I've said it before, and I will say it again until the end of time: Pam Godwin is one of my very few go-to, auto-buy authors these days and I will basically read anything she publishes. She is a dark romance goddess and deserves to be worshiped. And I'm not just saying that because this was an ARC. I truly love and adore this series and Pam Godwin's story telling.
As always, Godwin nailed the attraction and chemistry between the two main leads...AND we got an awesome older woman/younger man age gap in this one too, kids. Delicious.
So why not five stars?
Whelp, while I really enjoyed this, my only issue here is the same issue I had with the last one in the series...the characters' relationship moved really fast. They basically both went from being extremely damaged and emotionally unavailable to completely in love in nine days flat. Which just felt rushed and lost some of its power for me.
And for anyone who doesn't agree or thinks that's harsh, that's fine; but I say this knowing what Goddess Godwin is capable of... Having read the majority of her books, I know the gloriousness she in capable of (look no further than Van's book or her beautiful Tangled Lies series, which much just be my favorite thing she's ever written). In short, I know she can nail the long love game and knock it out of the park. And I'm greedy. And I want it.
Also, speaking of Tangled Lies...a certain person's book is up next and I cannot WAIT for it, I am THAT excited. Truly, I haven't been this excited about a release in a long time. That said, if you haven't read the Tangled Lies series yet, do yourself a favor and go handle that. Because it's amazing.
Otherwise, a solid addition to the series and I obviously can't wait for the next one.

Dominate is the eighth book in Pam Godwin's Deliver series and I can't believe it's almost over. I've been reading these books since 2014 and it is by far my favorite dark romance series. I know I say this all the time, but I truly mean it... no one does dark romance as good as Pam Godwin. No one. Every book in this series is fantastic and this was no exception.
Tomas lost someone important to him a decade ago, and he's never truly let go. He's been writing emails to this dead girl all this time. But he never imagined someone was reading them. When Rylee Sutton was at the lowest point of her life, she came across an email account and password. Reading Tomas's first email literally saved her life. It's been ten years and she feels like she knows him but she's never made contact. Until now. Now she's read something that made her finally speak up. And she's going to meet him for the first time...
Rylee and Tomas's meeting doesn't go as smoothly as Rylee hopes. In fact, it's pretty awful. Tomas is cruel to her at first, but until he knows he can trust her, he has to be. He and his group of freedom fighters have a lot on the line. It took a lot for Rylee to be proven trustworthy, but once she was, Tomas fell fast and hard.
I thought Rylee was a wonderful heroine. She was strong, brave, and took no crap. Tomas was terrible to her but with time, he made it up to her. They were a great match in all ways.
Though I'm sad this series only has one book left, I'm tickled pink that it's Coles. He might be my favorite hero Pam Godwin has ever written and no one deserves a happily ever after as much as he does. I'm also excited to see how this gang ties everything up. I love these characters and I love this series so much. If you're looking for a well written, super steamy, dark, and emotional book/series, I can't recommend these books enough!

Dominate is book eight in the Deliver Series. Although each book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the series from the beginning in order to truly enjoy each character and the dynamics between the entire team. Tomas Dine has made a terrible mistake. After experiencing heartbreak and loss, he copes by writing his dead girlfriend emails. He has no idea that his emails are being read by another woman. Rylee Sutton discovered Tomas's emails at a time that she really needed a distraction from the trauma of her own life. Through years of reading his private thoughts and feelings, she is drawn to him and ultimately decides she wants to meet him. However, Tomas isn't quite as enthralled with the idea that a stranger knows everything about him and his team! When he gets his hands on Rylee, he is ready to teach her a lesson and punish her. But in the quest for revenge, passion ignites and the two cannot get enough of each other.
"Either way, she'd let herself get hurt."Told in dual POV, Dominate offers a non-stop action-packed romance full of complex characters who thrive in the dark. The stakes are high for Tomas and Rylee as dangerous people are trying to take them down. As always, Pam Godwin offers a dark and delicious read full of raw passion and suspense. I liked the dynamics between Rylee and Tomas but was definitely surprised when their relationship made a huge shift! I would have like to have experienced that transformation a little more intimately between them. Still, I enjoyed this installment and would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys dark romance!
"He was violence and sex and salvation."Overall, Dominate is another solid read by Pam Godwin. She never fails to amaze me with the ensemble of characters she has created and the way in which they interact with each other. I am certainly excited for the next book in the series. No doubt, Cole's book will leave us all breathless and wanting more!!!

This series has quickly become an obsession for me. I live for Pam's dark and gritty words. Tommy's book has been a much anticipated one for me. Partly because it's an age gap with an older woman, and partly because I'm not THIS much closer to Cole's story.
Interestingly enough, I found this book to be the least dark out of the entire series. And considering how dark the rest of this series is, don't think this one is sunshine and butterflies. It had just the right amount of intensity to it, but without the pit in the stomach feeling I normally get.
Before Tommy was a ruthless vigilante, he was a 17 year old boy that lost his beloved girlfriend and broke in a way only a teenage boy could break. The only thing that kept him going through it all were the secret emails that he kept sending to his long dead girlfriend. The last thing he expected was for those emails to end up in the possession of another woman, but fate had other plans. Rylee was older and reeling on the betrayal of her husband. About to take her life, the email of a then 17 year old Tommy made her realize that maybe it's not all bad. Years later, those emails have kept her going but she's never been foolish enough to give her heart away again. She's ready to make contact, determined to help Tommy in his mission. And while she expects his anger and resistance, nothing could prepare her for his response.
The one thing that I love about Pam's writing, is that all of her alpha males have this electric sort of intensity to them. They practically crackle on the pages and Tommy was no exception.
Pam is also the queen of redeeming the irredeemable. And what Tommy does in this story could surely be just that. Completely irredeemable. He puts Rylee through hell in his search of answers. But through it all, there's a sexual tension that sizzles between them. And the fourteen year age gap just adds a little spice to the mix. Because while Tommy may be the younger man, he more than makes up for it in dominance and intensity.
I struggled with my rating on this one in all honesty. Like all of Pam's books, this was a book I devoured in one sitting. It kept me turning the pages well into 3 am and I couldn't stop. The one quibble that I did have was the relationship development. It went from one extreme to the other in what seemed to be the blink of an eye. Truth be told, I struggled with this a bit. I couldn't fully buy Tommy's turnaround. He went from being her captor to being in love and there just didn't seem enough progression in between to land him there. Rylee also forgave him way too quick for everything that happened.
But ultimately, even with my quibble, I could barely find enough in me to care. Because I was simply that invested in this story and all of the revelations that happened. There's so many secrets that get revealed, and if you're a die hard Cole fan like me, you'll be foaming at the mouth by the end. And the preview into his book? I. AM. DYING.

I have always loved Pam Godwin’s writing! Any book she puts out, I one click immediately! This series has been absolutely amazing, and if you enjoy really dark themes... then definitely pick this up! In saying all that though, this particular started off intriguing me like all of the others... but then towards the end, I became disappointed. There were theories that were coming up in my head about who was responsible for certain things, and then by the end it became a bit irrelevant to the main characters. It was a great set up for Cole’s book( which I am dying to read!!) but as far as the main couple went, I feel like they were cheated of an epic ended to their story.
I won’t go into detail, because I don’t ever risk giving anything away.. especially in a book like this!! I just felt let down by the conclusion of everything that went down. Even with that disappointment, I did give it a four stars because believe me, this author can write! I did enjoy the first part of the journey, it just became a bumpy ride later on!
Thank you to my sweet Buddy Reader Steph! I have loved reading this series with you, and I can’t believe we are coming to the end of it in March!🙈 It makes me sad! I can’t wait to read Cole’s book with you though!❤️❤️❤️

In this second to last installment of the series, the storyline is divided between Tomas and Cole Hartman. With Tomas and Rylee, they have an intense reaction to each other and she believes there is a deeper side to Tomas, but he is distrustful of her motives. As for Cole, he has proven to be an integral part of the team but has remained a mystery.
Initially, I was intrigued to read more about the dynamic between Tomas and Rylee, as her character is different than other heroines in the series, but I did not connect with either of them and felt their relationship progressed on hyperdrive. There was also a particular scene that seemed completely out of place and didn’t advance the character development for Rylee or Tomas.
The saving grace for me was Cole and how the overarching plot is percolating. While I have thoroughly enjoyed this highly memorable series, and I’m excited to see how it all ends, I’m also so nervous to see what happens with Cole.
Dominate is about redemption and learning from past mistakes. This book would appeal to those seeking a dark romance set in a world without boundaries.

In her eighth opus of the Deliver series, Mrs Godwin embarks her readers on a breathtaking and scorching hot road.
Dominate deals with Tomas' story. In the previous installment, we knew he was going to meet Rylee, whose life he (unknowingly) saved ten years ago.
At first, I was taken aback by Tomas' personality. He wasn't the man I recognized in the other books. Clearly, Rylee didn't either! Wow, who was this ruthless and cold-hearted man? Fortunately, the woman he had to deal with wasn't one to back off!
Although I couldn't feel much the age-gap, the tension between them could have melted my kindle. The author mastered the hate (and hate-fuck scenes). Tomas and Rylee cleaely found their match!
Their chaotic evolution from captor-captive / enemies to lovers flowed, the author took her time exploring their darker sides.
The intrigued supporting the storyline totally enthralled me and kept me wondering. I loved hearing from the other members of the team, it's always a great pleasure to feel the family vibe emanating from their banter. After all these years, they have overcome a lot of their issues but the wounds were deep!
Dominate is a story I loved to get lost into. Cole is next and last, I hope the series will come full circle and all the questions left in suspens will find their answers with his book!

Dominate was fantastic and truly deliciously dark because Pam Godwin is simply the Queen when it comes to the dark, filthy and delicious books. I love her writing and I love this series. I’m obsessed and invested. Dominate is Book 8 in this series, and while each book has a couple and an HEA, this should be read as a series to get the full experience. This was Tomas story. Tomas is one of the ex captives and a Freedom Fighter, also most recently has a big part in Luke’s book. I won’t rehash the blurb or the plot cause there’s no point, you should experience them by yourself. They are of course dark and hot AF. This was definitely a roller coaster ride. Both Tomas and Rylee had loads of baggage and their relationship definitely started in the wrong foot. My only problem is that the relationship felt a little rushed and insta love. However, this was still fantastic. We also get some backstory to help us prepare for my baby Cole’s book. I’ve waited for his story forever, can’t believe it’s almost here! This entire series is a must read!

This is Tommy 's story. Rylee takes the chance to meet with the man she had connected with for the last ten years through emails. But he has no idea who she is or that she has been spying on his private emails, all sent to his dead girlfriend.
This book had it all. Heat, adventure, danger and twists and turns!
I loved the twisted dynamic between our couple. What striked me as odd was the complete turnabout Tommy had about halfway through the book. He went from Hating Rylee to loving her and I missed the transition that would have made all the difference for me. And that is why I gave Dominate 4 stars.
Now I am so very excited about Cole's story!! Bring it on!

This series sure knows how to give me a gut punch, like nothing else. Its so powerful. Some times it scares me.
So this was still a good book. I mean, Pam knows how to tell a story. But strangely... this was the hardest one to get behind the hero....
That sounds bonkers, given some of our heroes were Cartel King Pins and Capos and sex traffickers but.... Tomas went too far for me in his torture. For being someone who has been tortured before... it was too much.
He didn't grovel enough for what he did and it left me annoyed for the last little bit.
I did like that this was an Older woman romance. I liked the rough crazy tension, as usual.... and I cannot wait for Cole's book and the finale of this amazing series.

Pam does it again, this series is starting to obviously reach a culmination and I think my favorite part about this book was the involvement of all the past main characters, it really made the plot line extra exciting for me and also excited for the last book of the series (?? Omg i can’t believe it’s almost over). This was a older woman romance and it was very much captor captive. Thomas is extremely frustrating in this book because he does not see past his anger at the innocence of rylee, but i loved their angst and passion. This story was one of the most interesting for sure, but again SO extremely dark and hard to read at times. But that’s what this series does! Pam makes us feel hopeless just to see how these characters will overcome insane hardship

Plot Summary :
Tomas has been broken since he lost his one true love when he was 17. His life took a lot of turns and now as a therapy he writes to his lost love. Until everything he said to her , every detail of his life is read by someone. A someone who invaded his privacy and had no right to do that. A woman who is now going to pay for that mistake since it is now only his privacy in danger but his friends too.
Rylee’s life took a huge turn when her husband cheated on her. Her broken faith and lost hope almost made her take her own life. That until she was saved by a message from an anonymous man. A man who has no idea that she is reading his private messages. A man who has now found her. He has found her and there is no way she is getting out of this. She is going to pay for invading his privacy , if only he doesn’t make her fall in love with him first.
Overall Opinion :
OMG.. Seriously , this series is one of the darkest series I have ever read. It has every trigger known to mankind (including Rape , starvation , Violence) and still I can’t stp reading!! There is something so addictive about Pam’s books , that I always know she is going to rip out my heart through her books but damn if I don’t find myself first on the line to let that happen every time!
This story was also as dark as the other books of this series , however this was the only book that did not have an actual Non-Con Scene between the main protagonists. The twists were amazing and I could feel the emotions of the characters through the book ,seeping into my veins and promising to never let me go! Cole , who is a side character in the other book of this series played a major role in this one and I can’t wait for his book! I already know it is going to be a blast and I hope Pam Gives us that book soon!
A definite recommendation to all the Dark romance lovers out there! Like I said before , this book has triggers mentioned in the starting of the review so please keep that in mind. Even though this was a standalone , all the plots of the books in this series are connected so It will be better if you read them all in order instead of missing through some of the books for better understanding and an amazing experience!

Pam has me hooked on this series and I can’t wait until she gives me the last fix of this series!

Meeting Tomas is a brave move for Rylee, knowing the kind of person he is and the company he keeps. But this doesn't deter her to finally meet the man who saves her life.

Tomas felt agitated when he received a reply from the account he created for her dead girlfriend wherein he shared everything about the freedom fighter's activities. He has all the intention to do bad things to this person who invaded his privacy.

I expect to enjoy reading this one and this book did not disappoint. Tomas and Rylee's story is captivating. A page-turner from the beginning; and it never lets up. There are tension-filled chapters that will keep you at the edge of your seat. The thing I like about this book is the amazing ability of the author to keep her characters so vivid in your mind and to keep you well absorbed in them. You can feel the emotions of every character in every scene. I really like Rylee and her never-give-up attitude. A perfect match to Tomas, indeed! Several characters from the previous novels are back to provide continuity, wise advice, and some comic relief. Overall, this book is a great read. I strongly recommend this book and if you've not had the opportunity to read the earlier books I recommend those as well. Loved it!

The flow and pace is fantastic.
The mystery and suspense is pretty much spot on.
The darkness and the erotic adult sex scenes and beyond steamy.
So, why rate it the lowest of all the books in this series?
Well, a couple of reasons.

I am so obsessed with Pam Godwin and her Deliver series. This series and these amazing books are filled to the brim with triggers galore and are so so addicting. Tomas and Rylee were addicting! I could not wait for his book and boy did this author deliver (pun intended!!!) The chemistry was fiery and explosive. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I read this! I am 1000% sure you will be HOOKED from the very first page!!
Before you begin this story you need to prepare yourself with one fact: Godwin pulls ZERO punches with this story. If you are ready to be shocked and borderline uncomfortable but completely spellbound by the most erotically charged and epically written storytelling ever, then Dominate will completely rock your world!! Rylee and Tomas' banter was sexy and delicious. Their connection was raw and powerful and the love (hate?) scenes were NEXT LEVEL combustible!! Before you begin this story you need to prepare yourself with one fact: Godwin pulls ZERO punches with this story. If you are ready to be shocked and borderline uncomfortable but completely spellbound by the most erotically charged and epically written storytelling ever, then Dominate will completely rock your world!! Rylee and Tomas' banter was sexy and delicious. Their connection was raw and powerful and the love (hate?) scenes were NEXT LEVEL combustible!! As we approach the end of this deliciously dark series the tension builds into a crescendo I know will leave us delirious with pleasure.
Ms Godwin hands down outdid herself with these out of this world magnificent Freedom Fighters, she created a depraved, sick world, decided to play with our hearts pulling our strings making us feel every possible emotion out there. She did the impossible by making us root for the most evil and unredeemable characters.
The team reunited to fight new, mysterious enemies, a new love is born, old grudges are addressed, the family grows, it’s the dawn of a new beginning and as it happens with any new start sacrifices needs to be made, loyalties need to be proved, just how strong our heroes are? How much can they take, how much do they need to endure, what other trials do they need to face... ? I can’t wait to find out.
Rylee is an alluring enchantress she draws men to her like a magnet, Tomas struts in confident he’s immune to her charms, he may need to reconsider his cockiness
Tomas endowed (to keep this as clean as possible, but that is not the word I have in mind if you get my drift) with a body to die for oozes sex-appeal dripping with sin, Rylee is equipped with all good intentions to help him, she doesn’t know how full her hands will be... and the rest of her too... ohhhhh I really need to get my mind out the gutter 😛 in my defence... read the book and then tell me I’m wrong, I dare you 😉
Tomas Dine—complicated man and lone wolf—would walk through hell to resolve his dilemmas on his own.
The tension between Tomas and Rylee is palpable, their attraction slow burning, however I felt the shift from hate to love was too fast, it all happened in the blink of an eye, I would have expected to slowly build and then turn into something big. It starts with momentum but lacks depth, development all of which this author is capable of, I know and have proof she can give it in spades.
I liked how the group comes together and they help each other, they’re a family born out of pain, it proves that blood isn’t the only valid link to a true family, the Freedom Fighters are a strong tribe and I’m going to miss them terribly.
Next up is Cole’s story I’m impatient to finally join him in his new quest. If you haven’t met him yet, you can do so in the Tanged Lies trilogy, start for free with book one “one is a promise” what better way to fill the time while waiting for the next instalment than indulging into this amazing book feast.
You’re a one and done kind of guy. But a word of warning, Cole. Fate might not be done with you

STORY:
DOMINATE may be the best book in the DELIVER series so far! I was instantly consumed by the story, constantly trying to figure out who was who and what was happening and on the edge of my seat from literally the first few pages!!!
Rylee bought a coat from a thrift store, and inside was the email address Tomas has been writing to for 10 years. As we know from UNSHACKLE, the two are about to meet ... nothing about their meeting is predictable or dull!!!! What Tomas puts her through is indescribably dark, depraved and sexy as he||!!! Because I read so much romance, I often skim through sex scenes, but there was no urge to skim whatsoever!!!! The first sex scene may actually be the most innovative, intense sex scene I’ve ever read!!! And I loved that we get to finally get a glimpse in to who Cole is. I cannot wait for his story!!
My only complaint about the storyline is that we weren’t able to re-read the one email Rylee sent to Tomas that had him rushing from the La Rocha cartel’s headquarters to meet her at the end of book 7. A reminder of exactly what she’d written would have been helpful.

Like I said, this story is action packed and is a perfect representation of how eloquent Pam Godwin is. However, it could benefit from a professionally proofreading. There were typos such as BURNT when it should’ve been BURNED, ONTO and INTO when it should’ve been ON TO or IN TO, and MIGHT when it should’ve been MAY. Occasionally, commas were not placed between adjectives (for example, “tiny turned-up nose.”), and rules for commas regarding the word OH weren’t always followed (for example, “Oh God” should have been, “Oh, God”). There were a few words that were capitalized that shouldn’t have been such as DRACONIAN. Words were capitalized and the wrong punctuation used in some of the dialogue. For example, [“Yeah.” She huffed.] should have been, [“Yeah, “she huffed.”]. According to the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS), rules regarding the following were not followed:
-ellipses did not have spaces on both ends.
-the right side of the pages were justified.
-apostrophes weren’t used correctly with words ending with the letter S (Tomas’ should’ve been Tomas’s).
***Fortunately, all of these are things most readers won’t even notice, are super easy to fix (I’d love to proofread for you, Pam) and didn’t in any way diminish how much I enjoyed this amazing story!!!

What a book!! This series has been brilliant from the start and its just been getting best with each book. This book is Tomas/Tommy and Rylee's book. After the way Unshackle ended i was dying to know how things were goin to work out with Tommy. After he found out about the emails he had written for his dead ex girlfriend were actually being read things weren't looking good for the person that had read them.
Rylee's not had it easy over over the last few years. Her life changed one night and its never been the same since. But she found an email address that was goin to change her life and save it without that person even know. She thought everything was goin to go great once she met this mystery man who she knew more about than she should.
Tommy is a great character and God he's so sexy. He can be moody, crazy and can jump to conclusions. But there is a softer side that we do get to see its not the normal softer side but if you have read this series you know its hard for any of these men to be soft. But woman seem to have this strange effect on these hard men and Rylee did these to Tommy.
I would highly recommend this book everything about it was great. The story was so good and flowed all the way through. These books are dark and have been all the way through. Some people might not like theses types of books but honest if you can push yourself do. The authors writing is amazing she keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through the book. I just couldn't stop once I started it. Im dying for the next book after the way this book ended. Cole's book is goin to be brilliant ill be so gutted when this series is over.

Rylee Sutton went through the worse heartbreak of her life, it was so bad she almost gave up on herself but she accidentally comes across an email that changes the course of her life for good. Tomas Dine did not trusted Rylee and due to his terrible mistake with emails he knew he shouldn’t have written he now is paying for his choices.
”In Tommy’s world, brutality and death were as common as nightfall.”
This book started so promising, I absolutely felt Rylee’s pain and the way she found Tomas life as an escape from hers made it so much exciting but sadly that’s how far my feeling for the couple went . When Tomas meets Rylee he didn’t see it the way she did and immediately went on defense mode. His actions made me angry and the way he tried to fixed things were not the best way which in turned made him look worse in my eyes.
“The most concerning thing about Cole was his motivation. He wasn’t like the rest of them...That was the problem. None of them knew Cole Hartman. Yet here he was, mired in their life’s, and fighting alongside them.”
Cole is a well known and loved character from the series. He made every scene that he was in powerful and intense. I feel so much for him and how he comes across in this books speaks so well of his character. Overall; I liked this book but I can honestly say I was not a fan of Tomas, some things he did really bothered me, I felt he tried to play it off his mistake instead of fixing it. Cole being in the picture and the suspense building up to his book made this book well worth it for me.
Dark lover readers who are following the series will find this book appealing as for this is not a standalone story and it must be read in order.

The eighth installment of the Deliver series gives us the elusive Tomas’s story. I’ve been curious about Tomas for a while just because he seems to be the quietest of the group, and then there was mention about how he hasn’t had sex in like 10 years… and let’s not forget the other mention about his 10 inch…(because I sure haven’t!) These are all the makings for my favorite kind of reclusive, tortured hero.
However, in truth while there are parts of this installment that I really enjoyed, it was probably my least favorite of the series so far. I just thought some parts of the plot were a little far-fetched and over the top. And to be honest, at least in the first half of the book, I thought Tomas was just plain mean. I don’t think what Riley did warranted being thrown out in a desert, starved, and deprived of just basic human respect.
Also, while Tomas’s character was a massive improvement in the second half, there wasn’t much of a transition from enemies to lovers to just lovers. It was literally from one chapter to the next that he went from absolutely despising Riley to being all in with her. He did come to some realizations during some of the page time that was in Riley’s POV. I just think that maybe if the realizations he came to would have happened while we were on the page with him, the reader would’ve been able to “go there” with Tomas more. As it was it just seems like whiplash.
I did love some parts of the second half though. And, as always, this was an extremely steamy story with lots of scenes that burned up my Kindle! These two take hate fucking to a whole other level!!!
The end spends a lot of time setting up for Cole’s story and I cannot wait to jump into that one next, though I don’t want this series to end!!!

Well what can I say ... Pam did it again with another installment of the Deliver series. This one was hot and messed up just like all the other ones. I loved Rylee, she picked up and kept going when others would have stopped. Thomas ... Well he won me from the opening pages even though he is crazy lol! I love all of Pam's crazy hero's and yes they are all hero's . Can't wait for Coles story. If you haven't read this series you're missing out !! So good !!

Tommy's story, and it was absolutely perfect. Tommy has been writing emails to his love that died suddenly for 10 years, assuming they were not being read by anyone. But while taking down the La Rocha cartel someone replied to his last email. Now he is on the hunt for the person who read his private thoughts.
Rylee is a woman who has her own demons and issues but she has read every personal email that Tommy wrote and has reached out to him.
This story encompasses all the facets of a well written and entertaining story. There is loneliness and hope, danger and espionage, lies and deceit, but most importantly there is trust and love.
I can't wait for Cole's story!
