My first encounter with the English language!
PRECIOUS GIFT
This "pictionary" (which is basically a dictionary using pictures) was a gift from my Grandad (from my dad's side of the family) and it was my very first encounter with the English language.
Of course, I neede a little bit more than this to be able to read English written prose novels like I do nowadays, but hey! We need to start somewhere!
And definitely this was my beginning in the English language.
And I still have it!
I has gorgeous artwork that definitely it generates an engaging feeling to learn if you're a kid, like a I was when I got the book from my Grandad.
I just sorry that he was gone too soon (when I was 6 years old) to realize the key starting point that he gave me for the great amount of English written prose novels that I already read in my adulthood years.
