I’ve read Asghar’s RHCSA certification guide since RHEL 7, he’s got an excellent understanding of how the RedHat Linux Operating System works, plus the level of skill needed to pass the RHCSA exam.
This guide, as with the previous versions, captures all the RHCSA exam objectives/topics - this gives the reader the complete picture of what to expect in the exam.
The author’s approach of providing hands-on exercises at the end of each chapter is also great - it ‘forces’ you to try them out yourself - essentially helping you better prepare for the exam, which is of course, a hands-on exam with no multiple choice questions.
The practice exam at the end of the book gives you an idea of what is expected in the actual exam - the depth of knowledge required etc.
For a Linux expert, he’s a good writer too :), doesn’t bore you with so much unneeded information.
