Rate this book
The Human Anatomy Coloring Book is an affordable anatomy class. This easy learning study aid contains careful, scientifically accurate line renderings of the body's organs and major systems: skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, nervous, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, lymphatic, and skin.

Hundreds of specialized organs, bones, muscles, nerve fibers, blood vessels, and other anatomical features can be absorbed and understood by means of an ingenious format: a coloring book that can help mature children and adult colorists learn anatomy . It is an excellent educational tool for EMT, medical and nursing students, homeschoolers, biology teachers for classroom learning, and anyone interested in studies of the human body and its anatomy.

" I was given this book many years ago by an instructor when I took my EMT basic course. She gives this book to every student because the drawings are so clear and well marked. She said she is yet to find better diagrams in any textbook she's seen. Now I am going to college for Radiation Therapy and I have to take many Human Biology and Anatomy and Physiology courses. I dug this book out of my EMT storage. The diagrams are much better than that of my textbooks. I am back to studying from a coloring book for my exams !" — Rhonda, Syracuse, NY

This is a good beginning to intermediate coloring book to learn internal parts of the body like bones, muscles, main arteries and veins, parts of the brain and body areas the spinal cord corresponds to/controls, etc. Some mechanics are also illustrated and explained like the mechanics of breathing and swallowing, reflexes, etc. Organs are also illustrated and discussed. You'll need to read some modern research about the appendix, as the book is out-of-date concerning it. I liked the section on scarring and cooling of the skin. :-) Overall, this is a good, basic book that is great for homeschooling or adults wanting to learn some foundational knowledge about the body without going TOO in depth.

I used this to memorize all the bones, muscles, arteries and veins along with the other systems' parts and pieces. Coloring the different parts made it visually organized which helped to memorize it easily.

It's been a long time since I took A&P in college so I wanted to brush up before taking it again for my nursing program. I feel this book prepared me!

This one got me through all of my undergrad anatomy and kinesiology. It was good then and makes an even better resource for me as personal trainer and fitness coach. Who knew that the simple act of "coloring" could be so important?

Great coloring book to prepare for Anatomy class. A nurse friend of mine introduced me to it. She is now a massage therapist on the side, and still refers to it on occasion. Great study help.
