This is the eighth volume of the original anthology series that Roy Torgeson edited in the 1970s-1980s. It has a good novelette by Tanith Lee, a punchy short Mike Resnick piece, one of Margaret St. Clair's last stories, a good Barry N. Malzberg, and a curious R.A. Lafferty that has some fun with Isaac Asimov's Laws of Robotics. My favorite story was a novella by Orson Scott Card, Hart's Hope.
