Give us a chance
I was rooting for Lenox throughout all the books, so to see him finally get his act together was a sigh of relief. I liked Elle for him; she made the story that much better.
Lenox was the baby of the Luke brothers, so he wasn't taken as seriously as he wanted to be. I like that he took it upon himself to start with the realty properties and presented what he was doing to his brothers so they'd take him seriously. I wasn't too happy with how he stepped to Elle at first, yet I like how he put in the work like she told him to. He really grew with her and what a growth it was.
Elle being such a young boss made it hard for her to find a man who didn't see her wealth as a setback to her being a woman whom still needed guidance and security from a man. Although he came at her wrong at first, one thing Lenox was, was confident in being able to please her physically and emotionally. He wanted to be her man; her wealth didn't matter to him and I'm glad she gave him a chance. Even with her being a bit older, I'm glad their age difference wasn't a factor. They liked each other and really did compliment one another. I love that she took the initiative to ensure she could still have kids. That let me know that she not only cared about what she could get from their relationship, yet what she could give too.
I love that we got updates from Ebo and Luv, the growth of their families and blossoming relationships. These brothers were so great to read about.
I hope this isn't the last of this crew.
Great read. Great series. Highly recommend.
