Had a lot of promise but not a lot of chemistry or connection.
If you’re looking for a lighthearted read, this is one to check out. The author spins a tale about two unlikely people who not only live next-door to each other but also end up working with each other.

It’s definitely a spin on the opposites attract and falling for my next-door neighbor trope that proves to be a satisfying read. The author builds on that with their unique character development and descriptive locale.

Grace is working towards a full-time career as a photographer but until that happens she finds herself accepting temporary jobs to ensure that she doesn’t lose the house she inherited from her grandmother. Her childhood was less than conventional which makes the home that much more important to her and how she finds herself working for Sawyer.

Sawyer has recently moved to town after a bitter and public end to his last relationship. He is opening a training centre for service dogs and he has a pla

If you are a fan of Traci Hall you won't be disappointed with this book if you aren't a fan of hers yet you need to read this book and you will become a fan. The story line is great and the characters are fun. I enjoyed Grace and Lottie. Sawyer seems to good to be true and his brother Bobbie and Tomas are a lot of fun.

Check out this book you won't be disappointed.

This is a cute read. Just a nice story to pass a few hours. For me a bit forgettable but I read lots of romance so you tend to compare a lot. I think many will like the story and the dog!

I received an ARC from Netgalley and this is my honest voluntary review.

The last couple of books that I've read haven't quite hit the mark and I've been hoping for something that would lift both my mood and my reading slump. Fortunately, Just One Kiss hit that mark for me. It was just the kind of book that I was looking for and once I started reading, I was glad that I'd made it my next choice.
Just One Kiss is a classic opposites-attract love story. Grace is a free-spirited, freelance photographer who doesn't let rules and routines restrict her. Sawyer is an ex-mili

Just One Kiss is Traci Hall’s newest release and standalone contemporary, small-town, opposites attract romance. It’s a sweet romance with just a touch of heat (fade to black scenes), so if you’re looking for steamy, this book won’t be what you’re looking for. If you’re a sweet with heat romance fan, though, I think you’ll enjoy this story.

NICUnurse’s Rating: Let’s talk characters for a moment because I think they truly make this story entertaining. Grace is quirky, fun, creative, and a “what y
I love this fun romance novel! Just One Kiss by Traci Hall brings together two very opposite and quite attracted people. First, Sawyer who is on a mission to change his public image ruins Grace's photo on the beach. His out of control, over boisterous dog makes it difficult to get the shot that she wants of this bird she's been watching for weeks so that she can photograph the exact moment the eggs hatch. Of course this wild dog and his handsome owner ruin her shot, and later she finds out that ...more
This is a contemporary romance in which opposites attract!

Grace Sheldon spent her childhood living on a commune with her parents, only moving to live with her grandmother to attend school when she was sixteen. Now she's inherited her grandmother's home but she never dreamt the tax bill would be so huge and the bank is threatening to foreclose on her. She's a free-spirited, freelance photographer but also takes on other jobs to help pay the bills. She's going to work as an office assistant at a s

I have read several books over the years by Traci Hall. Her characters are likable with some difficulties in their lives, some more than others. Such is the case for Grace and Sawyer in Just One Kiss. One needs money to keep a family home and one needs positive PR. They meet and clash. It does not end there as they two have numerous occasions together.

This opposites attraction is also a next door neighbor, living in a small town story that would be perfect for a Hallmark movie. The drama and ang

I have read several of Traci Hall's books but always written as a team with another author, this was the first time I have read a book just written by this author. This was a fun and lighthearted read, one that doesn't take a lot of deep thinking to keep you guessing what will happen next. Sometimes its nice just to read a simple book like that, because I read so many suspense thrillers its nice to turn to a book that is easy to read without a darkness too it. I am going through so much in my li ...more

This was such a nice, clean romance.
I felt for Grace. She was doing all she could to not loose the house her grandmother had left her. I admire her in that she didn't want a hand out, and she didn't look for an easy way to solve her financial woes. The financial struggles she was having were indeed her struggles and by God she was going to see them through no matter the outcome.
Sawyer at first was just determined to get his reputation back on track after his ex destroyed him publicly. He learns

This is a funny and sweet book that fans of the genre will enjoy. Grace is photographer who works temp jobs to keep herself afloat in between paying photography jobs. She ends up working for Sawyer, a famous dog trainer that's been smeared publicly by his ex-girlfriend. They're complete opposites, but keep being drawn together. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, right up until the end. Unfortunately, the ending felt abrupt and unrealistic - especially since it took them a month to decide weather or ...more

Just One Kiss, by Traci Hall, is a quick light read. It follows famous dog trainer Sawyer and free-spirited freelance photographer Grace as they pick their way through their various differences and individual issues.

Grace owes back taxes on the house she inherited from her grandmother. Sawyer has moved to town to open a dog training school for service dogs for veterans. His reason for the school is not entirely altruistic at first; he's trying to scramble back to the top after a disastrous break

Thank you to #Netgalley and #entangledpublishing for providing me with this eARC for my honest review.

This was such a cute story. I love the way that grace was completely independent and no matter what tried to figure out every way she could to save her house on her own. Yes, this was a cute rom-com with a hot guy and dogs but it was great to read a book that the female character wanted to depend on herself and not the guy she was falling in love with. Sawyer and

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were fully developed, their personalities were polar opposite and yet Ms. Hall managed to bring them together in a way that was believable! I have read many of her books and each one is well written, clever plots and wonderful characters that will completely charm you and bring a smile to your face.
Read and Enjoy!

*A big thank you to Entangled Publishing, Traci Hall and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review*

Just One Kiss is a funny, light hearted read which is nice to consume after a very heavy book. While light on substance, the characters are adorable and quirky and I loved that Sawyer was a Dog trainer.

Unfortunately, some things in this book missed the mark for me. I found Grace to be a little bit unbelievable in a way that she seemed to have zero common s

A cute, sweet read. I enjoyed Traci Hall’s writing and how well it flowed together. I felt instant contraction with Sawyer and how he treated Grace. It took a little longer to like Grace but I did enjoy her and Sawyers interaction and connection with each other. If you are look for a sweet romance this is it!

This is definitely a story of opposites attract. Grace Sheldon is a freelance photographer who was raised in a commune. She has inherited her grandmother's house at the beach but she owes thirty thousand dollars in back taxes. She is facing foreclosure on the house and she doesn't know how she can come up with that much money in a short time. I love Grace and Sawyer, they are so real.
Thank you NetGalley, Entangled and Traci Hall for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
In this opposite-attract romance readers are introduced to Grace and Sawyer. Grace is a fun and free spirited photographer who never takes things too seriously and knows how to let loose. Sawyer is a rule following, closed off ex-military man who does not have time for games. Grace has been working extra jobs to make ends meet and winds up working as a temp for Sawyer who

A cute, fun read that I would say is kind of an opposite attract type of romance. Grace and Sawyer are very different. He is a dog trainer from the big city who is well known for his program and the results he has gotten. She is a small town artistic free spirit who loves to take photographs.

I liked the two of them together and that they saw past the little personality clashes and differences they had. There were some sweet moments between them as they got to know each other better.

Super sweet and predictable story. If you are a dog lover, then you will like this book. Sawyer is a famous dog trainer who has moved to the East Coast to start up a new office and start again. His last relationship ended in pure drama and he wants to get away from it all.

There he meets Grace, his neighbor and also new hire, She is a sweet girl who is in dent up to her eyeballs and low on work.

This is a story about opposites attracting, crazy exes and love when you didn't expect it.

I actually really liked how both Grace and Sawyer annoyed me at times due to their indecisiveness and how I would get frustrated at them especially Grace, the reason I like this is it makes them human and relatable. Both are at a turning point in their lives where what happens next will either cement their life going forward or everything will well fall apart. The attraction they have is undeniable however both try not to act on it as they are working together for the moment at least, but you ju ...more

Although this book says that it is part of a series, I found that it could be a stand alone book. Grace is a freelance photographer who has a run in with her neighbor Sawyer, a well known dog trainer. Sawyer is building a dog training facility with the help of his friend and community veterans. Due to being neighbors, Grace and Sawyer continue to run into each other, leading to conversations of awkwardness and quick wit for both parties. I could not wait to see how their relationship might progr ...more
