Through engaging rhyme, pastor and bestselling author Mark Batterson and his daughter encourage young children to discover the joys of both counting their blessings and being a blessing to others.
Count your blessings two by two— and bless the world with the blessing of YOU!
God’s blessings can be found all around us, and even young children can learn to see and appreciate these gifts—from the smell of freshly baked cookies to the joy of climbing a tree! But God doesn’t just intend for us to receive blessings; He also wants us to bless others.
With whimsical rhyme and delightful illustrations, The Blessing of You helps young children recognize signs of God’s generosity and goodness in their everyday lives and encourages them to pass on those blessings by being their own wonderful, God-created selves.

A precious story sharing how we are blessed and how we can bless others. This is a great book to give as a gift. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.
THE BLESSING OF YOU by Mark Batterson and Summer Batterson Dailey Waterbrook Multnomah
This is a fun, cute, multicultural book about finding the blessing of you in everything. Not only are you a blessing, but everything you see and do is a blessing,
The book is colorful, well-illustrated, and it would be fun to read it to children. Highly recommend it. The story encourages children to seek and find blessings in their lives.
Much gratitude to #waterbrookmultnomah @waterbrookmultnomah #waterbrook #markbatterson @markbatterson #waterbrookpress for the complimentary copy of #theblessingofyou I was under no obligation to post a review. #newreleasechildrensbook #multicultural #disabilities
This little book is a charmer. It is upbeat and teaches what blessings are. It illustrates how you can find blessings everywhere - you just have to look. I can picture a small child sitting on an adult’s lap and listening while taking time to notice the amazing details in the illustrations. And then, right at the end, a tickle might be appropriate as you read the words “the blessing of God is the blessing of you.”
Thank you to Waterbrook Multnomah Publishers for providing a digital copy to review and the opportunity to read this book as part of the launch team. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow - the test of any children's book is to watch a child read it. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my youngest female grandchild. She won't put it down without a struggle. She loves it - the pictures (racially diverse) and the message (so positive!). Recommend this book for every child. Wish it was mandatory in the school systems. Kudos to Mark & Summer Batterson for a book needed so much by those we are trying to uplift as our legacy. Best line in the book: "The blessing of God is the blessing of you." Only thing missing from that statement is the exclamation mark. Love, love, this book - wish there had been a book like this for me when I was a kid.
This a cute little book and poem that will easily teach children all the ways that blessings are around them. This will be fun for young children to read with parents to be reminded how special they are.
This book is chalk full of beautiful, bright, bold and colorful photos. The message is of course fantastic. It’s written at an age appropriate level. And my favorite part is the cadence of writing… any children’s book with cadence and rhyming is a favorite in our house.
This book is full of colorful, vivid images that will grab your child’s attention. The sweet, rhyming words remind you to see God’s blessings everywhere you go. This would make a perfect gift for the kiddos in your life!
Thank you Multnomah for the ARC. All opinions here are my own.
This is a precious book that will teach the Littles in your life what a blessing they are and how blessed they are. And to also realize all the blessings of God around them. *I was given a copy of this book by the publisher and this is my honest review.
Super sweet, encouraging book for kids to learn God loves them and how they can be a blessing to others. Not just a cute rhyming book, but really thoughtful.
This book was a gift given to us, and it was a very well illustrated and inclusive book. This is a gift I would get for other people because we liked it so much!
