She will risk everything to rescue her friend.

Frankie’s BFF and four-year-old son are trapped inside a fanatical militia’s compound. In Alaska, no less. Wilderness rescues are so not in the New Yorker’s skill set. But she’ll figure it out. She must.

Bull’s new roadhouse server is a mass of contradictions.

The city girl’s reasons for being in Alaska don’t add up. Bull’s been

The third book in Cherise Sinclair’s captivating Sons of the Survivalist series is the story of a young woman who comes to Alaska to save her best friend and her son from the grips of a fanatical militia group, only to end up falling in love with a protective, Alaskan mountain of man who shows her everything that has been missing in her life thus far. Cherise Sinclair is a master of characterization, her intense attention to detail bringing her characters to life in a way that they always feel a ...more

I adore all things Cherise. Her books are an auto buy for me always. And while I live for her emotionally charged BDSM, her suspenseful contemporary has been hitting the spot quite nicely for me.

I can't say that I loved this book, but I did like it quite a bit. What I love is Sinclair's ability to create these imperfect characters that have an amazing balance of flaws and inner strength. Bull is a bit of manwhore, and he has multiple failed marriages behind him that don't exactly make him

It’s always a immense pleasure to visit Rescue,Alaska.
Because that’s where Mako’s sons live, and those men are to die for,só good!
They’re the kind of men i adore, strong, loyal, caring and with a good sense of humor.
Even though they sometimes have trouble dealing with their past.

Gabe and Caz already found the perfect woman, and now Bull is finding his other half, too. Frankie is an Italian girl, born and raised in New York.
She loves her family, but feels like they rule her life. Especially since she

This book is everything! Suspense, humor, love, heat, and so much more. The world that Ms Sinclair has created just keeps getting better and better. I absolutely love the H/h pairing. Bull and Frankie are absolutely perfect for each other. Frankie is under appreciated by her family but doesn’t truly realize it until she arrives in Rescue. She is a sassy little spitfire and exactly what Bull needs to keep him on his toes and she fits in perfectly with the family. I love her drive to succeed and h ...more

There's a reason Cherise Sinclair is one of my idols - she always captivates me and leaves me turning the pages frantically to find out what happens next. I loved getting to see Bull's squishy side and him finally getting the kind of woman he needs in Frankie. Frankie is a fantastic heroine - strong, generous, and maybe a little too giving. She's the kind of best friend every woman wishes for and reading her story was an absolute joy.

Of course, now I'm waiting on pins and needles for Hawk and K

What do you get when you mix a New Yorker, fanatical militants and a Bull in the Alaskan wilderness? One heck of a story.

The running plot of the Patriot Zealots comes front and center when Frankie Borcelli gets a message that her best friend and her young son are being held inside the cult compound and she fears for both their lives. Frankie waste no time in leaving NY for Alaska to find a way to rescue her friend and her godson.

Rescue Alaska is where Bull Peleki and his 3 “brothers” were rais

These books are always so much fun to read, mostly because the guys are so dumb struck by the women, all of them never thought they would find someone that could deal with the amount of baggage they have. So when they do they aren't quite sure what to do and the women are all so strong that putting up with the men is nothing for them compared to what they get in return.

I loved that Frankie was all in to help her friend when she reached out for help. She didn't really give it a second thought, ju

WHAT YOU SEE is the third book in Cherise Sinclair’s Sons of the Survivalist series. So this is Bull’s book and honestly, I wasn’t sure that he’s my favorite of the series. I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series so far, so I didn’t really have super high expectations of Bull based on what we know of him in the past books. But I was surprised to see myself enjoying his character a bit more.

The same goes with Frankie. There’s quite a bit of action and suspense with tons of emotio

And another winner coming up!

I will never be tired to say loud and clear that this author has an incredible talent to pull you into the story to the point you don’t want to stop reading to know what happens next.

It is pure joy to read this author.

In this book, some may be triggered by abusivement, conjugal and kids violence. That is heavy. Those are not about the heroine or heroes. Secondary characters. Still, it was, as usual, described tactfully and not gruesome.

The love story is totally reali

What You See is the third AMAZINGLY THRILLING book in Cherise Sinclair's Sons Of The Survivalist series and is Bull's story. And what a fantastic, compelling, and soul melting romance it was too! Bull and Frankie are a truly phenomenal team. Bull is a gorgeous giant of a hero with true kindness, sizzling sex appeal, heart melting protective instincts and is truly a one of a kind hero. And Frankie is the absolute BEST damn h

Whether she’s writing about a BDSM club in Florida or a tiny town in Alaska, Cherise Sinclair is always magic. What You See is the fourth book in the Sons of the Survivalist series and is a total delight from captivating start to rousing finish. While this is ostensibly Bull’s story, it is actually more about Frankie, who is a total departure from most of Cherise’s heroines. Where most of them are insecure about their looks, Frankie knows she’s pretty and has a remarkable personality. While she ...more

One of my favourite authors and a cameo from one of my favourite dominants in the Shadowlands series. CS always has relatable heroines that get on with it. Frankie is no exception. She is everything you want in a heroine and Bull, well we all want one of them! He knew she was it for him and kept making it easier and easier for her to fall for him. I loved the clever dog because again, we all want a protective cuddly bear and this heroine got two!

3.5 Stars. Another well done book in the series. Adventure, love, family, it has it all. I think I've liked this one the best so far in the series. Looking forward to the next book.

It seems to take the author about a year to get the next book in this series out. I hope it goes faster and that she does the book for Hawk justice and I hope that Felix will get a book, too.

I love the author and one click anything she writes. What You See is another example of why I love the author as well as this series. Bull and Frankie didn't start as friends but that quickly morphed into more. I loved how they were able to work together at the bar/restaurant and in their personal lives. Their relationship was hot!
The overall storyline was interesting and kept me reading without setting the book down.

I love this Survivalist series. Cherise is so good at hooking you into a story and for the length of time you are reading, you are enveloped by the characters. Can’t wait for Hawk’s story. ❤️❤️
It was OK. A bit cheesy. There was also a bit too much violence for my taste. I did like the main characters, though.

What You See is book three in the Sons of the Survivalist series by Cherise Sinclair. Frankie ended up in Rescue Alaska after receiving a letter from her friend Kit, asking for help. On arrival, in Rescue, Frankie was luck to find work and a place to stay. However, the owner of the Roadhouse Bull cause Frankie unwondered problems while she finds a way to save her friend, Kit. Just lke the previous books in Cherise Sinclair's Sons of the Survivalist series, What You See met every single one of my expectations and in fact, exceeded them. Stellar characters, suspense with some great edge of your seat moments, danger, fast paced action and of course lots of sizzle. I didn't want to put it down. So I didn't, until I'd read it cover to cover.

I loved both Frankie and Bull. She's a big city girl with a loyalty streak a mile wide who treks to middle of nowhere Alaska, otherwi

This is Bull's story. If you haven't read the others in the series I'd suggest reading them first to avoid spoilers.
This was a good and enjoyable read, with the obvious romance starting off with Frankie not liking her new boss Bull but as they get to know each other she thaws towards him and then things get hot between them.
Meanwhile Frankie is actually in Rescue to rescue her college friend, who has got herself entangled with the Patriot Zealots, a cult that has a misogynist streak a mile wide

Welcome to Rescue Alaska!

Where the four brothers help their town and it's residents.

Bull the tall dark Samoan of the brothers. Quiet, intimidating yet a sweetheart to those whom have won his loyalty and trust.

This story had me on edge for almost the whole thing! I just knew, knew, it was going to be bad when the things that needed to happen, happened. I could feel Frankie’s frustration, concern, care, and worry, and I was right there with her. I could also feel her guilt as she fell for Bull, and I mean, how could you not fall for Bull. And Gryff, I mean, a more perfect dog could not exist for these two. A nice slow burn and then fireworks on the attraction and execution of said attraction. Then all ...more
I wish I had liked What You See more. I did like Frankie and Bull's relationship and the interactions with Mako's boys. But, I was more invested in rescuing Kit and her son from the PZs than the romance. Obviously, the rescue happened, and the aftermath was well handled, but every glimpse of Nabera's point of view made me more anxious. I also think the "situation" with Harvey, and its significance, was downplayed and not resolved well. Oh well.

Edited to add: we got a lot of Frankie's backstory,
I enjoyed this book. Bull and Frankie were likable and relatable. I usually get sympathetic anxiety when I read books about people who leave their homes and families and lives, but the author was able to show (not tell) that this was not a sacrifice for the h.
I liked the love story as well as the suspense portion of the book. I liked that she was able to incorporate the previous MCs into the current story without taking away from it. There are quite a few authors who should take some lessons in

Ten Stars. No, make it twenty? Nah, a million, Yes, a million stars!
I really hate coming to "The End" of Ms. Sinclair's stories. They are so well written and told that you feel as though you are a part of them. In this case a part of Rescue, Alaska.
I love when a town pulls together to help each other out. Sometimes all it takes is one family to start the forward effect. One family helping others, and then that family helping others and pretty soon you have a town of people w

What you See by Cherise Sinclair, is the third book in the Sons of Survivalist. I have liked all books in this series and I think this book is the best so far. Another great release in this series for Cherise Sinclair.

These Sons of the Survivalist boys are something else. So big, strong, & troubled but possess a heart of pure gold. And the women they fall for? Totally priceless. This is #3 in the series and each one just keeps getting better and better. Can not wait to read what she does with Hawk since he is the most troubled of the four.
