Sea of Words, Waves of Time is Cameron R. Blair's first publication, encapsulating nearly thirty years of writing. Readers can follow his personal growth and reinvention first-hand, and be inspired to delve into their own inner workings.
A collection of short-form poetry, observations, and lyrics, each of Blair's pieces is uniquely categorized in place and time. While the concepts in this collection are largely universal, the work will appeal especially to Canadian audiences, as the location in which each poem was conceptualized ranges across the country, from British Columbia to Halifax and many places in between.
Blair's work provides a real and insightful look at the world-both internal and external. Blair explores concepts such as fatherhood, marriage, and love and lust; he reflects on childhood trauma and provides political, cultural, and environmental commentary. A celebration of a life-one that encourages inclusion and diversity-Blair's work also highlights some of his life's challenges, such as living with ADHD. The collection explores themes of sexuality and rediscovery and is intended to spark self-reflection in its readers, as the author experienced during its writing.
Cameron R. Blair is a civil engineer, technical writer, and self-published author. His life has led him to live in cities across Canada and allowed him to travel abroad to places such as Brazil, Ecuador, and the United States. Despite growing up with challenges with reading, writing, and comprehension, Blair has found English to be among the subjects he most enjoys. Blair spent decades capturing his experiences at each new place and time in his life through poetry, as well as using writing as a tool for self-reflection and healing. When not composing poetry or music, Blair can be found competing in long-distance swimming events, lifting weights, biking, or hiking. He lives in Mississauga, Ontario with his two children and dog.

My favorite part of the book were pomes in section Lyric Verse with the poems: I Like to Roam which was written in Coquitlam British Columbia summer 1993, Dreams Combine written in Kingston Ontario in 1992 and many others from this and other sections. Book is designed beautifully that is meant to be read as hard cover to get the best of it.
I congratulate Cameron Blair for noting beautiful places in Canada and sharing with us such a variety of Canadian as well as love and personal poetry.
