This series brilliantly combines the magic of finding hidden objects, which was my favorite feature of Highlights magazine as a child, with the power of text that's perfect for beginning readers, delightful illustrations, and simple stories that young children can easily follow. The hidden pictures reinforce letter recognition and repetition. I've been buying up the whole series for my library collection in hopes of passing along the love of Highlights to a new generation.
