What a waste! This was a five book package and I could not even read the first book. Oh the story started out great I was excited to start reading it but about ten pages in the book the foul Language starts. Next the women jumps into bed with her hero the first day she meets him.don't know how this book got so many five stars. So sad that the author makes the man all sound like sex starved foul Language idiots.

Listening to the box set on audio was the bomb. Each book was detailed didn’t repeat too much.. did have a few mispronunciations but overall wasn’t bad. Because the underlying villain was zero tango throughout all of the books - the mystery and intrigue etched up with each book.

I really enjoyed this series.
Boys who have suffered by those that is supposed to love them early in life come together and forge a family. Each one feeling unlovable until they met the one sassy women who shows them what love is.
Each one entered one branch of the military and now after leaving take the world by storm in their own way and forge teams that continue to help others like themselves or those who can't defend themselves. The live hard, work hard and love hard. They are a brotherhood who are loyal, strong and out for revenge if crossed or betrayed.
There is action, hero's, the worst of society, conspiracies and much more.
I highly recommend this series!

12/17/25 Another re-read -
My thoughts are still the same as I expressed the last time I read these - I still love the excitement, the found family that the Battlesons are, and how these extraordinary women are perfectly designed for them. Tee absolutely got it right when she sent the guys to get their loves! I always forget the small details of each story, the intensity of the pulse-pounding dangers in their world, and the absolute heartbreaking reasons each of the guys have, for holding so tightly to eachother!! It always surprises me how attached I get to each couple - every re-read, even though I KNOW what's going to happen! Their steamy chemistry and relationship building keeps me addicted to the pages. I love how strong these women are, and how they form the safety net the BB guys need. This is why I re-read these, as I know I'm assured a great experience, every time. This collection of the first 5 is THE BEST way to enjoy the series. I enjoyed my binge, and look forward to the next 5 books in this series.

I cannot say it enough...
This series is such a well written, engaging read. The characters are ALL great and the community of friendship they built with each other is so good.

5 brothers - if not by blood then by heart - on the outside in charge of a successful business, but regularly carrying out secret and dangerous missions. Four of them are - sort of - introduced to women who are in dangerous situations, but are tough enough to deal with it, and to deal with these alpha heroes with a protector complex. The fifth will have to win back the lady he left years ago. Through all these stories, there is a threat by an outside character who is trying to harm the brothers and their partners, and in each book they get a little closer to find out who it is.
Very well written, and although a bit far-fetched, the characters still came over as quite realistic through what was under their outside macho behaviours, and the female equivalent. All of them fast paced with a lot happening in a very short time, and lots of twists and turns which had me try to read quicker to find out what happens next.
Five stories in one bundle, giving you hours and hours of reading entertainment. I definitely want to know how their stories continue - and who the next ...erm... "victim" of Tee is ;)

I highly recommend this series!
What a fantastic series!
Every book builds on the characters in the previous one. In this book, you'll find brotherhood, loyalty, betrayal, revenge, and some sassy, strong women. There is a lot of strength behind the Alpha heroes in these stories.
All of them went through hell as children, which made them stronger. There is an unbreakable bond between them. All of them had terrible parents, but Apollo's parents took the cake and Kass' father was the worst. What they did to them made me want to ring their necks. Each story has action and conspiracy. Along with a few hot sex scenes. You will not be bored.

Heroes of the heart!
This series is probably one of the best I have ever read. Each of the brothers came from the worst situation a child can grow up in and goes on to become the strong, loyal, protective, brilliant, loving man their woman can not help falling in love with. Not only do they battle an unknown, vicious enemy that is trying to destroy their close brotherhood, but they have to battle their pasts to find their futures with their soul mates.
This series is probably one of the best I have ever read. Twists and Turns
Alpha heroes...check! Twists and turns...check! Surprise endings...check! I was surprised I was able to get through the entire series without getting bored but the characters were interesting, each one totally different yet bonded as a team. If you like books filled with believable action this series is for you. This author is no amateur... She does her research.

No storyline, all porn
I am12% into the series with the main characters in book one having known eachother less than 48 hours. The sex scenes and sexual content has been constant. Maybe 2% has been about the mystery. I can usually read around these sections but it is impossible with this book. If you want full on porn, then this book is for you. As for me, I will move on and find something with more of a storyline.

Mind you, there's language, violence, and sex...
But the heart on these characters and optimism on finding a way back to love even when things go wrong
Each book could easily compete with the top tiers, for writing quality, story crafting, and keeping track of plot across multiple novels
The characters do become like friends, and your heart breaks for them in the hard stuff they go through, yet the hard stuff is what made them who they are

Anna del Mar has proven once again what a Gifted Writer she is, weaving stories within stories within stories and still managing to surprise. The Alpha Heroes as individuals and as a group have SO much to offer and l would Highly Recommend this author and Any of her works Anytime.
Finding out the background of each of these men, how they became a True Brotherhood and how and where they meet the love of their lives is Truly Inspiring.

The writing was very good and the plots were interesting and exciting, BUT, 5 books in a row was too much for me. I'm beginning to dislike series more and more. It took me 12 days to read this series and I almost skipped the last book because I was tired of the same people over and over.
The books are very good, though, but so much child abuse over and over was a lot to take in one lump of reading. One or 2 of these books at a time is enough.

NonStop Action
I really enjoyed these action packed stories of alpha men and the alpha women who loved them. It was especially nice to get to read these stories in a box set - even though each story was a standalone, reading them all together made me appreciate the overall storyline and allowed the author to fully develop each character and a broader all encompassing storyline.

It doesn’t get any better than this !
Alpha males, bent but never broken and the women that love them. Action, strategy, sex, love and the family and extended family most can only dream of. All of this is beautifully brought together in a story that will stay with you, long after the last page.

Each book is filled with action and suspense which builds with book. I gave it a 4 rating due to the excessive number of detail sexual scenes and an increase in offensive language in the last book of this box set ("Kass") .

This series gave me Edge of your seat action, was suspense filled in the nail biting way and written so well. There is some sorrow, lots of love, happiness and fun loving characters. Just a must read kind of series!

Liked all the books in this series. Kept me riveted to my IPad for days as I read them back to back. The suspense just kept coming. Would have given them a lot more stars had more been available.

I enjoyed the series. Can't wait for more. Sometimes i skipped passed some of the sex scenes, but I enjoyed reading about the different couples.
