the pull that they feel for

Asheville Brewing is a fantastic series co-written by fabulous authors. This installment is a unique one because of the characters involved. We got to meet artsy Blue and serious Lee in earlier books in the series. Although the pair seem like an unlikely love connection, they seem like two magnets drawn to one another. Both Lee and Blue come with plenty of emotional baggage, and navigating their attraction and a new relationship doesn't come easy. The struggle that they go through to get their r ...more

I couldn't wait to read Bad Luck Club, the fourth book in the Asheville Brewing Series, because the teaser for this exclusive club sounded so interesting to me!
