Le commentaire sur l'apocalypse de Victorin (IVe siècle) est intéressant pour quiconque se demande comment l'église ancienne interprétait ce livre, mais pour ma part ses allégories acrobatiques m'ont fatigués.

It's an old translation of a (very) old book, but I found it enlightening and entertaining. This is the oldest extant commentary on the book of Revelation, and it is interesting to see how Victorinus' comments and approach compare to modern commentaries. Well worth the time if there is any interest in the history of Biblical interpretation.

A Worthy Read

This book gives insight into what the early Church thought about the Book of Revelation. While we may not agree with the writer's understanding, he does bring out some points that we normally do not hear. This is not a lengthy read but it is a book that should be read by all those who have an interest in the Book of Revelation.
