And actually, prayer has become a repetitive and tedious task for us! What’s wrong with our prayers?! What can we do for our prayers to help us to grow and have an effect on us?If the people who pray, pray well, those who don’t pray will fall in love with praying. We consider the sins of all those who don’t pray to be the fault of those who pray. Why? Because, if those who pray, pray well, enjoy their prayers enough and gain ample benefit from them, naturally most of those who don’t pray will gravitate toward praying. This is the way to promote religion. If we wish to struggle to encourage those who don’t pray to pray, the best way is to first pay more attention to our own prayers and to improve them.

Beautiful
I finished this book in 4 hours, and this fact alone is enough to sum up how much I enjoyed it.
There is litteraly nothing negative to be said about it excepted maybe some parts that may have been translated better.
The whole book is a incredibly easy read, and a very enriching one. The message is delivered with the kindness, simplicity and spiced by little bits of humour that Cheikh Panahian made us used to, without it being too much.
The subject is a very serious one but it has been treated in a very comprehensive way
It's a pleasure to have been able to read an english version of his work, it seems that a next book has been hinted at the end ? I can only hope that it is the case Incha Allah

I am so disappointed with this book, I think maybe it is because i read the translation or something. But the idea that praying shouldn’t be based on love is my biggest hurdle. I, myself, now have been praying for many years. i got closer to pray a better prayer is by praying with my heart, out of love.
It is a really easy to understand, when you love someone so much, you will definitely do everything they want. And what about the Lord who created us out of His love and mercy. Prayer for me is being in love with Allah (swt).
I had so many problems with the intonation in this book, the way certain ideas were presented, I simply do not agree to see Allah (swt) as a Lord who is forcing us to do stuff. Literally everything obligatory for us in life is beneficial. Prayer made me a disciplined person, it made me take time to be away from the worldly desires and being submerged in having a connection to my Creator.
Yes we have to have some, adaab (politeness) when praying and i think those examples were very beneficial, but overall very very very poor execution of something that had so much potential….
Don’t get me wrong i am trying to understand the author's motive, nonetheless it was imo not helpful at all, it gave me more the idea that i am far away from doing my prayers in a correct manner. I am, fully aware that i am nowhere close to perfecting my prayer but i am constantly trying to improve. And this book didn’t add up anything valuable for me.
If you want to have a better book, read 101 ways to concentrate in prayer, lovely book with a lot of helpful duaa’s and ways to take another route to try to pray a good prayer.

Probably the best book to getting closer to Allah
Really great and easy to understand with actual practical advices to improve prayer which in turn will improve the quality of your life.

it's been a while now since I finished this book but I can safely say this has changed my outlook on prayer and the prayer itself forever! Sheikh Panahian has a wonderful ability to convey his message in a very accessible but beautiful way that really sticks with you.
