Little Bear has a clever mom . . . she can do almost anything! She roars, skates, swims like a fish . . . and she’s never afraid of the dark. But Little Bear knows the thing she does very best of all. Can you guess what it is?

A charming book in which a child celebrates his mother’s specialness. The soft, warm illustrations are a perfect accompaniment to the simple rhyming text. Cuddle up and read this one together.

Highly recommended.

Genre: poetry

This book is a sweet simple poetry book about a mommy and a baby bear. This book may be relatable to a lot of students, but it is a good one to have on the shelf if you are introducing poetry to your little ones.

This book is one that I got for my mom back in elementary school. Reading it again brings so much warmth to my heart. It is a great book for a mom and child to read together. The illustrations are adorable and it is a cute story about how the baby cub looks up to it's mom.

Other than the fact it should be "My Mom and I," (I know, it's a kids perspective, so I'm not too hung up on that), it's a cute story with beautiful illustrations. We read it a lot, and spend quite a bit of time admiring the pictures.

I think five stars because her and her mom took a walk together and made a string of flowers together. They roar in the cave. What did you think of it

Me and My Mom is a sweet picture book for a very young audience, ages 2-4. It is a book with simple colors and simple, soft images of a baby bear cub and his mother. It is a simple story about a mother and her cub, and they go places together. I rated the book with only 1 star because I found the rhymes to be simple and almost cliché, and I did not feel that there was a lot of work involved with writing it. The illustration is not catchy to the eye, and there is not a climax or a antagonist in the book. I feel that any book should have a clear story line with a hero, antagonist, protagonist, and a climax. Eric Carle has written a book wit only 3 words ("Are You My Friend), and it has all of those things - it is possible, and just because a book is written for children, doesn't mean that it should have any less then the best. Children deserve the best, not just something to get the job done in a mediocre way, and I feel that this book was mediocre at best.

Mommies and their little ones spend all day together. Is it possible that toddlers mimic everything they see their mommies do? Well, of course!

Author Alison Ritchie and illustrator Alison Edgson have combined their awesome talents and put together a warm and loving story for parents and their toddlers to share. Warm friendly colors are inviting as toddlers follow a baby bear and mommy bear play with flowers, listen to their echoes as they explore a cave, pick apples, swim with fish and snuggle down for the night.

We glide through the water,
and I make a wish
That one day, like Mom,
I will swim like a fish!

Parents and daycare providers can use this wonderful Tiger Tales book as a tool to teach colors, shapes, movement and objects. The small book with its soft padding is a great way to show toddlers how to handle a book. Simple sentences make for a quick read at bedtime.

This book is about a cub and his/her mom. The cub follows his/her mom and does what she does. The cub explains how mom can do everything in such a perfect way. Cub is able to do many of the things mom does but cub always thinks mom’s way is better. This book shows the idea of looking up to someone as a role model.
This book would also be great to introduce a type of rhyming scheme. This book uses that ABCB pattern. This can be used and have students point out the rhyming words/scheme used.

This is a beautifully illustrated book. It is a precious little story about a mother bear and her cub that follows her around and does things with her all day. This book is simple yet meaningful and would be especially fitting for a single mother. Each page has a simple rhyme about something that the mother and cub do together.

This book is lovely to read. Great story telling book for the foundation stage nursery and reception classes. This is a good book to use with children to test their comprehension page by page and to extract their ideas of what things are going on in the pictures. The language used is very simple and easy to follow.
