A Refuge Bay Christmas is a truly incredible Christmas story from an amazing author and it is part of the wonderful Men of Refuge Bay series.

We first met Nathan and Og in Nathan Unwrapped when runaway orphan Thrasher unexpectedly came into their lives and hearts. This is their first Christmas as a family but it is not the Christmas they expected. The men of Hope house are truly remarkable people, each have their own reasons for being there and demons to overcome but they all agree that the feist

I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of this book. This review is my honest opinion.

I said I'd be honest, and here it is... I don't really care for M/M romance. Just not my deal. But I read the first book in this series and was surprised that I loved the characters so much I didn't care what kind of romance it was. It was just a great story. So when these amazing characters got their own Christmas story, I knew I was totally in.

This story. To call it a great read

I have to say this is my book by Susan Sax and I wasn't disappointed. I'm disappointed that I didn't' read the first book before I read this one and I was able to follow along without being lost. My heart went out to Thrash even though I don't know her full story, but Nat and Og are wonderful with her and try to put her needs first. All the characters are likable, easy to read with a great story line, romantic, sweet, funny and I once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. ...more

A Refuge Bay Christmas is heartwarming. My heart absolutely went out to the sweet little girl with such a dark past, and it was heartwarming to see how much love she was surrounded with and how much the main cast cared about her. A holiday Hallmark movie in book form, you can't help but fall in love with the cast. Definitely made me interested in the main series and the backstories for the wonderful men involved in this book. ...more

A Refuge Bay Christmas was a beautiful story. Susan Saxx is a new author to me. But the story intrigued me. Now, I want to know more about Refuge Bay.

When you are willing to unconditionally love, you get so much more back. There are a lot of people in this community that are part of planning the best first Christmas ever for Trasher. Nate and Og, were part of the Hope House community. They were a cooperative collaborative independent community that were interded to provide the ultimate emotional support for each other. They worked together. They played together. They planned together. Their quests, their questionss and their quests made for ...more

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texte

This was my first book by Ms. Saxx, but it won't be my last. It was a heartwarming, quirky Christmas tale. I especially liked Mr. Palmer--I hope he gets his own story--he needs it so badly. Good story and characters. Recommend reading and checking out more from this series. ...more

Sharing the Love of Christmas . . .

This is the kind of story that just fills your heart with all kinds of emotions when you see the outpouring of kindness and love in people. Nathan and Og fell in love and that love led them to an adoption of a six-year old runaway child they found at Hope House. With the first Christmas the little girl is sharing with those who love her, never having had a real family, she is having difficulty knowing what to do and what to expect. Having a “forever family” off

I liked the family that Nathan and Og were making with their little, newly adopted daughter, Trasher who was six years old. It was fun watching how they were going to celebrate her first birthday and her first Christmas with them. They wanted to make good memories. It was also sad learning about her past. My anly criticism about the book is I did not like some of the language in the book.
My favorite part of the book was Trasher picking out her first Christmas tree. It was sweet, sad, and beauti

A great book with lots of love amongst all characters

The story is told from the POV of numerous characters. There's a lot of stuff happening in this story but the focus here is on celebrating the first Christmas together with main characters' daughter. I liked how the story was told. I liked how the story did not portray the daughter as a victim who needs pity and sympathy. Instead, there was a lot of love to around amongst all characters. Even the side characters with their own issues was well

Nate and Og now have Trasher with them and they are about to do her first real Christmas. This series is all good vibes and this is no exception. The characters and storyline are terrific, with just the right amount of surprises and twists. They are all precious as they roll out the Christmas traditions. They will never be the same again. Loved the ending and will be rereading this one again.

Christmas comes to Refuge Bay and Hope House as they prepare for Tracker's first Christmas and Palmer Og's boss comes there. A well written story that held my interest throughout. This is a new to me author. I seriously enjoyed this story. There was a lot going on in the story, but the main focus was Nathan and Og and a first Christmas with their daughter. I’ll definitely be looking for more of this story line. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received.

This was an unexpectedly enjoyable read.
The plot and characters were believable and interesting enough to hold my attention. Just like any other couple Nathan and Og want to have a family and a happy Christmas.

Nathan and Og are having their first Christmas with family and friends. They want their first Christmas with their daughter to be perfect but she seems to be sad about something and they have no idea what to do about it. I really enjoyed this book.

Nice, lighthearted holiday story about a couple who want their family to have a wonderful Christmas together.

Nathan and Og met, fell in live and unexpectedly expanded their family by one. Thrash is a six year old little girl who needed a home. With the holidays fast approaching, she struggles with a lot of sadness. Leave it up to her dads to make everything as comfortable as possible. The perfect couple to show their little girl what a happy family and joyous holiday is all about.
