Adrienne Gage has spent her entire life being shunned and punished for her mouthy attitude, and being loyal to a pack which doesn't deserve her loyalty.

It was a nice enemies to lovers werewolf mate story. I loved how it developed. But the ending was sad. I wanted him to stay. But at least he'll come back to her. I love how she accepts him even when he kills Romanov after killing the bounty hunters. It was a massacre and she still looked at him in awe. I love that. 💙

It’s was…good? I mean it was a bit rushed at the end and it’s kinda annoying how there’s barely any engagement or true relationship built with the other characters.. like there was potential for a true and deeper relationship with Aimee and Adrienne. Also Yk I hate books with the kidnapping trope. Bffr it was so unnecessary. And then when she said “well, he’s my mate so does it really count as kidnapping?” Yes girl. Yes it does. And immediately after she said “it just means he want me around!” Like be SOOOO FR RN. It wasn’t painfully painful that I couldn’t finish it, but it may as well have been! The ending was trash too, no explanation of the “heirachy” or the blood land thing that senya mentor why he took over other packs or what it means by her being a true visarían pack member and why it deep anyways? It ends with riot saying he has to leave for a while so that she’s safe? After he took down the pack for her? He shouldn’t have done it then! And they could live together. None of this makes any sense to me tbh the whole book seems like a disorganised mess with a crazy male lead with anger issues. The main attraction to the guy is that he’s shy. He doesn’t like to admit his feelings . But that’s all. This ain’t for me but atl I finished it ig ❤️

To be honest I’m very confused why this was in my favourites. I re-read it and I think it’s not that good as the first time I read it. The writing is good but I was kind of confused by some characters and their actions.

I CANNOT!!! JUST NO. Why did it have to end this way. I love this so much but my heart is absolutely breaking. Holy fuck! I didn’t expect any of that. When I’m less freaked out about it I’ll write a better review. 😂
