'The First Time' is a contemporary fiction that follows Raghav, a young Startup Entrepreneur, who has put a lot on stake to build his venture.
Through his story the author touches upon the personal and financial challenges and hardships of an entrepreneur and what it takes to successfully build a brand and run a company.
This book will definitely prove to be valuable to all those who want to create something valuable of their own and are looking for some guidance. I'm not sure I really learnt much from this book. I personally found this knowledgeable and quite interesting and I enjoyed reading about Raghav's journey, his love story, his struggles and found it relatable but ultimately I didn't have any real takeaways.
Through his story the author touches upon the personal and financial challenges and hardships of an entrepreneur and what it takes to successfully build a brand and run a company.
This book will definitely prove to be valuable to all those who want to create something valuable of their own and are looking for some guidance. I'm not sure I really learnt much from this book. The First Time by Author Pawas Jain is all about Raghav and the way he is trying to deal with business, relationship pressure, financial crises all at one time. The story revolves around a new start-up and something that I felt many of young generation today can relate.
I liked how the story progresses in fast pace and well narrated. It's interesting to read about the whole struggle that we can relate to every event.
I strongly felt the connection with the characters and events.
My favourite prose from story-
"The healing begins Only when you know the hurt It’s deep down inside, If you know the dirt"
What I liked is
The cover is very artistic and well suitable.
Use of quote or short proses before every chapter.
The character development is commendable.
Language used is simple, story is perfect page turner and engaging.
I'll recommend this book to those who like to read relatable story that's relatable to our life.

The first time is a story of Raghav who steps into the field of business leaving his well paid off job to fulfill his dream to become an entrepreneur. With creativity and loyalty, he starts his firm with Disha in Jaipur. To know whether he has made into the market or had to succumb to ego clashes and mind games of the investors, one must read the story.
To begin with, though the title is simple, it is apt for the story but I felt the cover could have been more attractive. The plot is good but the narration is what made it a five star read. The struggle of an entrepreneur involving the employees who stand by as well as the one who leave for better options, every single detail is narrated so well making the story seem real. I loved the characterization too especially Disha, Riya and Rahul, they were brilliant making the ending very beautiful. Ending of the story is one of my favorite part in the story and to add to it I loved the conversations between Dakshi and Raghav in Varanasi. They were very motivating.
"You won't find the girl if you stop looking for her", is one of my favorite lines from the story.
"City of dreams
Or the dreams of a city
You come to her arms
At the time of pity"
Such lines can be found at the beginning of every chapter and they are so beautifully connected with the part.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and I would recommend it to everyone who love reading fiction and to aspiring entrepreneurs, there are quite a few good takeaways from the decisions Raghav took.

The story is about an entrepreneur Raghav who has given up his high paying job and ventured into a startup and has put everything at stake to make it successful. But is it so easy to set up a startup company and make it successful?
Although Raghav had put his best foot forward for his company he too suffers from the struggles of managing a startup company just like anybody else. With the funds drying up, increasing pressure from the investors, the requirement to raise more funds and looking out for the best offers and opportunities for the company Raghav is in a dilemma whether his company is worth the sacrifices he made in his life?
Will he achieve success with his company or woo he succumb to the pressure mounting on him? Will he destroy his relationships because of his dreams? These can be answered only if you read the book.
The author very nicely explained the struggles and challenges of an entrepreneur from setting up a company till he achieves what he dreams to be. This book gives us the reality of the startup world and how some people stand by the principles and ethics of the company till the end and how many are opportunistic. Stories of Ratan Tata , Steve jobs, bill gates and other business tycoons always inspired us and made us thought having an own business. But we all know that business have and twisting factor called "risk". This factor is takes at stake whatever an individual have and Raghav was ready for it mentally. He quit his well paid and pursue his dream of start up. He gave his day night to this start -up and pushing up all his limits . However he came to stage where he have to put everything on stake. Now what will he do?

I like the concept of the book its very refreshing and something I have never read before.
The character of Raghav is well crafted and dimensional. I liked how he overcame the various challenges that came on his way. I found the story very inspiring and one can learn various lessons from it. This book also sheds light on the various sacrifices and challenges that are faced by entrepreneurs.
I also liked that the author included inspirational quotes before the starting of the each chapter. My favorite one was " Dreams that were big, And bigger was the leap Rightly said, ‘As you sow, So shall you reap.’ "
This is one of the most realistic that I have read. If you are thinking to have a start up than you should definitely give this a try. The cover art is good and unique. The title is well justified.

The First Time by Pawas Jain is a book that I like to recommend to aspiring entrepreneurs as it has great info about start-up establishment.
The main character of the story is Raghav who is in his late twenties and has a chartered accountant degree. He is a Jaipur born guy and has started his adtech start-up VigyaPun. He has a small team and soon they opened their office in New Delhi and planning to expand to South India. One of his co-worker Disha just had a breakup. This made Raghav to think will his relationship suffer because of his successful start-up dream?
As Raghav had to manage the business development for the UK unit, will he go to London leaving his years old relationship with Kanika behind?
As this book revolves around the start-up journey and relationship so it was a great combo while reading. I enjoyed reading this book. Language of the book is easy to follow so beginners could also enjoy this. Cover photo is nice and title of the book is suitable. If you are looking for a light read then go ahead with this book.

This is the story of Raghav and his startup, and the the ups and downs!
The story is relatable and the way the author narrated all the situations and the struggle through the main character of the story, is jus awesome!
Its a story of dreams, smuggle and also love.
Will Raghav be able to survive in this journey.
I loved the title of the story, its really good with the content.
The language is lucid.
And I also loved the strong relatable characters, the readers can easily relate with them.
The cover is so creative and beautiful!

The first time is a story of Raghav, who gives up his job to complete his dream... to become an entrepreneur. With small chapters and lucid narration the story moves smoothly forward and we learn about the hardships Raghav and his colleagues has to face. From losing the funding to people backing off from his company everything that a new business has to face was conveyed amazingly.
The story was good but the narration of the story was what kept me glued to the book, it was simple and there were not too many complex words. I loved how the author showed the reality of life, that some people will be with you no matter what and others are just a small part of life, they come and go.... All in all I enjoyed reading this book. If you're thinking about starting your business or even want some knowledge of how it works this will be a good read for you!

The first time is a book about an aspirant guy named Ragav who desires to build up his own venture.
Raghav is a CA by profession but desires to start up his own business. Wherein he needs funding all through every hardworking and supporting staffs he makes things possible and makes him Into his own the best.
The attitude that Raghav had, his nature towards his colleagues, his relations with with his staff all was balanced by him.
One of must read books for this generation as we need such people who can work on a dream and make it come true by walking into varied stages of life and balancing everything at once.
Reading this book one will definitely get an inspiration.

The book is an easy read, perfect for a stressful day or when you’re on a holiday. Raghav’s story is quite relatable specially for us millennials. The struggle with entrepreneurship, relationships, friendships, work culture everything feels real. One of the best things about the book is that it makes you confront failure, the one thing we all fear but reading about it in such a relatable scenario not only pushes one out of their comfort zone but also helps cope with the inevitable struggles. Highly recommended.
