Mandi is the queen of no-fuss cooking, so you’ll find meals that come together fast, along with tons of easy one-pot dinners that help you cut down on dishes. With this inspired collection, you’ll be heating up your tortillas, firing up the grill, cracking a beer (or shaking a margarita!) and enjoying the very best of Tex-Mex cooking.
I love Mandi’s poblano chili from her website (I literally will not make another chili recipe) and was excited for this cookbook! Her recipes are truly the best for cooks at all levels (leaning toward beginner because they’re so simple). I would make every single recipe. My one issue is that some of them are a bit too simple for me personally (like meals I wouldn’t NEED a recipe to make). Overall, totally worth buying.
I cannot cook at all, but I’ve been trying to take some of the load off my husband who cooks every meal. The recipes here are pretty easy for a novice cook to tackle and have a lot of flavor. Definitely my new go to for weeknight meals. My rule for buying cookbooks is I have to want to make at least half the recipes and with the Tex Mex Table I will make 90% of them. Really glad I stumbled across this one.
Every taco recipe in this book is fabulous! I saw online a great idea for stand up tacos in a small pan with just the cheese and meat and heat until the cheese melts, it was perfect set up for less messy tacos!
