Thomas O’Grady - more commonly known as Tog - followed in his father’s footsteps to become a career soldier - until one day he woke up screaming in a hospital bed. Evacuated from the battle zone and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Tog has to try and find his way back to normal. Along his journey of discovery and coming to terms with his injuries, he finds out more about mental health issues, veteran experiences, and his own family history - and more specifically, how his father’s death affected all those around him. Mental health is an issue we should all be more aware of, and Tog has to learn the hard way, not knowing if he will ever recover.
Some very poignant themes that I think should be discussed more, and an interesting way of exploring PTSD from all persepctives and how everyone around the condition can be affected
