Scandal is the fourth book in the 99 Daddies series, featuring a new couple finding love and recurring characters lending support. This was an interesting read, not really because of the “scandals,” but because of the intellectual and emotional situations the characters are experiencing. There are body issues, sex-shaming issues, and horrible parent issues they each need to address and resolve, if possible. And these are mostly kept right between Porter and Decla

I was really looking forward to this book, but I am a little bit disappointed.
First of all I did not like the actions Declan took as a reporter. There was not even a story there. It make me dislike him.
Then there was this relationship, which developed so sudden, that I did not see it coming at all. There was no development at all. I liked porter as a character but in the end it was really not that good.

In this 4th book of the 99 Daddies series, we get to meet Porter and Declan. Porter has two is the squeaky clean, mayor's chief of staff and the other is an intense Dom that loves ALL the sex and belongs to a sex club. His main goal in life is to keep these two sides of himself completely separate. Declan is a reporter that can't quite get the big stories but one falls into his lap when he is assigned to write a story about the mayor. Instead of digging up some menial bit of drama ...more
Hands down, my favorite in this amazing series! Romantic, sexy, engaging story with well-rounded and utterly lovable MC’s. Porter is bigger than life, cocky, poised, caring, and self-aware. I was excited to learn more about him and find out why he is the way he is. I loved how he and Declan met, the opposite agendas, and the undeniable attraction. It was such fun to read, even as I wondered how they would overcome the obstacles between them. Not in the least Declan’s journalistic ambitions and s ...more

Another excellent addition to the 99 Daddies series. I was so hyped to read Porter’s story and it lived up to my excitement. Porter is an intriguing character; he’s got his politically serious side, and his kinky BDSM side. I enjoyed the introduction of Declan into his life to throw it into a bit of turmoil. Porter starts to struggle to keep his two sides separate and it’s so very entertaining to watch. But oh boy does it get real when he finally gets to help Declan explore his sexuality. It’s l ...more

Phew. Porter and Declan had some roadblocks in front of them, but they broke those down in spectacular ways. Declan is a reporter who has to make decisions about how far he is willing to go to get the story and become a one reporter. Luckily Declan is not nearly as slimy as other reporters, but he learns some good life lessons here. Porter has always been in control of his life, and having it possibly swerve out of his control makes him reevaluate what is most important. These guys brought out t ...more

Scandal is a great book by Casey Cox. The fourth book in the 99 Daddies series, it's easily read as a standalone.

This tale has a sex scandal for the mayor that leaves Porter trying to help save the mayor's career. Porter himself is a man of two sides. One is the political career man. The other is a member of the BDSM scene. I love the way the two sides are so different, leaving him hiding his kinky side. He definitely struggles with juggling these two sides when Declan enters his life

This is my first book that I read by Casey Cox and I have to say I was not disappointed.

Porter Jones works as the mayors chief of staff. He has ambitions to be the mayor himself one day but for now he make sure he gets the job done. Until one morning as he gets into work the mayor is in a rage because a reporter has wrote a story about something that’s very personal to him that is a violation of his privacy. Porter decides to contact the writer to see if they can talk about this but he is quiet

3.5 stars Porter Jones is the mayor’s chief of staff, good at what he does but he would probably be a better mayor than the current.

Porter isn’t living his true self, splitting his private life from his work. He’s a true Dom and an active member of the kink community. No one can know, it would mean the end of his career, a nightmare.

Declan Davies is a reporter, trying to get higher on the ladder. He has to score something, after finding a pic that will scandalize the mayor, he’s publishing the s

So happy to finally have Porter's story! I've been anticipating it from the start because of how open his character is with he friends about his life.
Porter is the chief of staff for the Mayor and when a scandal hits, he chases the reporter who published it. Declan is not what he was expecting in a lot of ways and it doesn't take long for both men to act on the attraction that they feel.
One of my favourite things about this series is the variety of characters in age, body size, proclivities and

Light BDSM
MC with chronic pain and Scoliosis
Both MCs have troubled pasts (crap ex and crap parents)

Really this would of been a 5 star read but I took off a star for 2 reasons.

1. This does not read as a Daddy book. Yes I know there's many different Daddies. Still Porter does not come across as one at all so if you are into Daddy kink you will be disappointed. This is just a contemporary romance with light BDSM.

2. There ar

Scandal by author Casey Cox is the fourth book in the 99 Daddies series. Though part of a series this book can be read as a standalone title and understood just fine.

This story is told in dual POV which really helps me get into the mindset of both men.

This story has great pacing to it. I didn’t feel anything was too slow or rushed. Also, there is some great subtle humor, I love a love story that can make me smile.

Porter and Declan seem like the most unlikely of lovers, but when you get to know

Scandal is the 4th book in the 99 daddies series but can be easily read as a standalone. I hadn’t read the first 3 books yet and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything important or was thrown into an existing plot.

The story centers around Declan, a reporter who is out to make his name and Porter who has political plans. They come into conflict over Porter’s attempt to save the mayors reputation after Declan exposes a scandal and find out what else he has on him. They have an immediate physic

I was really excited to finally get Porter's story. I was dying to learn more about him- I just knew there was more to him that we saw when he was with Stirling, Steele, and Hudson. Porter was a fabulous character.  Strong, smart, caring, much love to give.  The way he was with Declan right from the start just showcased all these qualities.
To me, the romance was not the main highlight in this book. Dont get me wrong, it was there for sure...Porter and Declan connected, heated

Porter is larger than life and likes to live a good public life whilst hiding who he truly is.
When faced with the consequences of Declan’s actions, Porter is forced to confront him.
Sparks fly from their meeting, but Declan is the enemy and Porter has unique tastes and desires in his partners.

But, the draw is undeniable and as they create a scandal of their own it’s their own unique needs and traits that keep them grounded and together.
This was an okay read for me. There were aspects to the plot

Scandal is my favorite story of Casey’s 99 Daddies series so far! I thought I 'knew' who Porter was & what kind of boy he would go for... so Declan was a wonderful surprise! The main characters both show so much heart & vulnerability that I was rooting for them to reach their 'happily ever after' early on. Casey is so good at building his stories with both deep emotion and humor! My heart truly hurt for both Porter and Declan as they revealed themselves and their pasts. Porter is shown to be such strong and forthright man I'm glad we got to see his softer and caring side. Declan, man what a surprise he was, he sure has some big brass ones on him to do what he did but he was hiding a vulnerability under all those ill fitting suits. I was really shocked at the big twist about Declan and how it would play out. Porter was a compassionate man but sure brought the fire when needed and welded it against Declan to get under his skin. We get a bit of a catch up with oth ...more

A lovely romance story, with lots of twists. The main characters needed a while to come together. That made it not less entertaining at all. The happy ending was sweet but a bit rushed for my taste. Anyhow, the whole story lacked for me of sustainability and authenticy. Many parts were told too easily and without further explanation. While the kink factor comes a bit short, at author's discretion, as well as the Daddy/boy dynamic, I really liked to have introduced a handicapped character. Overal ...more

Scandal is back as the fourth title of the 99 Daddies series. Porter was someone who I was always curious about as far as being the most vocal about what he does with other men. It was the one thing that allowed him to be himself with his friends. But his private life as a Dom and is public reputation working for the Mayor are kept separate. Declan is young and just wants to prove himself to everyone around him. Finally making a break with two major stories that make him into the world that he h ...more

Thoroughly enjoyed this book .
Declan , a reporter , makes big exposing the mayor ruining his career, while Porter tries to save the mayor's career he gets close to Declan.
Worried Declan could expose him as a Dom and kinkster, they have 'off the record discussion'
Porter is just the man Declan is looking for to submit to, but is scared of being rejected.
This book is full of highs and lows for the men and a lot of scandal , as both men come out.
Well worth the read . Can be read as a stand-alone

This book rocks! The fourth in the 99 Daddies series and it’s the best one yet! It’s Porter’s turn and it’s a doozy of a ride! A scandal will rock the Mayor’s office and it’s Porter’s job to handle it. This will put him in contact with reporter Declan Davies. What starts as a professional meeting to deal with that will start them on a journey to love, heartbreak and redemption as they navigate through having both a professional and personal relationship together.

I loved how Casey dealt with chronic pain, I also suffer from this and Casey did a great job. I’ve been wanting Porters story and this didn’t disappoint. So many emotions from pain, humour, loveable and not so loveable characters, some angst and most of all heartwarming. The chemistry between Porter and Declan was combustible I was riveted from the first page to the end. Another book I’d read again.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book for my honest opinions of which I’m under no obligation

Great addition to the series!

I liked this book. I liked Porter and Declan. It had some twists that I didn't see coming regarding Declan. I didn't really like what a hypocrite Declan was in writing the two stories about the mayor and ruining his life when he himself was in the lifestyle and that Porter was also in the lifestyle but that he wasn't going to publish a story about him. However, him feeling like a hypocrite was addressed in the book, and ultimately, I loved how the book ended. I look

Scandal tells the story of Preston and Declan who embark on a light BDSM relationship and how they end up together even though Declan is a reporter and Preston is on the opposite side as the major's chief of staff. The story is sweet and the book is well written. The side characters are well developed and add to the overall enjoyment of the book. I really liked that they helped to show that Kink isn't necessarily a bad thing or something to be ashamed about. ...more

A man that lives two sides of his life have them collide by the most unusual boy. Porter keeps his private and professional life separate but Declan a reporter changes all that and makes them become one. Sometimes you have to be true to yourself to be whole. Declan was perfect boy for Daddy Porter. I loved reading how a boy can become stronger and more confidence and help his Daddy be a better man.

Declan a reporter trying to make a name for himself in the press, came across information that raised questions about the mayor. Porter the chief of staff was authorized to follow up and see if there was anything else that could be dug up.
Let Casey Cox take you on their journey, digging deeper, finding out about being submissive and trying to keep personal and work life separate.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Definitely a daddy-lite, non age play story. Most of the focus is on the building of the relationship and the storyline, it's not just a collection of sex scenes. Touches on elements of BDSM, again, subtle and gentle. Ideal for those who like MM romance and would like an introduction to kink. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review. ...more

Scandal by Casey Cox is the fourth book in the 99 Daddies series.  This is an enemies to lovers MM romance that explores some light Daddy/boy dynsmic, and delivers a sweet and sexy story to readers.  Porter and Declan are great characters and I love their story.  There is a bit of drama/angst, and a lot of fun!

Casey Cox writes MM romance with a New Adult/rom-com twist.

He enjoys spending too much time overanalyzing every single human interaction, reliving the best musical decade of all time (the '90s, obvs) and getting way too meta with book titles.

Casey lives on the east coast of Australia, loves the beach and is the proud paw-rent of two utterly adorable, perfectly-perfect French Bulldogs: Ralphie and
