60 books689 followersI am a happily married mother of three (two boys and one girl). I live in a very small town in Alabama. Never lived anywhere else. I’ve been writing since my early twenties, but I couldn’t seem to finish a book. I’ve started self-publishing with the encouragement from my mom. Without her encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve done it. She always supported me and writing is something I’ve always enjoyed doing. As long as I enjoy it, I’ll continue to do it. I’ve learned already that I can’t please everyone. Not all reviews will be good, not all reviews will be bad. I’m the one that has to be happy with my work.
I get my inspiration from life experiences, movies, television, other authors, and music. Music is definitely a big influence on my writing. I can hear a song and it can inspire an entire book for me. I listen to it while I’m driving or before I start writing and it keeps me inspired. I like to put music in my books, even if it’s just one song the characters listen to or hear at some point. Sometimes music has gotten me through the really tough times in my life and that’s why it inspires me.
I like to write fast-paced, steamy romance reads. I like for my males to be alpha-males and my heroines to be strong, but both need to have one weakness- each other. I am an avid reader. I absolutely love romance books!

This was an interesting anthology to read. They were nearly all new to me authors and some genres that I’ve not read before.
For me the anthology started off great I loved the first 5 stories, they kept me engaged and showed the small town life of Corree Harbour. The last few books just weren’t for me. I tried really hard to keep an open mind and try something new. I hate leaving less than glowing reviews but I feel I have to be honest. However just because they weren’t for me certainly doesn’t mean they aren’t good and someone else may really enjoy them and there is certainly something for everyone in this book.
I’ve written a short review of each book detailing my thoughts after reading.
Deep in love :- Loved this. So nice to read about an older woman and younger man. Lakyn and Finn are great together. Finn is so positive and supportive of her, allowing her to shine and be who is in her heart. The descriptions of the b&m and harbour are amazing and I almost felt I was out on the boat with Finn.
Coached in Love :- I really enjoyed this. Logan had to make a tough decision when he was younger and Sailor paid the price. When he returns he know exactly who he wants and he doesn’t stop until Sailor known how he feels about her. Add in three teenage boys and it makes a great read. I love the pull Logan and Sailor feel for each other and how Sailor is finally able to lower her guard and let Logan in to love her fully.
Running in Love :- Absolutely amazing. I loved this so much, I couldn’t put it down and I couldn’t read fast enough. Holden and Lauren are the perfect match, they are drawn to each other, but both not ready for another love, they both have wrapped themselves in a protective blanket to ward off more hurt. However they simply can’t stop their feelings.
The suspense in this story, the back story from Lauren and then the hunt to find Ray was just the right amount for me and it all only helped show Lauren and Holden how perfect they are together. Such a sweet slow burn romance, where they respected each other enough to wait and talk things through and put what’s best for the other, first. That simple kiss at the end in front of their family was beautiful and perfect.
Lessons in Love :- Childhood sweethearts, torn apart and then fight to be together again. Being on stage together singing was very sweet and helped mend their hearts.
35 Seconds in Love :- What a great sports romance. This was more sport than romance, the detail about the basketball matches and the practises. Lawrence Hall clearly knows his stuff, even better, he has a daft laugh at himself by adding himself as a character in the book that the coaches have a laugh at.
The heart of this book was beautiful, the attraction between Ian and Jas was there from the start, but then in each of their flash backs we see their first meeting, each walking away saying to their fathers that they were going to marry each other. Simply beautiful.
Drunk in Love :- I loved the ending. Tommy and Phoebe finally getting everything they wanted.
This is a biker MC and for me it was just a touch too much, too bloody for me, this isn’t my normal genre.
The background showing us Phoebe and how she came to be the bar owner was nice, and after having seen the bar and Phoebe in previous stories in the anthology it was nice to see her story.
Stamped in Love :- This was something new for me, I’ve not read about Daddies and Littles before. It wasn’t really for me, however despite that I could see the spark between Murphy and Anabel, no matter how they chose to express it, they genuinely cared for each other. It was nice that Anabel had fears and doubts which were very realistic about this new relationship she was embarking on.
Not for me, but it was nicely written.

As you read you will notice that they are all from the same small town. They are standalone but some do mention others from books before, this whole book that the authors have put together is absolutely perfect.
1) Deep in love by Delaney Foster. new to me 5 stars
After a number of yrs being married to Adrian, Lakyn's world is shattered in an instant.
Taking time out she goes to her Aunt Daisy's in Coree Harbour knowing that her husband won't follow her there. What she needs time alone to figure out what she's to do.
Finn Douglas has had his fair share of ups and downs. While delivering to Daisy's he bumps into Lakyn, literally. Let the fun begin. This is a fab read. Loved it, deffo a page turner. Cant wait to read more by this Author. 5 stars
2) Coached In Love ... J.L. Leslie 5 stars
I absolutely love this authors work, her words just flow and bring you in.
Sailor is a bit of a loner since she lost her sister, though she does spend time with her nephews. while at work she finds out that Logan Decker NFL player the boy she'd loved is moving back to Coree Harbour, her world has now just turned upside down.
After Logan leaves his NFL career behind he heads for his old home town, takeing his teenage son with him. When he runs into Sailor he doesn't recognize her and this right here is where the story starts to unfold. loved this story, was rooting for them all the way. 5 stars
3) Running in love by JL Long 5 stars
This is a new Author to me.
Lauren and her daughter are new in town, but shes harbouring secrets. In the past she has not made friends and when the heat is up she moves on. But rolling into Coree Harbour she feels totally at ease.
This is a real nice read, with a twist ...you no something is wrong but you dont no what or to the extent. Holden knows shes lieing but about what. When she starts to reveal bits of herself other stuff happens. really enjoyed this will be looking up the author for future reads.
4) Lesson in love by Jade Royal. 4 stars
New Author to me
Brendon and Londynn have known each other since they were kids.
His into music big time. He's offered a recording contract so he leaves for Texas with the promise of coming back.
Londynn stays back in Coree Harbour waiting for him. Years later he turns back up. This is a sweet story. It has some heart felt moments.
5) 35 Seconds in Love by Lawrence Hall 4 star
Sport romance is not really my thing, but having said that, it was a good read. At the start of the book the author puts all the phases that you need to understand about basketball.
Ian Boyer is the best player until something happens. After his disappearing act for two years, he comes back.
Jasmine was probably the female version of Ian. A couple of years older then Ian she puts him through his paces. With feelings aside she gets him to be the best player he can be in Coree Harbour.
As you read you will notice that they are all from the same small town. They are standalone but some do mention others from books before, this whole book that the authors have put together is absolutely perfect.

Wow! I just loved this book, a wonderful anthology written by some of the most popular romance writers today. Whether it is the Postmistress and the Author finding their fantasies of what love could be coming true by Pepper North, going home while starting over, needing to find yourself again maybe this time with a younger man by Delaney Foster,losing one love while learning to live again to finially healing enough to try to finding love again by J.L. Long, losing your first love to follow your basketball dreams to only return years later and find her again by JL Leslie, after being broken by love there is no way I'm trying that again or so I thought till he showed up and wouldn't take no for an answer by Leah Negron, following my dreams of music took me far from home and the girl of my dreams so when I returned and she is still there, this time I won't leave her behind by Jade Royal, and finially my dreams are coming true coaching men's basketball but why did I have to meet him now and why is he one of my teams players by Lawrence Hall. Each of these books has it's own special couple and it all starts in "Coree Harbor: the town where every sunrise brought a new begining, and hope rolled in with the waves,".

DEEP IN LOVE - DELANEY FOSTER = At first I felt bad and thought forgiveness should be extended, but I genuinely loved Lakyn's tenacity and self reliance. Aunt Daisey had beautiful wisdom to impart at appropriate timing. I loved Finn's age beyond his years and his love of Lakyn's independence. From two tragic relationships, an unlikely love story is birthed. A beautiful story with awesome characters.
COACHED IN LOVE - JL LESLIE = I love second chances. And for as many roadblocks that were encountered by Logan and Sailor, I also laughed. I'm glad for the hiccups between them, because the love for them was real, not just a physical attraction.
RUNNING IN LOVE - JL LONG = Well as cozy as the title sounds the key word is running and it had me looking over my should in expectation of "the bad guys" to catch up to Lauren. Holden, Quin & Liam were so deserving of happiness and the family unit. Great story. Awesome characters.
LESSON IN LOVE - JADE ROYAL = I'm a sucker for second chances, but this couple had that and a 3rd chance. An awesome rock star story.
35 SECONDS IN LOVE - LAURENCE HALL = Excellent story for the lovers of basketball. The visuals and the announcers had you right in the game!
DRUNK IN LOVE - LEAH NEGRON = An awesome biker story. Crucial secrets and new lives.
STAMPED IN LOVE - PEPPER NORTH = These two individuals were quick to become a couple in a new to me fashion. *bulging eyes*

Loved this anthology! The best part of an anthology is I always find new authors to read. This one is no different, I can't not wait to see what those authors have for me.
Great reads each and every single one! Was going to review them individually, but decided on doing it as a whole.

I loved the continuity from story to story in bringing forward previous characters and locations around Coree Harbor. There's also some backstories explained. Deep In Love By Delaney Foster, broken finds broken when Lakyn and Finn find each other. Coached In Love By JL Leslie solves Sailor's determination to not be single and desparate when Logan returns. Fleeing and grieving come together and finds resolution when Lauren rents from Holden in Running In Love By JL Long. Lessons In Love by Jade Royal finally bring Brendon and Londynn back together after ten years. Lawrence Hall's 35 Seconds In Love counts down Ian and Jasmine's trials and tribulations. Drunk in Love by Leah Negron reveals Tommy's secrets after he goes to work for Phoebe. Lucas X. Black exposes Coree Harbor's dark side when Carrie and Aaron get together, and support each other through tragedies. I absolutely love the time jump epilogue. Anabel and Murphy find what they are each searching for in Pepper North's Stamped In Love.

I loved this wonderful book full of great stories! I especially the age gap of Finn and Lakyn. It was steamy hot and such a wonderful warm thoughtful story! Pepper North, Lawrence Hall and others. These stories are exciting and steamy. I definitely recommend this book.

Such a great collection of short stories. I enjoyed the interconnections of the characters and little world they built. All the stories feature different characters and different types of romance tropes.

I absolutely love how each other brought their story in from the last one . Every single book had the trouble and love all in them i wish it could keep going . Definitely worth a read they are great books.

I just loved this book! There are so many sweet, small-town romances, I just couldn’t put it down! I was going to review each story separately, but they’re all so good I can’t delineate!
I loved that someone from each couple grew up in Coree Harbor, I l loved the connection to the town. I also loved the people of the town. In so many small-town books the townspeople are not welcoming but that’s not the case here. They love the incoming folks.
I also liked the sexy times! They were hot! They weren’t overdone either. I like that each story progressed at a believable pace, even though the stories were short. I also liked the diversity of each person in the stories - no two stories were alike, but they were definitely cohesive. It didn’t feel like a bunch of authors wrote on their own. You can really feel the collaboration as the townspeople were consistent through the stories.

I loved this book! I especially loved how it is a series of stories that are all set in Coree Beach. I really like the town characters and how they got a story that blend into the next one. A great read all around!

This is a book of short stories
Each story has made me want to read more about these wonderful characters and Coree Harbor.
Deep in love by Delaney Foster I absolutely love. I can't wait for the extended version comes out. Plus to get to know Finn son Max better.
Coached in love by J. L. Leslie: Its a second chance at love. I caught myself LOL a few times. I loved how it was in the same town as the first story.
Running in love J L LONG: OMG yes we get to see Sailor brother in law in this story. We met him shortly in Coached in love.
Lesson in love by Jade Royal: a second chance at love when your knows what it wants but life keeps you apart. I actually think if they would have tried harder they wouldn't had to have waited all those years apart. This story I was a bit disappointed by the writing at times. I found myself confused at times. I will give this 4.5 stars.
35 Seconds in love by Lawrence Hall: I'm a fan of this authors work. I was so happy to be to recieve this arc because I really wanted to read this story. I definitely loved it and especially the basketball references.
Drunk in love by Leah Negron: Wow I always wondered what happened to Chad. Phoebe never saw that coming and so did I. What a beautiful ending definitely had ne crying.
Stamped in love by Pepper North: I thought I have read it all but boy was I wrong. I never read a book on age play before. Where the Daddy takes care of the woman like if she was a child.

Coached in love by J. L. Leslie: Its a second chance at love. I caught myself LOL a few times. I loved how it was in the same town as the first story.
Running in love J L LONG: OMG yes we get to see Sailor brother in law in this story. We met him shortly in Coached in love.
Lesson in love by Jade Royal: a second chance at love when your knows what it wants but life keeps you apart. I actually think if they would have tried harder they wouldn't had to have waited all those years apart. This story I was a bit disappointed by the writing at times. I found myself confused at times. I will give this 4.5 stars.
35 Seconds in love by Lawrence Hall: I'm a fan of this authors work. I was so happy to be to recieve this arc because I really wanted to read this story. I definitely loved it and especially the basketball references.
Drunk in love by Leah Negron: Wow I always wondered what happened to Chad. Phoebe never saw that coming and so did I. What a beautiful ending definitely had ne crying.
Stamped in love by Pepper North: I thought I have read it all but boy was I wrong. I never read a book on age play before. Where the Daddy takes care of the woman like if she was a child.

What a great collection of short stories! Seven different stories by seven different authors, yet they all blended beautifully with one another. The collection is set in one small town with each author focusing on a different couple. Some stories are sweet, some steamy but they all hit the spot! Great job!

4 1/2 Star Read. This anthology has a little bit of everything romance for everyone. A couple of the stories I personally couldn't quite get into but I persevered and read them though, though others may love them.

Lakyn is happily married to her husband of twenty years until that day everything came to a crashing end. Shattered she leaves and goes to stay with her Aunt in Coree Harbour. The longer she stays the more she finds herself again. Finn is a fisherman and single dad and bumps into Lakyn while dropping off a seafood order to her aunt. I really enjoyed this story and hope to read more of Lakyn and Finn's story.

Loved this story! I really enjoyed that this was an older woman and younger man age gap romance. I just loved Finn so much and how he was so supportive of Lakyn. Lakyn and Finn were perfect together. A beautiful story of finding love again.

I absolutely adored Logan and Sailor’s story. Logan leaves the NFL and returns to his hometown. Sailor is a loner and has built a wall up as to not to be hurt again. When Logan returns home he’s determined to make Sailor understand how he feels about her. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to read what would happen next. This second chance romance was amazing.

That was an amazing collection! Each author delivered something different about this small town of Coree Harbor. Each author brought you a different story like second chances, bdsm, betrayal and taboo fantasy. The one that I think was the most heartbreaking was Lawman in Love by Lucas X Black. Faith and trust are put to the test in this one. Overall I loved each one. A must read collection of great authors, some I'd already read and some new that I look forward to reading more from. Pepper North gave me a new taboo/fantasy to look into reading more of.

Oh my gosh. I loved this anthology!! Unlike many anthologies I have picked up, this one included “short” stories that weren’t all that short. It truly is like a big box set of romance novels. I also really enjoyed the links between books with characters. It’s like a mini series which focuses on one couple each time but they other characters pop in to say “hey- remember me?” on occasion. I also found it fascinating how each included author brought their own style and trope to the party but they were all similar enough to still make it feel like one book.

I was just going to get this book because of Pepper North, but all of the books were good, so now I have some new authors to try!! All of these feature different couples in the same small town and some of the characters appear in multiple stories.

Good group of stories.
This is a wonderful little town. These stories are all separate but all take place in the same town with connecting characters.

What a power anthology by some pretty amazing authors.
When I started reading this, I had no problem going from story to story, so much that I felt like I was reading one novel, as all the characters are intermingled.
Sure, you get some favourites but in the end, you really fall in love with not only the characters but also the small town they all live in.
Thank you to every single author who contributed to this amazing set of stories. Your words bring us smiles in these uncertain times and I am soooo happy I was able to read this!!!!

Oh my. This book was truly one emotional ride. These seven authors were wow. Delaney Foster , J.L. , Leslie , J.L. Long , Jade Royal , Lawrence Hall , Leah Negron , and Pepper North. What these guys did with their own stories was crazy. Such amazingly talented people. Some of the stories were funny , emotional , crazy on the edge of your seat , oh and hmmm some more. Wink Wink. They all take place in a small town called Coree Harbor. I just want to say Thank You to all these crazy and awesome writers. WTG..... you all did great.
