Found this book quite motivational actually. It's good to have a sense what are the main habits of trading are supposed to be in order to be good, and what habits to eliminate. Despite the differences in the risk appetite of the traders interviewed there's many things to learn from each of them. This book focuses on short-term derivative traders, mainly options, futures and spot fx.

This is a fun, quick read, patterned after Schwager's Market Wizards series. All of these traders are retail traders, so there's more of a sense that "they're just like us", but overall I found the content less informative than the Wizards books. If you're only going to read one trading book, this isn't it. If you like reading trading books, it's a fun afternoon.

Nice interviews, good lessons learnt from these traders. Tho, some out of the topic questions and very long.

I enjoy it and, I recommend this book to any traders who want to enhance its knowledge in the field

The bad: Nothing in specific. If anything, it's a very long book with a lot of fluff. The interviews could have been cut to talk only about the trading philosophies instead of the talk about personal lives, children and more, but I guess some people really want to read everything about the lives of the traders. I personally don't.

The good: it's a very interesting book with the views and strategies of different traders. It contains no strategies or techniques whatsoever. It's a book on discipline and stories. But a good one at that.

Because this book is about general lessons, I think it's important to read it after the technical books with the techniques and strategy. It's a book to return to after the ups and downs of the market, to tie it all together.

Very useful for beginners who want to pick up trading, as it follows traders in a very wide palette. From people making small & many gains in forex, trading in to people trading stocks, to people trading commodities.
Different perspectives, principles and backgrounds.

For an established trader, I wouldn't see much value besides entertainment.

In the book you will read about different styles of trading. It is good idea to read book and make some notes and later apply noted ideas to your traiding style.

3.7☆ (~4)

Decent if you already read most popular books on trading like Market Wizards.

I didn't get any gems because I already read many trading books but it was a good listen and enjoyable.

Because it's free on audible. Otherwise i probably wouldn't rate it higher than 3.5

The narrator was decent. Some chapters it was worse for some reason.

I thought it was a decent read. More of a motivational book to an aspiring trader. While it has some strategies there not covered in detail enough to implement them. I would recommend for motivational purposes.;
