John Trent is a master at the delicate balance of teaching biblical truths to kids and making them laugh. Who else would have written about the nest swamp ever--filled with animals that didn't normally belong together--like hippos and crabs, alligators and bunnies? Yet who were the best of friends? Kids will laugh at the absurdity of hippos hogging, alligators snapping at the bunnies who brush their teeth or the frogs who steal licks off others' ice cream cones. But it is the "Superhero Maker" with the big GMUASH on his costume that turns things around. The animals finally learn that it is best to treat each other with love and respect, the way God intended. One last question--what is does GMUASH mean? "God Made Us All Superheros!"

As the theme says, God Makes Us All Super-Heroes. It is an excellent book for children who like superheroes. It has a lot of words, so may not be the best for beginning readers, but with a parent reading it with them, they will still enjoy it.
