I very much enjoyed Kumasagi Part 3: Wife. It is the best in the series thus far, beating out the others in quality of prose, pacing of summary versus scene, the intrigue of the plot, and of characterization in general. I was gripped by the story throughout, and even side characters which I wasn’t interested in before I found to be likeable. I can say with sincerity that I am very much looking forward to discovering the mystic surprises and dangers of Part 4: Sindhupat.

Picking up where the last story left off we get to know more about Jayan's wife Asta, and how she's coping with life in the outside world. There is a great deal of mystery as to what lies ahead. I enjoyed the story, and am looking forward to the next.

How cool to find a new author with the creativity and courage to create a new world. Characters are great and the alternative world Leslee Sheu has created is unique, bring on Sindhupat.
