Usually when you think of women who murder, the thought of poison comes to mind, or a psychotic nurse overdosing patients, or mothers who’ve gone off the deep end. The thought of bloody murder doesn’t quite seem to fit. The stories in this book will put the lie to that. Of the twenty stories here, a full dozen or more show a woman not afraid of a little arterial spray.
This is another excellent volume in the Deadly Women series. All of the information needed for complete understanding of each case is included in excellent reportage.
Give this a 3 because I didn’t think it was as good as the others maybe that’s because I’m reading them all one after the other but I certainly think that the other books are better than the ones that feel like they drag on a bit
The author has researched the crimes of twenty women, many of whom received the death penalty for their brutal crimes. He gives details about each woman’s childhood if known and adulthood leading up to the murder. Sometimes the motive is clear: profit, revenge, jealousy.... But sometimes it is unknown and may never be known! The author always tells the results of the defendant’s trial and if convicted, the sentence received. The details of these harrowing crimes remind me of the reason why I favor the death penalty! Some crimes are so brutal, and some individuals are so without remorse that it must be made absolutely certain that they will have no opportunity to repeat such acts ever again! Even if their behavior in prison has been good. The murderers range from those who killed a lover to those who killed a parent, sibling, child, or husband, or rival! Read Deadly Women Volume x to get the facts! ♥️✝️🐑✡️♥️
The cases within the pages of this book will keep you riveted. Evil men are horrific enough, but they can not hold a candle to their female counterparts, as this book will show you.
Me. Keller has done it again and I'm left wanting more as always. If you are looking for a true crime book that is well written and facts then look no further!!
