Elegy of the Void is a perfect title for the last book in the Rift Cycle series. My husband once asked me what elegy meant. He’s not one for literature, so I explained that an elegy can be a lament for a person, idea, or thing. The person writing or speaking the elegy often mourns for something long surrendered to the ether.
