The Seymore Brothers #1

Them Seymore Boys

Rate this book
Enemies don’t become lovers, they simply pretend.

The Seymore Boys were never anything more than sacks of chiseled muscles and sharp jaws. A wad of beauty to cover up their rotten cores.

They came into this world with a vengeance.
Breathing hate.
Wreaking havoc.
Scorching dreams.

But they weren’t the only ones filled with hate.

For a while, I threw my fury in their direction. It was my crew against theirs. Brick by brick, we were hellbent on taking the Seymores down.

And then things changed.

All because of that blue-eyed reject, Rudy Seymore. His whispered lies and dangerous truths. His devilish smile and wicked tongue. The way he touched me on the outside and deep within.

Suddenly, the fire in the Seymore Boys looked different. Appealing.

But fire is fire.
And I’m about to learn just what it means to get burnt.

I'm giving it 5* & not 4* only for two Reasons: The last 50% of this book & the potential for next book.

A Fun YA Story, Start to a Potentially Great Series with High School Wars, Hilarious Pranks, Rumors I Hate, Escalated Situations, Stuck, Romance & Steam, Secrets, & a Mighty Fine Cliffhanger.
Because of the Book's 2nd Half, I come to Love Rudy & Kennedy. Most of the other characters I hate, maybe His Foster brothers not so much.
And...It wasn't as dark I'd thought, not yet atleast.
#My 1st by these authors, Maybe I'll read more books by them!

I read this book in 3 installments throughout the days:

•1/ Going Ok so far.. 0 to 26% Now.(Jan 3), Nothing much.
•2/ I almost DNF-ed BUT Things are finally looking up..27 to 53%. (Jan 9), Rudy & Ken kissed!
•3/ Wow!! 54 to 100% (Finished). (Jan 16), I Practically DEVOURED these Scenes!

Julianne & Her gang (Macy & Joan) made Ken friends when she was a newbie few years back. Julianne is at War with The Seymores for YEARS, Supposedly "Bad" Foster kids, & we don't find the reason for the war until way later (When Ken finds it too), But I think there's more going on.
Like Good Lackies, Kennedy fell in line like the rest with Julianne & Helped her against Seymores.

But Now, It's the last year of School & Kennedy finds that Jul's Intentions with Seymores maybe not as "For Justice" as Everyone thought..
This leads to Ken questioning everything, Rebelling in little ways & Sympathize with Seymores.
The 1st half of the book had Ken's above Realisations, Pranks, Ken feeling Guilty for doing nothing, Julianne's Cruel Words, Seymores' Retaliation, good ol' times.
The start seemed promising but Things were Progressing slowly BUT We do See Rudy; Hispanic, Quiet, Sweet but Badass; in passing, Stolen Glances & Helps, which was Good. FYI, Both R & K do Track & Are together in Music class!
I Hate Julianne VERY much. She's so suspicious & Manipulative. Ken's Friends aren't much of Friends. I also came to not like Ken's parents who're never home, they're Motivational speaker yet can't see their Kid's pain. I like Seymore dad more than'em, by Rudy's Talks, he seems great!

~ Then Comes the FUN & DRAMATIC 2nd Half of the book, Things take a Fast-paced Turn! ~
Kennedy may be pathetic at 1st half (She said so HERSELF), But she slowly starts coming out of that shell here! (Sadly, we get only Ken's PoV) Ken & Rudy finally break through the walls of "Being Enemies" & go after what they want: Eachother, even if only in secret. The Kisses, Make outs & Steamy times were HOT! They're Cute together; Weeks pass, Them Growing Closer, Feelings budding❤ but Sneaking around has lost its appeal..But what can they do?

Then comes More Problems..A Slew of pranks against Julianne's Crew (Mostly Ken, Poor girl), Jul's a bitch, I think it's her doing.
Rudy's bros find about him & Ken, not fully though. They think Ken is using him. Julianne found about'em too, but she thinks Rudy is stalking Ken..
And that Last prank Julianne did against Rudy, in Ken's name so Rudy will Hate Ken & back off, was going too far. Even ken thinks so too. Rudy is angry & Well, doesn't Want to talk to Ken (Not blaming him). Ken wants to talk to him, will she able too?

As Now comes the Cliffhanger Ending, on her way to talk to Rudy, She's Kidnapped *Oh Hell*. Why? By Whom? At last, the Seymores come to her, but are They the kidnappers? Exactly as bad as Rumors said? Or Are they her Saviors? (Ken was a little more Dramatic saying she's gonna die, but Meh, I don't think so!)
Well, I'm so excited for the next book to see where's this going!

I felt disappointed with this book. I am a fan of the authors after reading Vile Intentions. I just did not connect with Kennedy. The whole flow of the story was not to my personal liking. I didn’t even feel a connection to any of the secondary characters.

Kennedy and Rudy, after a while became cute, however, I still didn’t enjoy this one. In some ways, it’s like Romeo and Juliet.

Overall, still a fan, but not of this book.

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I know we all have different opinions and taste with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

Well I sure hope there’s a book two because if not I’m going to be really disappointed. This book has a lot of potential and I wish I could give it five stars but unfortunately. I really was left with a bunch of questions and a lot of anger towards Kennedy.. she absolutely has no back bone whatsoever. She lets everyone walk all over her.. and it’s like I just kept waiting for her to stand up for herself. But she didn’t.. and I am not sure why.. hopefully in the next book... she will have a backbone and stand up not just for herself but for Rudy too..
I did like a lot of the book but the main character just irritates me.. like I said there alot of potential there.. what I know for sure is someone needs to put Julienne in her place .

I’m ready for book 2 now because I need to know what happened lol. This book has a whole lot of potential, but fell super short for me. Rudy was my favorite character in the book and my heart did actually heart for him. Kennedy I wanted to just slap. She had no backbone and was a doormat for Julianne. And speaking of Julianne, what is her deal? I feel like we didn’t get much of a reason for her animosity toward the seymore boys. I’ll be waiting for book 2 because I want to see how the plot plays out and why?

Omg that cliffhanger though!! I am so glad the next book comes out on January 24th because I am on pins and needles to find out what happens. Them Seymore Boys was my first read by these authors and honestly I'm glad I took the chance. Bully romances are my weakness and this one had all the bully satisfaction my heart needed. I found the plot to be very engaging and kept my interest well. I devoured this book in 2 days! It had plenty of drama, angst, and mystery. I was here for the plot twists all day long. I love when a book can keep me guessing and this one sure did. I also really liked this story tapped in on some forbidden romance. I already got the impression it was a slow burn before confirming it was, so adding in that forbidden vibe just added that spark you needed to keep interest. I also found all the characters to be engaging and even if I didn't necessarily care for all of them they was interesting enough to keep my interest. If I had any complaints at all it would be a times I found the story a little slow but it is a young adult book which I don't delve into too often so that's to be expected.

Kennedy I found to be relatable but at times I struggled with her character as well. I like my heroines to usually be more strong willed and fiesty. Have a little more confidence and will to stand up for themselves. I'm not saying she didn't have her sassy moments at times she did. But alot of the book I found myself wanting to shake her for being so naive and almost a doormat. She let Julianne walk all over her too much. She held back to many times, and or let too much slide when I felt she should have stood up for herself. I seen her reasoning for being some of the way she was but I do truly hope she gets a little more fire in her this next book. She has loads of potential as heroine it would be a waste to not see her full potential. Or for her to evolve a little more maturity and strength as a character in book two!

*4 STARS*
This was a good start to a series. Definitely left me with enough questions and mystery to be interested in reading and see where book two goes. If you like milder, mysterious and more YA stylish books I would recommend picking this one up.

I am going to go ahead and warn you that you are going to close this book and want the second one right away. I so enjoyed this book but man oh man do I have some serious questions that I need answers to now. I don't think I have ever closed a book with this many questions in my head. Rudy is going to steal your heart. There is just no way around it and your going to also feel the emotions he does and he might just break your heart. I know mine broke for him a few times. Kennedy, ugh Kennedy, this is the reason this book wasn't a five star read for me. I wanted to just smack her up the side of the head more times than I can count. This is a character that is just basically a doormat. I wanted her to stand up to Julianne so badly that I couldn't stand it but she never ever would and I just couldn't stand that. And in Julianne lies most of my questions. I don't really even know why she couldn't stand the Seymore boys and that is a pretty big thing to leave out of a book. Readers like to know why their characters feel the way they do so they can relate and feel for them too. So as I said a lot of questions and I sure hope the second book answers these questions.

She was once accepting of everything Julianne said and questioned nothing. They were best friends the four of them it was as simple as that.

But then the truth in a lie was discovered and only then did she began to see what had always been infront of her.

The Seymore boys always gave as good as they got. An eye for an eye except for one who was shielded.

But then everything changes ....

This is the first book in a new series and by the end of it you will be desperate for more more more!

It starts out slow and gentle, but soon the pace increases and the action comes from all directions. The hits keep coming constantly and you never quite know what's going to happen next.

Vengeance is in the air. Pranks and destruction follow not far behind. It's bedlam!

Kennedy does have a good heart, she just lacks the ability to stand up for herself and be true to her feelings.

The boys are each very different with varying skills and mindsets but they work together to create a united front. They might not be blood related but they are brothers in all sence of the word.

Savannah Rose has given this book a true Romeo & Juliet feel, and I for one thoroughly enjoyed the chaos surrounding what shouldn't be.

I'm giving this 4.5 stars instead of five merely because of the slow start.

Think Mean Girls Regina George On Steroids Versus The Seymores Bros

Kennedy, Julianne, Joan & Macey
They are all best friends, and like “Mean Girls” Julianne is the Regina George of the group.

Then you have Rudy, Bradley, Chris, and Gavin, AKA The Seymores.
They consider themselves brothers even though none of them are related by blood.
That’s because they are all in The foster system, being raised by Mr Seymore .
This is something he has done for years.
Bringing troubled boys into his home and caring for them and give them an education.

However.
It’s their very existence in the community and school that brings out the worst in Julianne.
You see, she hold one of the Seymore boys, Eric, responsible for the disappearance of her friend, and daughter of her maid.
Sabrina Fisher, disappeared nine years previous.

The fact that Sabrina’s battered body is found in the local reservoir, close to the Seymore’s home, has aloud Julianne to propagate a campaign of revenge against ANY boy from the Seymores “family”

So, that’s pretty much how The Girls, headed by the vengeful Julianne stage an ongoing battle of tit-for-tat pranks that verge on the troubling, throughout the school year.

So, when Kennedy, daughter of two motivational speakers, who are hardly ever at home in the million dollar home, starts to develop a little crush, then full blow relationship with Rudy Seymore it doesn’t boded well.

As she and Rudy struggle to keep their attraction for each other a secret from both Julianne and her mean girl gang
AND!
his foster brothers, things go from bad to worse, as the pranks escalate and become more dangerous.

This leads Kennedy to question her “friends” as Julianne becomes more obsessed with the brothers, and also her new relationship with Rudy

Who should she believe?
Who is telling her the truth.?
Can she discover the truth, or will she become another statistic like Sabrina.

LOVED,LOVED, LOVED This book.
The writing is beyond good.
Weather it’s Kennedy’s rambling inner monologue in the boot of a car, or Julianne’s biting one liners, while taking down at Seymore.
Cant wait to start the next instalment.

*ARC received. All opinions are my own*

I thought this was going to be a dark, bully, enemies to lovers book and while it did have those themes running through it (both minus the dark), it was definitely not the way I expected it.

For starters, it was a young adult book. A far cry from the adult erotica that I'm so used to reading so naturally the kids in this story just seemed like... kids. Juvenile, silly and childish.

The pacing was so slow in the first 50% of the book, I literally stopped for a while and questioned myself if I should continue it. Nothing substantial happened; bitchy words, pranks, retaliation for half the book on repeat. It gets old fast. However, if you're brave and get past it, the story does thankfully pick up and take a much stronger grip on the plot and in-turn makes it an enjoyable read.

The character development is little to none. You're just left with so many questions. Still barely knowing anything about the Seymour brothers and having this being the first book, I wish there was more for me to have gotten hooked onto. Instead the 'bullying' themes take the centre stage and leave room for little else.

A decent start to book one. Not sure if it's enough for me to pick up book two in the future.

After reading Them Seymore Boys, I am conflicted about how I feel about this book. This was a YA novel filled with everyday drama you hear about in high school. It had a very Mean Girls vibe about it. Kennedy is a rich girl who hangs out with the mean girls clique. The leader of the group, Julianne, thinks she's above and beyond everyone and Kennedy is slowly starting to see through her. She's tired of the way her friend goes after The Seymore Boys, a group of boys fostered by the same person, but knows that if she confronts her friend, the girl would make her life miserable, so she's conflicted.
Kennedy is slowly realizing that there's more to the Seymore Boys than the rumors spread, and finds herself attracted to Rudy Seymore. Stolen moments and secret meetings have these two getting closer and Kennedy finds herself falling for Rudy. What happens when Kennedy's friends go too far and keep setting her up to make it look like she has a vendetta against them when she really hasn't done anything? This book did leave with a bit of a cliffhanger so now I'm waiting for the next book.

3.5 stars! Interesting.....

Them Seymore Boys by Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates it's a teen/young adult story set in High School, in our characters' Senior year most precisely, describing friendships and feuds, opposite sides, protagonisms, love, lies and hidden truths, games and make believe, honesty, loyalty, deceit and betrayal. This is a very well executed plot mainly directed to teens, I would say young readers at high school age and parents as well (which it's not my case but I enjoyed it nevertheless) - a good tale of friendship, machinations and love. If people are expecting a dark high school bully romance, this is not it - it has elements of bullying, not in a traditional way and addresses parenting neglect. There were aspects of the story that I wasn't able to connect (hence my rating), namely Kenned's backbone, or lack thereof, concerning her friendships: for a 17 or 18 year old being assured of Julianne's schemes, she was unable to call her on it and really being herself around the girls.
This is not a standalone, so we'll have to wait for future develepments and now I absolutely want to know what comes next.

Wow I did not expect this book to grip me like it did but by 25% I couldn't put it down. What a ride. Full of twists and turns. Lots of drama and very engaging. Bully romances aren't my usual go to but that had me hook line and sinker. I loved the rivaly between the 2 groups and the blossoming romance between Kennedy and her man, it all gave me definate Romeo and Juliet feels. Cant wait for the next one to see where its going to go.

This was my first read by both authors and it was pretty good. It started a little slow at first but it did pick up fairly quickly it is a bully romance with a interesting twist this story is full of drama lies secrets manipulation everything you come to expect with these types of stories . I loved the plot twist I wasn’t expecting it there’s some light steam more of a slow burn in the romance department overall a great read it does end on a cliffhanger it’s not too bad but does leave you guessing or wondering. Definitely looking forward to the next book .

What a great start and I can't wait to read the next two books! I definitely have a weakness for a good enemies/bully story and throw in a little mean girls clique and you have my complete attention. I think the author did a great job developing the story and the characters and giving the reader a great opportunity to become attached to characters and develop a great dislike towards some too. I sat down just ready to read a little and then boom the whole book later - prepare to devour this read.

Book two now please????

This was an enjoyable read if a little too ‘Mean Girls’ for me at times. We have Kennedy, who I sort of love to hate at times. She’s equal parts things I love... a runner, interested in cars, interested in Rudy Seymore, plays the guitar, wants to dig up info on her own, wants to wear the clothes she likes and spend time outside and enjoy nature. Yet on the flipside, this girl has no backbone and is so easily manipulated by her toxic friend group and either doesn’t see what is happening right in front of her or just doesn’t have the ovaries to open her trap. Those friends? Total Regina George material... Irredeemable I’m thinking. Then you have the Seymore boys. Rudy, Bradley, Chris and Gary. Rudy has hearts in his eyes for Kennedy and now these two are magnets drawn toward each other. Bradley is the wild card here and the one I feel like I know the least about. Chris and Gary are solely on the side of bury the Mean Girls. It’s anyone’s guess how this war is going to play out. I will definitely come back for book 2 because I need answers, but if Kennedy doesn’t grow a backbone, I might have to reach in the page and slap a girl...

Holy heck this book! This is the first one that I have read by these authors and it will not be the last. I absolutely loved it. I love Kennedy and how she views things. She knows that picking on the Seymore boys is wrong but doesn't know how to stop what has been in motion for years. But I love how she quietly rebels against the school's Queen Bee by the way she dresses and how she talks. There is something seriously wrong with Julianne, and I am curious to see if my theories are correct. I love how Rudy and Kennedy defy expectations and start falling for each other. They are trying to stop the madness, but get stuck further into it. The ending is killer and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I liked this premise and chose to read this book based on it. I thought it was good though not as good as I hoped. The main character did hold my attention. She was the riveting character needed ro pull of the necessary actions to make them believable. I think it was just something about her character which grated on me. The rest of the story was pretty good.

Kennedy is a popular girl who ends up in the middle of a war with the Seymore boys because of her best friend. What will happen when she learns the truth as to why the Seymore Boys and Julianne hate each other? What will happen when sparks fly between her and one of the brothers? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, emotion and steam. Plenty of twists and turns and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Promising premise -- elite girls against discredited, poor hero clan -- and some intrigue. Unfortunately, I could not connect with the story or the timing of its unfolding. And while I could connect with the heroine, I wasn't committed to her. The story did not take off soon enough for me.

Don't Judge People You Really Don't Know...them Seymore Boys....Interesting...Hmmm
by CathyHannah

Have you ever been a part of a group but you didn't really feel a part that is how I describe Kennedy Lane. Kennedy her friends, as much as you can have friends in high school, Julianne, Macy and Joan are at camp Wytipo in Texas. As the story begins this group and a group of young guys are getting ready to have a seance. Julianne is what you call the head girl in charge. The girls followed her lead or at least they pretended too. Julianne is trying to convince the rest of the group that this group of Foster boys have something to do with a girl's disappearance, Kitty May. Kennedy is basically the narrated of the story. She is the only child of Angela and Deforest Lane. They have wealth, but to keep their wealth they do tours where they go around promoting their books on how to do different things and one of them was how to raise a child and then a teenager. Because they left her months at a time because they were on the road all the time. Then there is Rudy Seymore who is part of a group of young men who are being fostered by a man named Jason Seymore. There were four of them that are at least introduced in this part one of this series. There is Bradley, Chris, Gary and Rudy Seymore. They are troubled young men that Jason Seymore takes in to help foster them and help them through the trouble that brought them to him, mostly they were not wanted. Julianne and her group, Macy, Joan, and of course Kennedy have this idea, at least according to Julianne, the leader, "A United Front commands respect". Julianne demands that there group form a United Front. Actually the leader of this group, Julianne is actually a rich, snob who thinks she is entitled to treat people she doesn't like any kind of way, she is a bully. This is their last year of high school and Kennedy doesn't want to rock the boat. She and her parents came to Star Line, Texas from the bay area of California. This book was good, but the more I read the angrier I got about Julianne being a bully and her friends basically cosigning to her bad behavior. I definitely have already pre-ordered the second book because the first one is a cliff hanger and definitely, one I did not see coming. It is a new and different series for me to read. I usually read mafia stories or romantic stories and mysteries. Basically I will see a book and read it on ARC sometimes and it will introduce me to an author I don't know and I decide sometimes to get their other books or some I only give one chance. Savannah Rose gets a second chance because this a two part series and I am purchasing this book so we will see what happens. I would recommend this book. It proved to be a different type of book for me.

Wow this story wasn't what I was expecting in a great way. Completely different bully book. So The Seymore boys are Foster boys that were adopted by Mr. Seymore. They are kind of at war with a group from school and our FMC finds her self stuck in this war since she moved to the town and school.

The new girl a few years ago happy for friends she now finds herself questioning everything as it escalates. Wondering why she's even in this war, why anyone is in fact and who started it and why her best friend hates these boys so much. She questions why she's going along with these things and what motives of her friends are.

It really takes you back to what its like to be in high school except  a little more extreme. Our FMC absentee parents and is alone most of the time. And  keeps getting sucked into her friend even though she sympathizes with the Seymore boys. Especially the one she has a crush on. She discovers that a big rumor that her best friend is spreading is false and that she's being lied to and it makes her see this friend in a different light. So there is a lot at play. This book is really layered, its dealing with friendships and analyzing motives. Is she scared of hers friends? One friend? Will they turn on her? Or are her friends right all along? Are the guys not what they seem? Are they more dangerous?

There's a lot of powerful themes in this book it just takes the bully genre and knocks it completely around. With layers and depth of the friendships and motivations being examined as well as what it's like to be a teenager in these situations. This is one where characthers act as teenagers. It is well done and has you questioning everything character.

There's a great quote in the book about standing by when you know something is wrong and not doing anything and our FMC is finding that strength. There is a great cliffhanger, it's not too bad but it leaves you wondering why it happpened and what's about to happen next. And wanting to know more about the Seymoreboys. Luckily the next book comes out in a few weeks.

Them Seymore Boys appears to be a standalone, but clearly is part of a series with the ending. There is no mention whatsoever about this being a series, either on the cover or inside the book, so that was unexpected. It is not your typical bully romance, as there is a twist on it. This book was quite refreshing as the authors changed up the storyline so that you don't see the plot twist coming, but I want to strangle the main character for her meek mannerisms.

From the outside Kennedy appears to be your typical rich girl with her prim and proper friends, but upon closer inspection, things are not as they seem. Kennedy follows the direction of her friends because life is much easier when staying on Juliannes good side. She really has no backbone at all and is just a follower, which is quite frustrating. Her friend and leader, Julianne, is a true master manipulater in situations to benefit herself and be damned whoever she hurts in the process. There is a clear rivalry and bullying between Julianne and the Seymore Boys, but Kennedy starts to question things as she digs a little deeper to find the truth.

The waters starts to get muddy when an unexpected attraction takes root with Kennedy and one of the boys. What they have is a delicate thing and would shatter if anything negative were to happen. Just how long can they keep this to themselves without outside interference? Things would surely go from bad to worse if word of their relationship were to get around. But who is at fault when the pieces fall? Who is truly right or wrong in this war? Can Kennedy believe everything she sees and hears?

This was actually a 3.5 rating because I enjoyed this book although it wasn’t necessarily what I was expecting. I didn’t think this book would be set in high school and I’m not sure if I would’ve picked it up if I did. If you thrive on drama and didn’t completely hate your high school experience, this book is definitely for you. There is plenty of rivalry, secrecy, manipulation, and drama and I’m intrigued to see where the story goes. This book reminded me a lot of Mean Girls with a star crossed lovers vibe.
Kennedy was a relatable character who was at war with herself under peer pressure and doing what she knew was right. I really wish she would have stood up for herself though because her friendship was extremely toxic. I knew quite a few Julianne’s and Macy’s back in high school and I honestly don’t miss their type- if only you could slap a few fictional characters through the pages. I wish we would have had some chapters from Rudy’s POV to learn more of what the Seymore’s are actually like, to see the whole rivalry from his side, and learn what made him have a soft spot for Kennedy.
As horrible as it might sound, this book reminded me why I hated high school so much. I loved the stolen moments between Kennedy and Rudy- they made the book worth reading just to keep rooting for them. I thought this book was going to be a reverse harem and it still might become one, but it’s extremely slow burn with a YA feel to it.

‘Them Seymore Boys’ puts a spin on a bully romance story. Julianne is the bully of bullys. She’s a narcissist borderline sociopath. She keeps her friends in line by bullying them as well with her caustic words, lies, using them as pawns in her schemes of bullying the Seymore boys without their knowledge, and only copping to the fact afterwards. All of her so called friends most likely don’t like her but are rather afraid of her. Kennedy the protagonist of the story is constantly looking to not rock the boat with Julianne that she becomes the silent bully. I wish the girl would finally stand up to her, call her out on her lies publicly and be done with her. It’s sad because she has no self worth due to having an invisible parents, that care only about fame, making money and using their daughter to achieve more than being actual parents. The kids with all the privilege are so fundamentally damaged it’s just beyond. The end is left with a cliffhanger that doesn’t surprise me. I would have thought it happen a little sooner. What is to happen to Kennedy? Will she end up like all rumors of girls before or will a big change happen? I guess we’ll have to wait and see in the next book. Albeit the downsides to the characters, the story is well written with intrigue, drama, romance and lots of bullying of everyone.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Them Seymore Boys by Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates is narrated from the perspective of Kennedy who is friends with girls that are reminiscent of The Plastics from Mean Girls. This story follows Kennedy as she navigates high school, friendships, romance and the Seymore boys.

I think that the authors did a really good job at making Kennedy a character who can be loved, hated or even both. I absolutely hated Kennedy and on more than one occasion I wanted to smack her up the face. Kennedy is an awful person who bullies and harass others because her friends think it’s fun to do. Throughout the story I noticed that she started to see her actions as being awful and there were times when I thought that she was going to change but she never did grow a backbone. Her friends Macy, Joan and their ringleader Julianne are just as awful as Kennedy if not worse.

I would really love to learn more about the Seymore boys especially Bradley, Chris and Gary because I found them to be very intriguing. I found Kennedy and Rudy to be very cute together but I definitely think that he deserves a lot better.

This was a well written book with an interesting storyline, some hilarious pranks and smoking hot Seymores. I can’t wait to see what happens next especially after that cliffhanger.

I recieved an advanced copy for free, and this is my honest opinion.

This book dragged me in from reading the blurb, however when I started reading it, I just couldn't connect to the story or the characters, it seemed to be going on forever in the first half, then it became a bit predictable, kind of Romeo and Juliette and Mean Girls story twisted. I was expecting dark enemies to lovers sort of book, but this was more YA than I expected. I love YA but was definitely thinking this story would go in a different direction. The story will continue on book 2, so hopefully, it will start pacing it up and we get more plot and a bit of more character development.

Well what can I say the seymore boys I really enjoyed but OMG I wanted to shake Kennedy and say wake up and smell the roses please and stand up for yourself. Kennedy is stuck in between two groups that are at war So to speak you have her friends and then the seymore boys. Julianne is out for revenge against the seymore boy and if you get pulled into it’s not going to end well. As Kennedy is starting to find out I think she just wants to belong but even though things are starting to get worst for Kennedy she still finds a reason to explain why they are doing all the pranks.

The story has betrayed, lies , hurt and humiliation by the bucket load and the games they are playing are starting to get worst someone is going to get hurt. I think Kennedy needs to be more worried about what her friends are capable of as I think they are more dangerous than the seymore boys.

I can’t wait for the second book and I hope Kennedy character starts to stand up for herself and gets a backbone instead off letting everyone walk all over.

Ok so I had to sleep on my review for this book. I had so many questions left answered. Good ending left me desperately searching my when the next book is due out.

Kennedy is naive and lonely and too easy to lease but when she stick up for herself she is amazing. We need more of that self of her to come out. Wish she didn’t feel like she had to be friends with Julianne, Joan and Macy who are total waste of spaces and literally make my blood boil 🤬.

Rudy is my favourite he has such a kind abs hidden side just wish he could break apart from his brothers

The rest of Seymore brothers I cannot stand they just go with the flow and it annoys me.

Julianne she is up to so much more than she lets on and has some real psychotic tendencies she needs professional help.

That ending 😱I hope all is what not what they wanted you to believe because I will be heartbroken.

Congratulations Savannah Rose it is 5⭐️ reading.

Them Seymore Boys was a different spin on the school bully book or i thought so. Julianne (Kennedy' FMC friend) is on a one woman crusade to make the Seymore boys (a group of foster boys) lives a living hell (which we dont find out why she has it in for them??). In retaliation they get their own back on her own group including Kennedy. Its a tit for tat situation between all of them

I genuinely loved Kennedy but i was holding out hope for the majority of this book that she would stand up to Julianne and her minions. To call her out on the things she was doing. It was disappointing that that didnt happen. I liked the Romeo & Juliet kind of romance Kennedy & Rudy had. As his foster brothers and Kennedy's friends didnt want to see them together.

Things escalate are theyre both caught up in the middle of all of it. Which brings things to a head with that knockout ending. Its a cracking read. Bring on book 2 now
