How do you say goodbye to the one who holds your heart?
Payne Emerson should never have been behind the wheel, or on that stretch of road. It’s all my fault. The nightmare I feared most has come true and the boy I love is paying for my mistakes.

No matter how loud my screams or how deafening the sound of my heartbreak, he can’t hear me.

I am alone in this fight.
But I am fierc

Book 4 in the Folkestone Sins series was just as good as every book before it. Like, seriously!
This book starts up right where book 3 left off... After that major cliffhanger.

I absolutely ADORE both Payne and Sunday. Even the moments they made poor decisions and made me question so many things. Everyone can tell that they are destined to be together. They just have a tough time putting their own securities to the side. They have something special and it feels so real. Makes you want to root fo

Omfg!!! Send help, because this just left me in a huge book hangover. This picks up where Restless Things ended. Payne and Sunday's story is my favorite. There's so much angst, so much secrets in this little town of Folkstone. That cliffhanger, I am so wanting more. This cannot be read as a standalone. It's best to start from the very beginning with Poe and Stella's story.

I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review

I.. I literally have so many theories right now after reading this book.

Holy sh$t, this book was intense! I saw how short it was and thought not much was gonna happen. Boy, was I wrong about that! So much crap went down in this book.

I loved reading this so much, even though I may have cried a few times and also wanted to scream at Sunday and Payne. 🤦‍♀️

There are so many heartbreaking moments in this book. Sunday has such a sad backstory and I hated that she felt she wasn’t good enough for Pay

And she's done it again.
Jesus what a book.
I'm actually not to say much, as don't want to give anything away after the ending of the last book, as it's best experienced first hand.
I will say that she should officially be given the title queen of cliffhangers. (Not a spoiler as she's noted it at the front of the book, plus she's done it every book, so of course this one would be no different)
Yet again so much happens within the pages of this masterfully written book, you'll be turning pages at a f

And we’re back in Folkestone, where elite teenage angst meets cloak and dagger family secrets, legacies, and corruption. The heirs drama continues to evolve, but given all of the painful drama that left us hanging in Sunday and Payne’s first book, the heirs’ machinations are the least of their worries- our lovable besties turned hesitant lovers are broken, in more ways than one, and it is unclear just if they can ever be the same again.

This story went in a direction I wasn’t expecting-it’s a mu

Omfg I’m not ok with that ending! Nope! Nope! Nope!

I’m not going to say much about his book because I feel it will spoil it for others who are waiting to find out what’s going on.

“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙢,”

My heart breaks for Sunday so so much. She has been through so much with what happened to Payne, having absent parents and a brother who died. She just feels like she’s never good enough for anyone. Stella is and amazing BFF though and I’m so glad Sunday has her in her life, to get her through some

The fourth book in the Folkestone sins book did not disappoint! It follows on straight from the cliffhanger in book three and dives into the drama instantly.

I really love this series! The characters are super interesting and there’s so many secrets and mystery going on in the background that it keeps you completely hooked.

Book three and four followed Sunday & Payne and I loved them just as much as Stella & Poe. I love stories like this where the friends are all together and each book is a diffe

Exciting captivating story!!!

OMG that ending!!! I don’t even know what to do with myself ! This right here is why I love Samantha’s writing so much because just when you think you have it figured out you really have no clue what is going to happen next ! Finally we get to the bottom of Sunday and Payne’s problems we get a lot of answers but so much more questions arise or still need answering there is still so much going on in the background that we don’t have answered yet with the Folkestone H

Ruined Things is the second part of Sunday and Payne’s story. I have been anxiously awaiting the continuation of their story and I can honestly say, I am in no way disappointed.

Ruined Things picks up right where Restless Things left off. This story sucks you in and doesn’t let go until you have read the entire book from cover to cover.

This book is full of suspense and mystery. Some questions have been answered, at the same time more have popped up.

OMG! I had my heart in my mouth, going into this book. If you’ve read previous books you will understand why. If you haven’t read them, you so need to read them.

I had so many emotions while reading. I needed to know what happens next with these characters. At the same time the suspense was killing me. This series just sucks you in. You can’t stop reading once you start. So good!

Holy moly what a ride! Ruined Things literally continues straight on from book three, Restless Things, and just as well after that incredible ending! 😆 The action and drama, though, continues non stop all the way through the book right up until the last page… holy heck, Batman, that last page! 😬 Talk about a cliffhanger and a half… fantastic stuff.

Payne and Sunday’s story continues and I honestly started to think I might need to give both a little shake. To be honest, they have been through some

The Folkestone Sins saga continues in RUINED THINGS Book Four with the continuation of Sunday and Payne's story. But all I could think about as I read this book was what a fantastic mini-series it would make! The intensity of feelings, kept secrets that come to light, questioning all that they know and surprises that shake the lives of this generation of the Heirs. The anticipation had me flipping the ebook pages. This story was a focus on Sunday and Payne with their close knit group of friends. ...more

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is book 4 in The Folkestone Sins Series and continues with Payne and Sundays story.

I love these characters so much! Have you ever read a story that gives you instant anxiety like your living through it yourself? Well, this is that series for me. I felt everything that they were doing. Payne you make me stabby and give me all the feels, and Sunday I just wanted to knock some sense into you for pushing Payne away!

Sunday and Payne. Oh these two! They drive me up the wall! GET IT TOGETHER!! Everyone in Folkestone knows y’all should be together, even us readers know!!!

Ok mini rant done. I’ve loved Sunday since the very first book and the more we get to know her, the more she steals a piece of my heart. She’s not just the fun loving bestie anymore. We get to see a much deeper part of her and it’s nothing short of beautiful.

My boy Payne plays a dangerous game in this one. So the questi

Samantha always manages to make me cry, laugh, and scream curse words during her books. I read this book in 6 hours, because I couldn’t get enough. Sunday and Payne’s story is funny, endearing, and I wanted to hit Payne for most of the book. He wants Sunday to love him, but goes about trying to convince her by making her jealous.

Sunday has been thru a lot…she thinks that she’s bad luck for Payne, and that by loving him and being with him…she’s opening herself up to be hurt. Everyone has left he

Once again I have been hurt but I loved the pain and the healing. This story may have taken me longer to get through but only because it brought up some
feelings and I was processing them the best I could. That speaks volumes to Samantha as a writer, making you face your fears and realize it’s okay to share things with the people who love and care about you. Just like Stella and Poe, the story about Sunday and Payne is weaved to have its ups and downs. Their pain felt real to me through and throu

I didn't dislike this one as much as the first part of the duet however, Sunday and Payne spend maybe, and this is a stretch, 1 hour together in various 5 minute angry, sullen, snarky, hurtful or lusty encounters throughout the whole book combined until the last few pages when they spend some time having sex.

I get that they have known each other their whole lives so it's not super important to show them getting to know each other, but the few minutes each time they were together never showed an

Ruined Things is book #4 in the Folkstone Sins series and cannot be read as a standalone. This one is the conclusion of Sunday and Payne's story. 4.75 Stars There's next to nothing I can say about the plot of this book without spoiling not only the previous book in this series, but probably the entire series as a whole. But what I will say is that this felt way too short, the tension was so high and we love to see some character growth. Sunday and Payne really do deserve the world. If you like suspenseful, drama filled stories that keep you on the edge of your seat with secrets, lies and more twists than a slinky, pick up the Folkstone Si ...more

So many emotions! I always expect to be left with a cliffhanger in this series, but this one was brutal.

I love the world of Folkestone. The secrets, the twist, the mystery, and all the deception that is playing out.

Ruined things is the conclusion to Sunday and Payne’s story, and what an epic ride it was. Sunday in her usual self destructive way spent the whole book, trying to convince herself she wasn’t good enough for anyone. Payne of course, used his cocky smurkiness, to try to convince Sund

I can't say enough good things about this second book for Payne and Sunday! I love these characters and their background! I love how Sunday fights her feelings to protect Payne from her perceived darkness and I love that Payne fights to get the girl. Wow! This book completely and utterly sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down. Their story is filled with drama, suspense and so many twists and turns you will practically look like a pretzel when you are done and asking yourself, what the heck did I just read and with the cliffhanger we are left with, now we wait, wait to get the answers we all need, they are fighters until the end. This is not a typical trope for me, but, I had read a blurb for the first in the series, and I was hooked. As I write this review for book 4, you know, I stayed hooked!

Amazingly written, complex story that had me feeling all sorts of feels! The mains, Payne and Sunday (don't you just love the names?) had me wearing my emotions on my sleeves. My spouse was like, "what is happening?!" LOL

This is even worth a second read I think!!!!

Way to grab a new fan Ms. Lovelock!!!

Ruined Things is the fourth book in Samantha Lovelock’s Folkestone Sins Series.

Sunday and Payne’s second book was filled with so much more emotion and secrets being revealed. The POV’s from these two characters was key to understanding their back and forth emotions and their true feelings.

Once again we are left with a cliffhanger and secrets still to be revealed, and I can’t wait to read Wounded Things.
