If you want a set of cute images that fit into a group of themes that will give you options you can use year round, this book is a good choice. I like that the themes cover so much including holidays. I also find the images on the back of each page connected to the theme so you can figure that out even though it is not written. The paper is thick yet my brush pens leaked right through them so depending on the media you use to color, that might be an issue. I wish the pages were perforated so they could be removed easily because it is difficult to lay the pages flat.

Every once in awhile it is good to go into the 'kawaiiverse' just to feel a little bit better about the way things really are. This book will appeal to both young and old alike; just immerse yourself in a place where everything is happy to see you. I wonder what Plato would say about a kawaii theory of Forms!
