Three words the men of the Sinners MC live by. Three virtues they have sworn to defend. No matter what the cost.
She’s his obligation.
Josie Carmichael is uptight, opinionated, and judgmental.
She has no place in his motorcycle club, but he’s made a commitment to protect her after she became a target for his enemies, and as the president, he takes that seriously. Setting up her protection is easy. However, ignoring the heat between them is impossible, and it isn’t long before he’s sacrificing everything to get close to her.
He’s her nemesis.
John Pierce, known only to his MC brothers as Bear, is overbearing, infuriating, and pushy.
He lives his life on his own terms, in complete contradiction to how she lives hers, but she needs his protection to keep herself and the kids in her program safe. However, as their obsessive attraction continues to pull them together, she begins second-guessing everything she thought she knew about the man and what he’s willing to do for her and the club.
But things are rarely what they seem.
With danger still lurking and the club’s enemies marking their targets, can love keep them together?
Jennifer Hanks is a busy author and mom. Her stories are contemporary romance and romantic suspense, all with the underlying message of the power and strength in love. She’s also a sucker for a Happily-Ever-After. Her love of reading and books in general started at a very young age and has steadily grown into a love of writing as well. She admits to being addicted to all things romance and has no plans of quitting her habit. Jennifer lives in Pennsylvania with her two children. When she’s not reading or writing, she can be found with her kids at their various activities. Her house is frequently filled with any combination of her children’s friends, nieces, nephews and a variety of pets.
"End Game by Jennifer Hanks is the second book in the Sinners MC series. Bear is the president of the Sinners and has been taking the club in a new direction. He wants a clean club. Josie walks in one night and sparks fly immediately. These two fight about anything and they fight their feelings.
This book is a lot of back and forth...I want her, I don’t want her, etc. It is not one of my favorites. The writing is great, the story is good, but I just didn’t feel like the characters had an intense connection. We do get to see some of the characters from the DiMarco series throughout. It would have been 5 stars for me if the characters had been more solid."
This story had me from the very beginning!End Game is officially in the top three of my favorites by Jennifer Hanks.
Hanks wasted no time for the drama to begin. Josie Carmichael, fairly new to town, does a good deed that immediately blows up in her face and throws her right in the middle of the Sinners MC.
Bear, the MC's president, shoulders the responsibility for what happened to Josie and wants to offer her protection the best way he knows how. He’s used to being in charge and making the calls. What he's not used to is an obstinate woman.
The tension between these two just crawls off the page. It's incredible, it's juicy, and it's addictive!
On top of Bear and Josie's story there are so many other stories waiting to be told with the side characters. The good news is is readers get a peek at the next story in this series.
I HIGHLY suggest reading this one. It's angsty, it's suspenseful, it's incredibly hot and I did not want to put it down!
Its official - I love this series. Once again I was pulled into the world of Sinners and I fricking loved every minute of it.
I absolutely loved Josie. She was fierce, strong-minded and had a heart of gold. She didn't understand the club life but when she was forced to step back and let them help her she started to see there was more to them then just their looks. Bear had a lot on his shoulders as President and his attraction to Josie was not helping. They had sizzling chemistry and a connection that was too strong to deny. Their road to being together was not smooth but it was all worth it in the end.
Another great book in this series and now I'm super excited to see how Becs gets her man.

This was a really good book. The hero and heroine are both incredibly stubborn people, and the heroine is not having it. There were a couple surprises along the way, and the introduction of a new person whose motives aren't clear. I really enjoyed all of the things going on in this book, and I can't wait to read the next one.
Oh my gosh this series is killing me in the best way! There’s an element of suspense and a mystery to solve coupled with fantastic characters and a HEA....but wait....the mystery isn’t solved....like I said this series is killing me in the best way. Bear and Josie are both head strong and independent but eventually realize the heart wants what the heart wants despite the obstacles and potential danger. I love every character in this series and I can’t wait to see all of these burly tattooed guys meet their match! Jennifer Hanks is a fairly new author to me but her books have quickly consumed me and I have fallen in love with these guys, girls, and families... I can’t wait for more from her.
I loved this story. The drama. The sass. The banter. The constant fighting of feelings. The stubbornness. This book has it all.
I caught a glimpse of Bear’s character in the DiMarco series books then in Gunner & Maggie’s story and couldn’t wait to see who would catch Bear’s heart.
Josie was Bear’s perfect match. She’s tough but has a heart of gold. And Bear? Well his Bear lol.
I love the brotherhood of this book. The family they are. And I won’t say no to a Sinner in my neck of the hood.
End Game is the second book in the Sinners MC Series. You met Bear in Book 1, Sweet Revenge, and I was really excited to read his story next. One night, Josie walks into the Sinners Clubhouse after giving Bear's sister a ride. The minute she leaves she is attacked and Bear feels like it is his fault and immediately takes responsibly for her and her safety. At the beginning, these two could not stand each other so Josie does whatever she can to keep him away.
This book had a lot of back and forth. I like her, I like him, I can't stand him, she will never understand me...etc. Josie is a strong character and that is exactly what Bear needs. She does not understand the club life and after a while to begins to understand how good these guys truly are. She is open-minded, thoughtful, but fierce. Nobody can mess with her and that includes Bear. Bear has a lot on his plate being the President of the club and trying to keep them good. He wants the club to be on the right side of the law, but when Josie gets attacked all bets are off.
The chemistry between these two is HOT. They are immediately attracted to each other, but they know that they are from two different worlds. It will take a lot for them to be together, but they can not deny their connection to one another. The heart wants what the heart wants.
This book was filled with angst, suspense, and hotness! I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!!!
HEA: Yes OW/OM Drama: No Cheating: No Couple Separation: Yes
I absolutely loved Josie and Bear’s story. Josie is a very smart, giving, caring and beautiful woman and when she stops to help a woman on the side of the road, what started out as a good Samaritan act, ends up with Josie being in the depths of the Sinners MC and their President Bear… even though she wants absolutely noting to do with them.
Josie has an immediate attraction to this oh so Alpha man, but she’s going to do the exact opposite of everything he tells her to do even if it’s for her protection… you see, she caught the eye of their enemies and Bear feels it’s his job to protect her….even while he pushes away the desire he feels for her every time he sees her.
What I loved so much about this book is that Josie remains steadfast in how she wants to proceed, but when things get even more dangerous, she understands why Bear and the Sinners are men she can trust. And Bear is a man that has definite trust issues with women and this woman makes him question everything even as he’s falling in love with her.
Ms. Hanks has given us a book that is filled with friendships that are tested, suspense with the war between the two MC’s and a H/h that could literally spit nails at each other even as their attraction builds and builds until it crescendos with HAF scenes that had me fanning myself. And I’m even more invested in this series than I was before and I can’t wait to see what’s next for this group of alpha and sexy men that protect what’s theirs no matter what it cost!
This is the second book in the Sinners MC series. Bear and Josie's story can be red as a standalone but readers will have a greater understanding of the club's history if they read book one first. This book is written in first person with a dual POV.
I fell in love with Bear in book one and I was so glad to read his story. He is a big, gruff guy with a drive to protect his brotherhood, his club, and the people he loves. He has a hidden heart of gold. Josie is perfect for him. The girl is full of sass with a drive to look after the children in her care. She is smart, though she occasionally puts herself in danger without realizing it. She has a lot to learn about the MC. Their attraction is intense and I loved the heat between them.
The story has suspense, heat, and elements of mystery. Trouble has a way of finding the sinners. I loved that I got to know Bull better in this book. I cannot wait for his story. I loved seeing Race and Becs (their story is next). I really enjoyed seeing Maggie and Gunner together, especially seeing how much Maggie has grown and come out of her shell. There are some intense moments and some descriptions of violence. I am sold on this author. I love her writing style and I definitely recommend this series to readers who like a steamy MC romance where the club is trying to stay within the law.
I’m addicted to this series! End Game is Bear’s story and is the second book in the Sinners MC series but can be read as a stand alone.
Jennifer wastes no time jumping into the drama and we get action straight away that had me hooked! The story has it all...drama, sass, banter, suspense, angst and emotions flying everywhere.
What started as a good deed for Josie turned into a battle of feelings with Bear where there is hurt, love and some major chemistry. Josie is the perfect heroine. She is feisty, full of sass and doesn’t stand down to Bear. For Bear, it started as guilt because he believed he should have protected and did his best to stay away for Josie’s safety. He quickly realised this wasn’t going to work for him as he couldn’t stay away. Their story wasn’t all hearts and flowers, it was full of emotion, confusion and hurt but that all less to their HEA and the story was perfect for them.
Jennifer is a new author to me but she is the queen of MC. I loved how we not only got Josie’s story but we got updates on Maggie and Gunner, as well as all the other side characters. She also set it up well for when each side characters gets their own book. I cannot wait now for book to find out why Be s and Race don’t get on and hopefully they finally get together.
Jennifer Hanks is one of my go-to authors, and she has yet to disappoint me. There is something about her writing that draws me in and won't let me go. I stayed up way too late because I could not put this book down.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, and I am leaving it spoiler free so work with my vagueness in spots.
Bear and Josie meet because of a good deed Josie has done. Then something terrible happens to her, and Bear feels responsible for her now. However, he doesn't want to. He feels this intense connection to her, but fights in at every turn. Josie feels that same connection, but is extremely apprehensive of Bear and his MC. One thing I love about Hanks, is that even while the characters may feel inadequate or unsure of their choices, they still have a strong sense of self and a quiet confidence about them. We saw this with Josie, and while there were times were I wish the story took a different turn, I loved that she was secure in her choices whether it was the right choice for her or not. There is an amazing set of supporting characters, and gives us glimpses into the next book without throwing it in our faces. I am excited to see where Hanks takes us next!
As with every Jennifer Hanks book, I fell in love with the story from the very first page. So... I hope you’re ready to take a ride back into the town of New Hope, North Carolina!
The chemistry. The angst. The tension. The passion. Did I mention the HEAT?!
There couldn’t be a more perfect match for Bear than the strong, stubborn, caring women that is Josie Carmichael. Don’t get me started on the sass. And Bear’s smirks, oh my god. There’s a fine line between love and hate, and this book proves it! Especially when there’s so. Much. Heat!
Just like all of Jennifer Hanks’ books, this is a must read! I highly recommend it! End Game is the second book in the Sinners MC series, but can be read as a standalone. Never would I have picked up a romance novel about a Motorcycle Club, until the day Jennifer Hanks announced she was releasing book 1 of the Sinners MC series. I suggest reading all of her books because the connections throughout all of them are amazing. Absolutely obsessed with Jennifer Hanks’ writing!
You wouldn’t think doing a good deed for the day would put you in danger, but that’s exactly what happens to Josie Carmichael. Stopping to help a pregnant driver stranded at the side of the road sees Josie thrown right into the middle of the Sinners MC’s drama and ending up in hospital.
Bear, the president of the MC feels fully responsible for what’s happened to Josie and decides it would be for the best if she were under the clubs protection, however Josie’s obstinate determination to refuse said protection sees her and Bear going head to head with one another, the tension oozes from the pages as these two try to deny their attraction towards each other, well some would say tension, I call it foreplay.
Bear and Josie encounter various obstacles and potentially dangerous situations as they navigate their way through their time together and despite initially trying their hardest to resist one other they give in to their desires proving that the heart wants what the heart wants.
Hanks has gifted us readers with another fantastic, intriguing and unpredictable storyline filled with drama, suspense, great banter and HOT men, there’s great females too. I can’t recommend End Game enough and look forward to what’s to come.
This is the 2nd book in this intriguing series and is Bear and Josie’s journey. Bear is the President of the Sinners’ and is determined to get the club clean and in a different digestion from they used to be. Josie is fairy new in town and when she tries to do a good deed, she finds herself under the Sinner’s protection as she is now a target for the clubs’ enemies. Bear and Josie are complete opposites and from the moment they meet the sparks fly and they as like petrol and a match, with Bear thinking Josie is opinionated, obstinate, and judgemental, while she things he is infuriating and overbearing, but can they deny the intense chemistry between them? This is a well written seamless storyline with danger suspense, angst, drama, witty banter, loyalty, intrigue, and love, which all leads to an unpredictable and steamy read. I was totally captivated throughout this riveting and all-consuming tale, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all MC lovers.
End Game: Sinners MC Book 2 by Jennifer Hanks is packed full of feels.
I absolutely love that Hanks allows her heroines to be so full of sass and determination and self confidence. And Josie definitely embodies all of this.
And then, she gives us the perfect alpha male. Bear is the MC president and the complete package when it comes to strong both physically and mentally sharp.
He is determined to protect both his club and the woman who unexpectedly fell into his life.
They both face obstacles that could cost them both their lives.
But with determination and the support of his brothers, and their friends, there is no room to give up.
I also love the glimpses we get of Becs, Maggie, and Gunner.
Nothing like a phenomenal supporting cast to make a book come together, and make the reader feel like they’re a part of the action.
A great MC series that can be read as a standalone.
I'm totally in love with the Sinners MC, and End Game is only the second book, so I'm going to need the highly addictive Jennifer Hanks to get to work releasing them quicker because I NEED more. Josie is a girl who doesn't understand MC life, and she's very stubborn to boot so when it's up to Bear, the President of the MC, to give her protection, so the battle lines are drawn. Man these two were very entertaining and yet, frustrating with the push & pull. It's always exhausting when two people who are perfect together playing games because they won't accept what will end up happening. And Bear & Josie have insane sparks flying everywhere. The twists are f-bomb worthy, the sexy times are HOT AS HELL, the drama comes right out of the gate, and the questions I'm left with have me going crazy already. So yeah, End Game was the perfect read in my eyes, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Chapter1 WOW bullets everywhere and a stand down to the NEW Prez who wants to change the club to legally. Bear is the new Prez and he makes everything legal now and support the town. The darkness of their clubs past still at the lingers over them. There are a surprises and they broke my heart 💔😭
Josie is a child psychologist and she is super passionate about her job. She truely cares for the kids. She very strong headed and independent.
Hence why Bear and Josie bang heads cause they are both head strong people.
There romance to me was slow and I will admit the suspense and action made up for it. Very enemies to lovers. The last chapter tells there is MORE TO COME in this small town now that a new MC is in town.
☆Really Recommend☆
P.s my suspense shelf on goodreads has gone missing. By the way this is suspense romance
End Game by Jennifer Hanks is the second book in the Sinners MC series.
It would have been 5 stars for me if the characters had been more solid.
I went right into this book after Sweet Revenge and now I need more!! I was so curious about Bear. He's the strong, stubborn, sexy and silent type. Oh that doesn't last long when Josie shows up. These two are so much alike and yet can't get past their opposing feels. The slow burn and chemistry is strong in this book. If you dig enemies to lovers this will be truly rewarding. I loved seeing all the characters from the first Sinners plus delving deeper into a specific few. Again, I'm excited for more and while I wait for book 3 I'm off to read Elite Securities, which has a lot of crossover with End Game.
I fell in love with Bear during the DiMarco series and I couldn’t wait for him to get his book. He definitely lives up to his name. As President of the Sinners MC he has The weight of the world on his shoulders and after meeting Josie and the unfortunate circumstances of her first visit to the clubhouse have left Bear in the worst place for him to be, having no control. The angst in this book made me wanna throw my Kindle more times than I can count! But it was so worth it in the end. I can’t wait for Race and Bec’s book.
Omg Jennifer Hanks just keeps writing amazing stories. I've been waiting for bears story for a while now and she didnt disappoint. Bear is the president of his MC club, sinners MC. Josie is a sweet girl. She a child psychologist. Josie and bear meet under bad circumstances. I won't say anymore with out giving away to much. This was Jennifer Best yet and this series is frigging awesome. Can't wait to read the next book.
Bear and Josie was just the angsty book I was craving. Having met Bear before in Jennifer's books you know he's a gruff, no bs kind of guy. Then he's met with Josie, who is also a straight shooter and won't take Bear's help when needed. Not used to the MC World, Josie is thrust in to the mix of it and not a fan. You get to see some characters from from the Dimarco family and a few of the Elite Security boys as well making this one of my favorite to date books from Jennifer Hanks!
I really liked It's Complicated so thought I would give another Hanks novel a go. However.... 1) too much DiMarco, like way too much. 2) ultimately Bear/John and Josie are great characters BUT they don't work well together at all. She would have been better off with someone in Security or construction not an MC. And he needed someone with more shades of grey. 3) not at all interested in Hawk and Bree or Kat and Bull.
#bksbloggingandreviews
Josie is attacked for no reason other than being at the wrong place. Bear takes her attack hard and is determined to keep her safe but Josie won’t have it. This battle between these two is spectacular to see. Excellent writing. Fabulous storyline.
ARC Review The Dragon Den * * * Love me some MC Romance action. Josie herself is an incredibly strong woman and I love her character. As much as I love it when women instantly melt into the arms of men, she was stubborn and self-managing...though there was no denying the attraction to Bear. It was fantastic. Happy that I went into this series.
A good deed leads her into a world of hurt. But that hurt once healed will find a new reason to love. Love good, love hard… if that’s the end game chosen. What will Josie choose?
End Game is a fun read with exceptional characters. The story line is intriguing and unpredictable. Bear likes to have things controlled and protected. Josie isn’t about to be either of those. Unwilling to fall in line with Bear’s expectations, these two will run circles around each other. Their chemistry is off the charts which adds more fuel to the fire! Definitely fun for the reader!!
End Game is part 2 of a series, it can be read as a standalone, as the author does a great job bring the reader up to date, but I am always an advocate for reading book one to have the best background of the characters and the ongoing story plots.
A great read!! I especially loved the crossover with the Dimarco books. This book gives us plenty of the Dimarco characters to revisit, as well as, some yummy Sinner MC men.
This was a really good book. The hero and heroine are both incredibly stubborn people, and the heroine is not having it. There were a couple surprises along the way, and the introduction of a new person whose motives aren't clear. I really enjoyed all of the things going on in this book, and I can't wait to read the next one.
Book 2 in the series.... Bear and Josie! The chemistry is off the charts between these two and opposites really do attract in this book! One of my favorite things was that the relationship between these two wasn’t rushed .... great storyline and nils of the love story between these two! Also, loved that Josie was a strong heroin! A must read!
An okay read that had more potential to be really good. Characters were okay but just didn’t get a strong feeling of an mc that knew where it was going and the war with the other mc left me confused at times. The women again weren’t stupid but didn’t really shine either. An okay read but I’ll leave the series as is.
