Three years ago my thrill seeking woman walked out of my life and didn’t even bother to give me a glance goodbye.
The Kings of Vengeance became my family at a time when I had nothing but a bottle of whiskey and fading memories of a woman I thought I would spend the rest of my life with.
Deedra was always looking for the next lead, the next exciting story to catapult her into news anchor stardom. No matter the sacrifice.
She never thought her ambitious ways would land her smack dab in the middle of the headlines.
Now the Kings of Vengeance and I have to save her before her thrill seeking ways land her six feet under.
Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and to the place they now call home. Winter spends her days writing happily ever afters, and her nights being a karate mom hauling her son to practices and tournaments. She also has an addiction to anything MC related, puppies, and baking.
Thrill Seeker was the fifth book in the Kings of Vengeance MC by Winter Travers.
The storyline began exactly where book four, Midnight Wreckage, left off. Travers had surprised us with Point having an estranged wife, Deedra.
Point was one of the single patched member’s of the MC. Or so we thought. Deedra was a local reporter that was doing the follow up story on Queenie and Gunner (book four) when they crossed paths and the bomb was dropped.
Travers took us through Point and Deedra’s history and how they came to the present. I wasn’t a big fan of Deedra and I didn’t really understand her issues. No spoilers so no elaboration, but I just didn’t click. However, I was a fan of Point and as the story wrapped up, their reunion grew on me.
True to the series, the suspenseful storyline of the MC continued as a common theme and bridge for the series. It appears Zephyr is up next and Brick is coming home so we’ll hopefully get his story soon as well.
have to say this was a fun and enjoyable read overall. If being honest this story was pretty tame and missing that hot and spicy vibe and missing that wow factor this author is known for but, the old ladies made this book rock. I laughed so hard with antics and their sassy mouths and when they were in their drunken stooped even funnier.
We loved the characters for the most part, and we absolutely loved Point but, Deedra we had to warm up to. For us, something lacked and I wasn't feeling their chemistry or spark and I felt Point forgave Deedra way too earlier for their past but, in saying that they fit comfortably with one another, and they obviously loved one another no matter their past they still clearly loved one another so who am I to judge?
The club is clearly still having problems and more drama has shown up at their doorstep once again. Regardless of the few things that did not click for me, I still felt this was a fun read and it was nice seeing the men interact with their women and how they are all still alpha dominant & sexy and possessive as ever, and we loved seeing their families growing. We got to meet Brick seemed like a pretty cool guy but time will tell but, one thing we do know for sure there is another hottie in the clubhouse!
Point thought that his marriage was strong and he loved his wife just as much as she loved him. But he was wrong. His wife didn’t love him anymore and she walked away from him and their marriage.
This was a hard thing to overcome for him, but once he got himself sorted he joined the Kings of Vengeance MC and moved on with his life, thinking he would never see the love of his life again ☹ But that’s not exactly what happened. Now Point is out on a mission. To get his Women back where she belongs.
This story is not as cut dry as you would think. There are things going on in both Point and Deedra’s life that only they know about. And maybe they needed to be apart to sort out themselves before they could be together again. I have to say that when I started reading this story I didn’t like Deedra. She came across as selfish and bitchy and not worth Point’s time. But the more you read the more you find out and the more you see why she is the way she is. Another sweet, alpha hotness story added to this series 😊 ♥
I'm such a fan of Winter Travers and ALL of her books, but Thrill Seeker just missed the mark of perfect. It seems like more & more I'm finding the heroines irritating which is really a big deal because I'm all about that #GirlPower, but Deedra wasn't a girl I ever really warmed up to. Deedra is Point's estranged wife as she up & left him without one good reason. We knew from the previous book that this marriage bomb was dropped. I'm 100% on Point's side in this because Deedra is immature & her reasons for leaving were ridiculous. I despise when people decide to react to what they think will happen to make decisions so I don't like it in my books. Anyway, Thrill Seeker is still a Winter Travers' book so I wasn't able to put it down, and the secondaries were entertaining plus some new suspense/drama is coming in hot. Remember this is only my opinion but I will state for the record that you'll never go wrong with this author. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is the 5th book in this phenomenal series and is Point and Deedra’s story. These two were married and deeply in love with each other, until Deedra walked out to follow her dreams. Point eventually gets himself together joined the MC and moved on with his life. Deedra is now an investigative reporter, and to be honest I struggled to connect to her at first as she comes across as selfish, however, as this story develops we get to know the reason she is that way. Point is determined to get his wife back, but will she be willing to give them another chance? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, and is entertaining, humorous, and with drama, danger, and witty banter, which all leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.
I love this series and this book is no exception. There is always plenty of laughs to go along with the club drama. Deedra walked out in Point 3 years ago to pursue her career. She doesn’t expect to run into him while interviewing Queenie about her son’s kidnapping. She never stopped loving him but she isn’t sure if she fits with his life now. This book also deals with the ongoing storyline and some new twists!!
Do you really leave your husband because you are afraid that your dreams will be lost? That’s exactly what Deedra did. Now she is an investigative reporter and Point is part of the Kings of Vengeance MC. Even though Dee thought that she needed to rid herself of Point she never did follow through with the divorce papers…or stop loving him. Now is their second chance and Point is not letting her go.
I loved this story especially when the author can bring these people to life. The laugh out loud moments are great and I would so love to be a part of the women’s book club!! The strong alpha bikers sure love their women. The story and steam behind Dee and Point was great and the twists and turns within the book were awesome. I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author!
Every time I get to read one of this authors book I never know what to expect , the old ladies and their book club is awesome, Dee is Point's wife and no one knew until she came to do an interview and it all came out these two belong together but she did not see it that way when she left years later the pull and chemistry are still there and now she is the one who needs them all
Thrill Seeker had us on the back of a bike with the Kings of Vengeance MC where surprises are aplenty and drama is always just around the corner. Point and Deedra have a past, one nobody knows about but them . As the shock wears off and cards are laid on the table these two will discover that seeking the thrill only works when they are together. A story that has you laughing hysterically, feeling the angst and the tension and feeling the wind on your face as you sit back and enjoy the ride. A few new faces come along for the journey and a familiar one shows up keeping things even more interesting. Bring on the next book because I am ready of a little more thrill seeking.

Thrill Seeker is book five to the Kings of Vengance MC series. This is a second chance romance that focuses on Point and Deedra. Their story was original, short, sweet and to the "point." Ha ha 😉
Point is loyal, caring, direct, stoic, and empathetic. After being burned in the past he has been living his life on auto pilot. He was a lost, grieving soul until he became apart of the Kings of Vengeance. They gave him a family when he needed it the most. But Point is a fatalist, so when he runs into Deedra he knows that the stars have aligned again and he won't let her slip through his fingers for a second time.
Deedra comes off as cold and indifferent, but she's just career driven. All of the choices she has made thus far have revolved around her career, including separating herself from all relationships. She struggles with how to balance her life. She thought she was happy living her dream, but when she runs into Point old feelings come creeping back in. Tragedy strikes making her realize that she hasn't been living at all and has been missing the most important person to have been in her life.
Although I enjoyed this book I felt some things were lacking. For one Point forgave Deedra way to easily. After all the hurt and pain she caused him they had way more to hash out about her lame reasoning regarding her cowardly actions. Secondly, it was mentioned numerous times that Point had a drinking problem, but it was never discussed at all. I felt like it was a big enough deal that it should have been talked about more in depth.
If you're new to the series I advise starting at book 1 so you understand everything that is happening and who the other characters are. These stories pick up where the previous one ended and the plots continue to thicken throughout the series. I'm looking forward to the next book and what's in store for Zephyr.
She left him three years ago and now she’s kneeling on the floor in front of him. They had a whirlwind romance and then got married. She wasn’t sure she could be what Point needed or wanted and still have her career too, so she left him and found her life somewhere else, now he’s in the same town and they ran into each other again. Deedra has regretted her snap decision for three years but she can’t tell Point that, nor can she let him back in. She also can’t fight the fact that she never stopped loving him.
Point pulled himself up and got sober after Deedra left him, now he’s part of a brotherhood and has a family, but the trouble is that he can’t get over Deedra. His MC brothers knew nothing of his past, nor do they know of Deedra. Now that she’s back in his sights he wants answers to why she really left him three years ago and won’t give up until he has them. Maybe they still have a fighting chance for their HEA.
Another great story in the Kings of Vengeance MC series. These books get better as the story goes on through the series. This book was no different. The women are funny, crazy, sassy and entertaining to say the least. The men never know what the women will do next and have to be on their toes all the time. The fact that the men of the MC drive Quinn, the President, crazy all the time is comical. During Church, these guys can get distracted easier than a toddler at times. These books are full action, humor, great characters and great story lines. I love reading them and hope they go on for a while. There’s a true feeling of the MC being a family and all of the craziness that goes along with families. They may argue, pick on each other, and get mad, but at the end of the day they will always fight for each other and die for each other. They are loyal, crazy, sexy, and funny. I give this story a 5-star review and look forward to more of the Kings of Vengeance to come.
Craziness! This is the quirkiest MC series I've ever read. The ole ladies aka Book Club are featured just as much as the brothers and they're one crazy bunch. Hard drinking, fun loving, fabulous sisterhood and all about their men. I love this group of gals. And I love that the brothers just love them and mostly go with their craziness. The Kings are still struggling to get their new venture, a strip club, up and running but the brothers are growing stronger as a group. The newness is wearing off and things are coming together. There are a couple of new faces in the clubhouse. One of the Royal Bastards shows up in a bad way and Brick is out of jail. Speaking of new...the news girl is a surprise as Point's wife. Deedra is a ball busting, go getter that fits right on with the Book Club. The mystery of why she left Point all those years ago is a main component of the story. He's still a little heartbroken and in love. Will they make a go of it or finally get that divorce? Dee goes after the hard hitting news stories and one had the bullets flying. Looks like danger has reared it ugly head again and an old foe is back in the mix. This is a quick, easy read with continuing storylines and a group of easy going brothers and their fantastic women. Detective Crew makes an appearance and has a history with Brick. And it looks like Zephyr has a love interest! I look forward to the next installment of this unusual MC series that's a blast to read. Addictive fun! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
Thrill Seeker (Kings of Vengeance MC #5) by Winter Travers was a great 5 star read. I was excited to get the next book in the series.
Deedra is a news reporter who is always digging for bigger stories. What she doesn’t expect is one of the stories she is covering brings her face-to-face with the man she left three years ago, Point. Point was shocked to see Deedra, but he is determined to not let her run away again. As Point and Deedra work on reconnecting we get many other stores intertwined in this book.
The MC has some of their own things to deal with along with a scary twist for Deedra. I loved seeing all the girls, I want to be a member of their book club. All of the other secondary characters were great as well, like one big family. Deedra will grow on you, she has a reputation that she is trying to get away from and Point what a guy, I liked him from the start. The ending was good and we get a glimpse into what is coming next. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewed by MAustin from Alpha Book Club
Thrill Seeker picks up right where book four left off. And let me just say it didn’t disappoint me at all. Now Point oh my handsome man. My cutie, my mister sexy single man why did you lie to me. Why why did you lead me to believe that you didn’t have a wife. Little did we know that Winter Travers was going to hit us right in the feelings and drop a couple bombs on us, one being Deedra, Points Thrill Seeking estranged wife. She wanted the next thrill like he need the stability. She walked away and he joined the brotherhood, but like anything in life it’s not all cut and dry like we would like they both have demons that being together didn’t help but being apart hopefully (and I say this because I want it to be so) have helped them s e that they are stronger together. Come hell or high water with the help of the Kings of Vengeance Point is determined to get Deedra back and out of trouble she has caused herself.
I love this series. Not only does each book start where the next left off but it keeps you toes you don’t know what will happen next and Winter just keeps messing with your emotions. Why woman why? I look forward to the next book.
I absolutely loved the latest story in the Kings of Vengeance series!! Point and Deedra have a past like they are still currently married to one another. Imagine their shock and surprise when they cross paths years later. Deedra is there covering at story and is shocked to see Point there at the clubhouse. Deedra still has feelings for Point but she didn't want to drag him along while she chased her dreams, that it wasn't fair to him. She didn't even give him the chance to make that decision and that is what frustrates him. When they lay everything out and realize that chasing a dream means nothing without having the one you love by your side. I loved their story, I am a huge fan of a great second chance romance and their story definitely delivered that for me. I laughed, cried, and swooned throughout their story. I loved it and I recommend that to all. I can't wait to read more from the talented author, well done!
No one really knew about Point's past, until one day it literally popped up in front of them. Deedra is the news anchor that was seeking thrills and had no clue what she really wanted from life. So she packed up and left the life she was living, not wanting to burden the man she was married to, she did him the "favor" and just left. What she didn't realize is that Point would have followed her anywhere, for him she was his end game and it destroyed him when she left. Now that the opportunity is back, do they try this married life again, or is it time to sign the papers and call it quits for good?
This was just ok for me, I had a bit of a hard time getting into this. I think it was the fact that I really didn't care for Deedra, I don't even know why, I just couldn't vibe with her I guess. I will say that I can always count on Winter Travers to make me laugh, and in that department she didn't disappoint. I give this 4 stars.
I love this MC Series - it’s action packed, romantic and full of laughs - especially the ole ladies and their “Book Club” (aka - a drunken hilarious girls gathering). The author has given us another well written storyline that fits right in. The club never seems to get a break and in Thrill Seekers, we have a thrilling storyline involving the club and their ole ladies of course nose right into the fray.
This is Point’s story. If you’ve kept up with the series, in the last book, a bombshell is dropped at the ending that the new reporter who reported on Baby Gunner’s kidnapping, is Point’s wife, Deedra. We learn she ran from him 3 years ago and never looked back. But instant sparks fly as well as anger about the way she left and Point wants answers. But when troubles follow Deedra and her investigative reporting, can Point keep her safe long enough to get his answers and possibly win her back?
I highly recommend Thrill Seekers and the entire Kings of Vengeance MC series. While they all can be read as standalones, I strongly suggest reading them in order for a much better experience. Grab the up ASAP, you won’t regret one single minute of the ride.
Winter Travers has done it again! She takes two characters that you aren't sure you like and slowly introduces you to who they really are. On the surface, Point has, in previous books, come across as closed off, grumpy. Then he sees his long-gone wife interviewing a MC brother's woman and then he is now grumpy and growly. Deedra is a bit cold, as is pointed out by her boss, coworker, and viewers of her broadcasts. Inside though, she is focused on her goals and closed off. That is what led to her leaving Point. She didn't know how to talk to him and instead took the easy way out. But she never could sever the one tie she still had to him. Now that she is back, Point is determined to fix what they broke. Loved these two charcters, loved their story! This series is so freaking good, cannot wait for the next one!

I usually don't like second chance romance books--I figure if either or both screwed up enough they separated, it wasn't meant to be. HOWEVER, Thrill Seeker changed my mind about second chance romance. I LOVED Dee and Point's story. Married young and unsure of herself and how to follow her dreams while keeping her dream man in her life was all kinds of heartache for Dee. A chance assignment reunites her with her husband and Point sees his chance for a do-over. Some hot lovin', a hot toddy book club and a hot mess later, we have one heck of a book! While I'm looking forward to all the member's stories, I am especially intrigued with Core. Can't wait for the next installment!!! The need to add a + sign to the star rating, because sometimes fives stars don't cut it. So I'm rating this as five stars, a case of wine, a bottle of whiskey and 2 xxl pizzas because that's how book club rolls.
Holy Moly!! This was fantastic!! This is the fifth story in the Kings of Vengeance MC. This story takes off right where the fourth story ended. Point is a patched member of Kings of Vengeance. Deedra is an aspiring reporter and Point’s wife who left him. The author gave us Point and Deedra’s history. This story was amazing!! I wasn’t a big fan of Deedra’s but absolutely loved Point. I grew to like her by the end. The story is well written, absolutely fantastic!! I highly recommend!!! I am voluntarily leaving a review from an advanced copy that I was gifted from the author. Thank you so much for letting me read your art. My reviews are solely based on my thoughts and opinions.
Point is a member of the Kings of Vengeance MC. All the guys have secrets from their past, but no one saw this coming. Point is married and it turns out his wife is the local reporter who is doing a story on one of the Kings of Vengeance family members. Of course, Point hasn’t seen Deedra in three years, that is until she show’s up at the club house for an interview.
Imagine her surprise when Deedra runs into the husband she ran out on three year earlier. No, they never got divorced, she still loves him, but deep down she knew she had to leave for his own good.
God how I love Winter Travers!! Her books are amazing and this one is on exception! 5 stars.
Thrill Seeker by W. Travers is a bok five in the Kings of V MC Series. While the main-storyline spans through all of the books, every book is a bout another couple. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order, there are lots of cross-overs. Deedra is an investigative journalist and every time in the middle of the news. And that's when she runs into her estranged husband. Pint is a member of the Kings of V MC and he can't believe his eyes when he runs into his wife. There's still ember under the ashes and you know what they say about exes. A fast paced, action packed, second chances story.
It surprised all his brothers when they found out he had a wife. It surprised him too when she showed up in his world after walking away three years earlier. Another surprise for her when he didn't plan to let her go until they talked. Point had questions, the first was why she left. The second was about the divorce...
Dee was a reporter. She wanted to climb to the hard news and worked every day every way she could to do that. Sometimes she went too far. She tried to get information on a story that might well put her in the MC world and danger. Would She and Point find their way back together? If so, could the danger she was in take their lives before they even had a chance together?
The "Book Club" with the ol' ladies will crack you up. Let's just say most of the refreshments are of the liquid variety. The guys give each other grief even if they are loyal and there for each other and the women. I enjoyed the characters, there is plenty of steam, the danger is there, and a good story. Although I did enjoy it, I didn't find it as compelling as the previous books in the series. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
This book was much better. It picked up right as the last book left off. This is Point's and Deedra's story.
Spoiler: The end of the last book ended with Point seeing his wife who left him three years ago and his clubhouse. They both are pretty new to the area and hadn't run into each other yet but now they seem to. Deedra is an investigative reporter. Got to be careful about what she is sticking her nose into to get a story. Still want more information why one of the RBMC members showed up.

So excited for this series to continue! Point and Deedra were previously married, until she decided that she couldn’t follow her dreams while also being married and left. In the years that followed, Deedra worked on her career and became a successful reporter and Point joined the Kings of Vengeance MC and neither of them expected to see each other again. Until they do when they both end up in the same town again and a story that she’s reporting on involves the MC. I was really confused as to why Deedra felt that she couldn’t juggle her marriage and her career, and I wish that the author elaborated on why, but other than that this book really focused on them rebuilding their relationship than their pasts both together and apart. Aside from that, nothing too crazy happened in this story like the others in this series, and I can’t decide if I was happy about that or not. I can’t wait for the next book in this series – this MC is becoming one of my favorites! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Point and Deedra's story! This is the 5th installment in the Kings of Vengeance MC. Point had his heart broken years ago but he still loved her! Deedra ran from the love of her life thinking it was the right decision. The chemistry between these two is so sweet and crazy hot. You also get to read more from the other MC members! I love revisiting this group! I really want to join their Book Club! This was a great addition to this series!
Thrill Seeker is the fifth title in the Kings of Vengeance series, is a second chance romance featuring Point and Deedra. This title is full of drama, angst, humor and heart. Point has more questions than answers when it comes to the dissolution of their marriage and why she never filed for divorce. Deedra is a successful reporter who is driven and determined to reach her goals. Overall an engaging tittle and I look forward to reading future additions to the series.
Three years ago Deedra walked out on her husband. She is a thrill seeker looking for the next big story. Being an investigative reporter her job tends to be a little dangerous. Point was devastated when the love of his life walked out of his life which led him on a downward spiral to drinking. Once again fate reunited Deedra and Point but he wanted answers. When danger strikes their life is on the line. Those girls and their "Book Club". So funny.
