As long as you've got the fare, New York cabs go anywhere! Anywhere you need to be- Directly from point A to B.

I picked this up for the kids when I went to NYC and they love it. The style is sing-song rhyming so it's fun to read. "Hey, taxi, Ho, taxi, Yo, tax, Whoa! taxi" are among their favorite lines. Now they point out taxis everywhere we go and little Matt has made me promise that I'll take him to the Empire State Building (I think he thinks that taxis drive up the side like they do in the book).
Third graders loved this as a read aloud, and requested that they hear My Subway Ride also. This book flows nicely and the kids loved spotting the repetitions used!
