It’s truly one of those “It’s not you, it’s me” kind of moment.
Irressitble Irishman: For St. Patricks’s day for me felt very old school..If old school meant the time when fifty shades of Grey was a sensation. Having enjoyed the 50 Shades of Grey series, I’m not dissing this book.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting this book to turn out the way it did. I read the synopsis and thought “Perfect! Just what I wanted…A steamy, angsty office romance”. Why you ask? Cause the synopsis literally said the same irresistible irishman who the female protagonist had a wild night with ends up being her new boss at her new job. If I knew I was going to end up reading a “Yes Sir” “No, Sir” kind of book, I wouldn’t have picked this up. Like I said, It’s not you, it’s me. I’m a mood reader and I just wasn’t in a mood for this.
Having said that, Do I want a tall Irishman for myself? Why Yes I do.

I am a fan of Jessica Ruben books and this was a great collaboration by those two authors!
The book is a beautifully written steamy contemporary romance, furthermore is a billionaire tale which is fast paced, sexy and romantic!
There was moments that it was really funny and made me smile!
I really liked the fact that Sarah and Beckett had chemistry and their relationship had passion from the start.
Lastly, I would love to read Faith's and Julia's books!

This may have been an “it’s not you, it’s me” thing because I had trouble connecting with the characters. There were elements I usually like with a dominant H and sweet h. He also bulldozes her on making sure she’s taken care of, which I enjoy. This was character focused and told in first person, dual POV.
There was no ow drama but after they had a ONS, the H is with other women before he sees the h again (just mentioned, no details, but he thinks of how he’d thought of the h after which I dislike). There were also more mentions of the H’s sexual past than I prefer. I also felt the main conflict ended up making both main characters more negative than relatable or sympathetic. On the plus side, there are great side characters and multiple extended epilogues, which was great. Although one plot point was easily resolved in the epilogues in a contrived way I thought.

I loved the first book and couldn’t wait to read Beckett’s book. The Irresistible Irishman was a fun, quick and steamy read that I loved.
Beckett is in town for St. Patrick’s Day when he meets Sarah and his friends bar. Well maybe it was more of a set-up, but regardless Beckett was definitely interested, at least for the night because he’d be leaving to go back home.
Sarah was a little thrown off guard when her friend Faith pointed her in the direction of the very sexy Irishman. Sarah has been through so much in the last few years that being with a man was last on her list of things to do. She wanted no part of a relationship. But the sexy man with the even sexier accent did things to her. She decides to take her friends advice and live a little. Do something that she would never in a million years do. Have one heck of a sexy night with Beckett! That night changed Sarah in a way that she never expected but loved the new Sarah. She had confidence a new job and loved life. The one thing she never expected was Beckett to show up again, and to top it all off, find out that he is her boss. And not just her boss, but a man who is determined to spend more time with her, in a way that she never saw coming. And honestly, neither did I.
I loved this story. It was fun and sexy and completely unexpected. I won’t go into detail but will just say that I loved it. The chemistry between Sarah and Beckett from day one was off the charts. She may not have been his type or anything like the women he is usually with, but she was everything he wanted and more. I loved their relationship both in the workplace, as friends and as lovers. They just fit so perfectly, and I think they both brought out the best in each other as well as things that they may not have known about themselves.
The Irresistible Irishman was a quick, fun, steamy read that I loved. We got to see more of the characters that we loved. I loved the relationship between Beckett and his assistant. And Sarah had the best of friends in Faith and Julia. I really hope that we get their story as well. I love this series and look forward to more.

Having recently read The Broody Brit by these authors, I couldn’t wait to read The Irresistible Irishman. The writing was seamless, I have no idea who wrote what or where one author finished and the other picked up. The characters were easy to relate too and I found myself hooked on the story that M.J. Fields and Jessica Ruben wove.
This book had me smiling throughout, I really liked Sarah Golden and Beckett Hawthorne, both separately and especially together. I fell hard and fast for Beckett, he is definitely an alpha, dominant, romantic and not afraid to show his feelings. Sarah was a fun, sassy, strong, determined woman who could hold her own.
There were some laugh out moments that had snort laughing while being passionate, steamy and romantic. Neither Sarah and Beckett were looking for a committed relationship and yet fate has other plans for these two.
The secondary characters were entertaining and this book certainly left me with a smile on my face.

This was a really cute, quick, flirty read and absolutely perfect for St Patrick's Day. Everyone will want their own Irishman by the end of this one. Who can resist a man in a kilt? There wasn't a lot of drama as these two navigate towards each other. Our H is an alpha and when he knows what he wants, he does everything he can to get it, and our h doesn't stand a chance.

This contemporary romance book is definitely for a mature audience as some of the conversations and interactions are explicit. If you enjoy adult content in your read, you will love the debauchery in this story.
Sarah is at a bar on St. Patrick's day with Faith. She might have noticed how much being single sucks, but she was too busy to notice the last two years as she was busting moving, doing self-care, and living smart. Now she is in Holiday Springs. Faith has a surprise for her friend, who apparently has been thru hell and back recently.
The Irishman is tall, off-limits to Faith and her brother's best friend. So he is perfect for Sarah. His name is Beckett, and damn he is swoony. Her friend Faith is very punny and doesn't mince words. Sarah talks like she just got done battling cancer. She is unsure of herself, shy, and scared of intimacy. She is relatively young at about thirty years old. And now she is starting life all over again.
I love the Irish and other saying in native language and translated at the start of the chapters. Beckett is just in town visiting his best friend Raff, Faith's bother, and his son Nathaniel. He is charming and goes slowly with the small talk. Eventually, they make it back to his room, and this book heats up to steamy. He seems to have a kinky side and can't help but imagine things she is not ready for yet.
The one-night stand ends, and they part ways. Then the storytime jumps to a few months later. Sarah has been experiencing an awakening of sorts since she slept with her luck Irish man. She has changed some, and her preferences for clothing and reading material have changed. Beckett is a little stuck on Sarah; he can't help but think about her. Of course, some stuff comes to light, and just wow, the author takes this into different territory. But I personally can't wait to see what happens.
Oh, yikes, I wonder what her response will be. This story is probably the Irish version of 50 Shades of Grey. Mr. Beckett Hawthorne definitely turns the tables on Ms. Golden. Beckett sees himself as a victim of love but isn't agreeable to his feelings or the way his protective instincts want to provide for Sarah.
Now he seems to be chasing Sarah, but what will he truly want with her? This story is rocky, but it does defeat the odds for both love and children. Beckett is a control freak, and Sarah has a stubborn streak; they make a very interesting couple.
This story is hot and heavy but sweet and won't in its own way. I like how the author incorporates a woman who is still recovering from cancer and didn't have the confidence to admit she is damaged goods and brings her so far in the storyline with support, love, and friendship. The story ending with a surrogate and a family is amazing. Wow, did Sarah make considerable strides in her dreamy life. Beckett obviously being a wealthy billionaire has a lot to do with her increased confidence. Still, fairytale romance stories are definitely swoony even with the sizzling, dominant, submissive incorporation.

The Quick and Dirty: An inter-office email brings fantasies to life between an employee and her boss... who she previously had a one-night stand with. 🙈
Sarah is introduced to Beckett on St. Patrick’s Day by a mutual friend and the evening ends with them in bed together. Sarah, a recent cancer survivor, is rejuvenated by her experience with Beckett but thinks of it as nothing more than a spectacular night. When she and a co-worker exchange e-mails about fantasies and the head honcho reads it, she’s promptly called up to meet him, only to realize the new owner of the company is none other than Beckett. Enter a contract à la 50 Shades and a lot of 🔥 between the two. Neither Beckett nor Sarah wanted anything more than a bit of fun until they both catch feelings and neither know what to do. It’s a HEA so you know they end up together but seeing the wrap up was still fun!
This book is the second in a stand alone series and while it was quick and overall fun read, I did have some qualms. While I know the story was meant to be quick and fun, I felt like the character development was overly light so I couldn’t really connect to the characters as I wanted. There were several moments that felt inorganic, cliché or worse, a bit awkward, and transitions between scenes didn’t flow as well as they did in the last book. It all just felt very rushed and I found myself disappointed. I still love the authors and their work overall, this one just wasn’t my favorite.

A comical and uplifting story that will have you enamoured from the very first page!
‘The Irresistible Irishman for St. Patrick’s Day’ is a cute and steamy rom-com co-written by two amazing authors, Jessica Ruben and M.J. Fields, creating an awesome world you want to dive in and never leave.
These two incredibly successful and super talented authors came together and started writing cute rom-com to just lift our spirits all around during these uncertain times and have quickly become a guilty pleasure/ comfort read of mine.
I absolutely love the world of Holiday Springs, it just brings happy vibes and tingles all over my body by embodying everything you can possibly love and crave.
These characters made me laugh way too much, swoon until I could not stop and obsess over their incredible story time and time again.
I must admit, I devoured this book and finished the whole thing in one sitting. That’s how captivating this is.
Beckett is as charming and as dangerously handsome as they come.
A perfect gentleman who knows what he wants and would not stop at anything to get it.
A hot Irishman, a wet dream, a beautiful man that is caring and attentive and SWOON worthy.
Beck will quickly steal your heart and light your panties on fire with his thick accent and domineering attitude.
Sarah is a beautiful, talented and hard working woman that has been through way too much for a lifetime and who deserves the world.
She is an incredible woman that you will fall for way too fast, with her soft and sincere eyes and kind and loving attitude.
Throughout this story you will see her blossom and evolve into an even more beautiful and better version of herself.
She is a sweet and sassy character that will make you dream and wish for your own personal fairytale.
The connection and attraction between Beckett and Sarah is instantaneous and off. the. Charts.
Their incredible passion is palpable but it is their personalities that really pull you in and make you fall for them.
These two characters are so easy to relate to and understand, you easily become too attached for fictional people.

These two incredibly successful and super talented authors came together and started writing cute rom-com to just lift our spirits all around during these uncertain times and have quickly become a guilty pleasure/ comfort read of mine.
I absolutely love the world of Holiday Springs, it just brings happy vibes and tingles all over my body by embodying everything you can possibly love and crave.
These characters made me laugh way too much, swoon until I could not stop and obsess over their incredible story time and time again.
I must admit, I devoured this book and finished the whole thing in one sitting. That’s how captivating this is.
Beckett is as charming and as dangerously handsome as they come.
A perfect gentleman who knows what he wants and would not stop at anything to get it.
A hot Irishman, a wet dream, a beautiful man that is caring and attentive and SWOON worthy.
Beck will quickly steal your heart and light your panties on fire with his thick accent and domineering attitude.
Sarah is a beautiful, talented and hard working woman that has been through way too much for a lifetime and who deserves the world.
She is an incredible woman that you will fall for way too fast, with her soft and sincere eyes and kind and loving attitude.
Throughout this story you will see her blossom and evolve into an even more beautiful and better version of herself.
She is a sweet and sassy character that will make you dream and wish for your own personal fairytale.
The connection and attraction between Beckett and Sarah is instantaneous and off. the. Charts.
Their incredible passion is palpable but it is their personalities that really pull you in and make you fall for them.
These two characters are so easy to relate to and understand, you easily become too attached for fictional people.

5 luck of the Irish stars!!!! I absolutely loved this book. The authors wrote so seamlessly, that you have no idea who wrote what chapter. Sarah and Beckett are the perfect match for each other. Beckett is a hot alpha male, that is literally all work and little play. Sarah is everything Beckett never knew he needed. The chemistry, banter and sexy times between these characters were totally spot on. No matter the circumstances it looked like the universe was subtly trying to tell these two that they belong together. I laughed throughout this book. Such a light hearted read. I loved every minute of it!!!

Even with an orgasm-filled vanilla eve, Beckett cannot seem to get her out of his mind. Upon finding her to be a new employee at his acquired hotel, he sets in motion a way for her to be submissive to his dominant role and grant all her sexual fantasies.

Oh, and did I mention, that this boss is all about being dominant in and out of the boardroom...
Sarah is a cancer survivor who is slowly starting to put her life back together and is working to heal herself completely, mind, body and soul. Her one night with Beckett gives her back the confidence that she was sorely missing, but when he proposes an arrangement between them, Sarah is sure she is nowhere near ready for any sort of a relationship with the sexy Irishman...
Beckett is unapologetically married to his career, and has very little time for traditional relationships. But after his unforgettable time spent with Sarah, Beckett realizes that just one night with her will never be enough, and he sets out to ensure he can have her again... and in every way he can dream up..
This book was sexy and entertaining, and although it was fast paced, did not shirk on the character or plot development. I really enjoyed Sarah and Beckett's chemistry, and the drama within their relationship. While this book implies that the sex between Sarah and Beckett is kinky and on the adventurous side, the steamier moments seem to be mostly left off the page.

My first thoughts after finishing The Irresistible Irishman by MJ Fields and Jessica Ruben...OMG, Beckett and Sarah have INSANE chemistry....and, I NEED to find me an Irishman, NOW!!! This book pushed ALLLLLL my buttons and had me laughing, swooning, hot and bothered, emotional, falling head-over-heels in love with not only Sarah and Beckett, but Faith and Julia as well *nudging Ms. Fields and Ms. Ruben because I NEED their stories ASAP*
Not since that infamous trilogy with a certain billionaire dominant and his submissive has a story captured my imagination! This one is not quite as descriptive, much of the BDSM play is left to your own imagination, but it IS there....and I LOVED IT!!!
As for the emotion and angst, it's not to the degree of rip-your-heart-out-and-stomp-on-it, but Sarah's back-story had me tearing up and made me root for her with everything in me. Sarah is so feisty and loving and she's the type of character that I want as my BFF! Beckett is flat-out sex-on-a-stick, but he has a heart as big as the ocean!
All-in-all, this book is a steamfest with soooooo much heart! I highly recommend this MUST READ book that can definitely be read as a standalone....but you really need to read The Broody Brit for Christmas...Raff and Nikki (and Nate!!!) will absolutely steal your heart!!!

This novel is a fast paced office/billionare romance with a determined Irishman named Beckett. He's the example of a confident, dominant and a straightforward man. He gets what he wants. The scene where he's talking about his wedding and honeymoon (chapter 20) definitely made me go "omgg😂 woww" and cheer "Go Beckett!"
Sarah is the FMC here and she's great. With her past situation but current thoughts, she never believed that she too would love. She's a great bestfriend to both Julia and Faith.
This story borderlines on the submissive and dominant sexual nature but in a healthy and fun environment. This book was funny, made me smile, had passion and had chemistry. The main turn of events situation didn't give the desired impact but wasn't what I was expecting too. I really really loved how we get a lot of POVs from Beckett and that both of them are from different religious backgrounds.
I'm definitely waiting for read Faith and Julia's book!!

I was excited for The Irresistible Irishman and let me say this book was everything I expected and so much more. M.J Fields and Jessica Ruben work so well together, you have no idea who writes what or where one author finishes and the other takes over, this is a sure sign of perfect writing duo.
If you are looking for an entertaining read that will have you smiling throughout look no further than Sarah Golden and Beckett Hawthorne’s romance. This couple are so easy to love, she is a fun, sassy, determined woman and he is a seriously hot, alpha male, as individuals you will love them but when they come together their romance hits a whole nother level and I fell hook, line and sinker for them and their story. Fate seems destined on pushing this couple together, neither are looking for a long term relationship but you can’t always control your heart and when fate goes all out, sparks start to fly in this entertaining romance. This book ticked all my boxes, I laughed, I giggled and I smiled as I got to know this adorable couple, I swooned and I sighed as I joined their journey, so I guess all I need to say is please one this gem of read. Great job ladies and I’m looking forward to more from you

There is no thought as to when I see a new release from MJ Fields. It is always an automatic purchase. Her books are that good. The Irresistible Irishman is no exception. From the beginning you know it was going to be HOT. The chemistry between Beckett and Sarah is through the roof. From their first encounter at the bar you knew these two would burn up the sheets. Both of them knew that it was only a one-night stand and feelings would not get involved. Sarah, because of her past, was not looking for anything. But sometimes things don’t always go according to plan. She never thought she would see Beckett again but when he turns out to be the owner of the hotel she now works at things are different. Beckett is a workaholic. He is married to his job. He doesn’t do relationships. Until he met Sarah. Now she is all he can think about. They both never thought their arrangement would turn into a relationship, feelings included. Their story is such a beautiful love story and will grab a hold of you and never let go. A 5-star read by far. Another incredible read by MJ Fields and Jessica Ruben. Once you start you will not be able to put down until the end.

The Irresistible Irishman is the perfect read for St. Patrick's Day, and I simply couldn't get enough of it. I'm very familiar with the brilliant MJ Fields, but Jessica Ruben is a new to me author. They definitely shined brightly with their collaboration, and frankly, everyone needs this story in their lives! Sarah isn't a girl who hooks up with a man she just met, but she let her bestie talk her into doing something outside of her comfort zone, so she spent a HOT night with Beckett. Sarah feels alive again, and her life is actually looking up with a new job & her own cute apartment but then BAM! Her new boss is none other than Beckett, the man she hooked up with so things are complicated or are they?! There's so much chemistry between these two that Beckett isn't going to let being her boss stop his pursuit of Sarah, but who could blame him?! She's a strong & sassy heroine, but best of all, they sizzle! This dream team writing duo blended together seamlessly as I could never tell a difference so I certainly hope that they continue writing together! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Holy hotness in a kilt!!! The Irresistible Irishman For St. Patrick's Day was a delightfully dirty read.
Beckett and Sarah couldn't be more opposite if they tried...and they tried. Him all broody and married to his work. Sarah with her big heart that was just trying to move forward with her life after it had been less than kind to her. All it took was one meeting, one night to change the course of both of their lives.
I loved how when Beckett found out exactly who Sarah was, that he was relentless in his pursuit of the woman he couldn't get out of his head. She changed him and the future he saw for himself. Now he just had to get her on the same page...
All in all, Beckett and Sarah's office romance was quick and delicious. While I would've liked to see a little more of their moments outside the bedroom (which were plentiful) I still flew through the book. And that ending...total trip to swoonville. This writing duo are an absolute dream team. The Irresistible Irishman is a standalone which takes place in the same world as the Broody Brit. Raff's best friend from his uni days at Oxford is in town and Beckett Hawthorne appears to have fallen under the spell of the charming Sarah. This hot and steamy rom-com hit the spot. There was a great backstory leaving them both not wanting a long term relationship. However, while enjoying each others company in the present, sometimes hot chemistry leads to unwanted feelings that can't be denied.
Beckett knows exactly what Sarah wants and needs, even if she can't see it. He makes it his mission to fulfil her every fantasy and then some, he may be her boss but that won't stop him getting what he wants. Another brilliant standalone that I finished in one sitting.

This was a great well written story. In this story we meet Beckett and Sarah. The pair have a night together that is unforgettable to both of them and then unexpected circumstances bring them back together and they enter into an unconventional agreement. This pair have amazing chemistry together and continue with their agreement until they start to have feelings for each other that they do not know how to deal with. Sarah, wanting to spare Beckett the pain of her past and inabilities and Beckett denying his feelings for Sarah since he believes that he is married to his job.
This story can be read as a standalone as it takes place at the same time as the Broody Brit does. The characters from that book also make a few appearances in this book as we progress through the story.
Overall, this was a well written story that I would recommend to others.

Who could possibly resist a hot irish man, especially on St Patricks day, certainly not Sarah but what should've been a hot 1 night stand gets complicated when Beckett turns up as Sarahs new boss.
Beckett is hot, rich and always gets what he wants.

A good read, I finished it in 1 sitting and liked both characters, very light in the dom/sub connection compared to what you expect on first introduction of Sarahs working contract but I was ok with that and lots of steamy action still thanks to Becketts dominant Irish charms.

Sarah has been through a lot in her life, losing her mom, her dad moving to Florida, and her being a Cancer Survivor. When her best friend takes matters into her own hands-on St. Patrick's Day Sarah is about to get the heart-stopping, handsome Beckett that she never asked for. Beckett is only in town to see his best friend and godson. What better way to have a fun-filled few days than with a woman. He and Sarah meet and sparks do fly, but so does something else. When they split ways and Sarah gets a job at a hotel she has been wanting she doesn't realize her life is about to change. Now they are both back in the same town and they both want each other. However, sometimes sparks are not enough and when feelings get in the way it will be a shocker who walks. Can these two survive the hot and steamy few weeks they spend with one another? I loved this story, these two authors are amazing.

She is the change from his norm. Sarah finds out that she want's more out of life after what happened to her. Beckett offers a proposition to Sarah when he comes back after realizing that she is one of his employeess. What they both didn't expect was to have more feelings then they had both ever felt. They get their HEA. Beckett thought that he was married to his job, how wrong he was. He just never met the right person to make him change is tune.
