You think you know me, but you’re wrong.

You look at me and see Carrie, the girl with the wild hair and the wild clothes.
Reliable Carrie. Friendly. Quirky. Perhaps a little strange.
What do you really know about me, though?
The details of my past are up for debate.
I’ve been careful to hide my sins, and even more careful to follow the rules.
I do as I’m told. I keep t

honestly, what is up with me being into fictional dudes that are so out of my league it's not even funny ✋🏼

first, it was a high fae lord who's a feminist, and then a psychopath genius who doesn't like touch but has a soft spot for a knife-wielding assassin, and now an english lord, soon-to-be-duke who is materialistic and pretentious af and probably needs therapy with all his daddy issues but plays the piano and loves dirty talk??

my standards guys. my standards. is it too high? uh-

The first two third of this book take place before Riot House, while the last third is basically the same timeline as RH.

It took me a while (almost 35%) until I got into the book. I've only read another Callie Hart book, so I don't know if that is her style or not but in this series, she likes to describe things in details. To some extend I like it, because this series takes place in a private school at the top of a mountain, it has a bit of that dark academia vibe going on that

⤅ I understand that I might get some criticism for choosing to rate a book without having read it.

I've gotten criticism even for reviewing books I actually got part of the way through. It's fine if you disagree with what I'm doing, but I'm just going to pre-empt people now by pointing out that:

a) I have the right to rate a book however I want, including without reading a single page of it; and

b) I have a really valid reason for being infuriated with this book, and that is THERE ARE FEW TH

Every time I think about this book I feel like my hearts about to burst wide open, and my heart feels so full when I think about Carina and Dashiell. I am so so in love with this book and I am still marvelling at the beauty and magnificence that it is. Callie Hart really did put her all into this, and just being back with everybody a

Callie is at her angstiest best in this second installment of Riot House Boys. She lets the snark fly high, breaks the angst barriers and builds up the heartache momentum to the extreme. Clutch your hearts tight readers, Callie is out to shatter them to smithereens!!!

I'm sorry to be that guy, but this book needs a developmental editor.
It's too long and for what? I didn't even get a satisfying conclusion. At the end of the book it says that there is an extended epilogue available on the website (that right now is NOT there) so it's a bummer.
If you can't put the actual ending in the book, then that's a PROBLEM .
There are so many scenes that were simply useless to the plot. And I mean USELESS. The second half of the book they spend it apart and when they f

Another amazing read from Callie Hart! The second book in the Crooked Sinners series, this is a mature YA romance that is raw, dramatic and emotional, with moments of darkness and a bit of a forbidden feel. I am so in love with these strong yet vulnerable characters, and the love story completely captured my heart. This book brought all the feels, and I freaking loved it!

As I said, this is the second book of the series, but it can be read as a standalone. The first book of the series, Ri

Riot Rules, the second installment of the Crooked Sinners series, brings us back to Wolf Hall, before the events that took place in Riot House.

Hold on tight, the merciless trio - Wren, Dash and Pax- is as relentless as ever!

"I, ladies and gentlemen, am a fuck up. I like to scheme . I like to fuck. I like to set things on fire just to watch them burn."

If at first the timeline didn't feel that evident, I fast became gripped by the endearing characters and the rhythm of the storyline.

The Riot House Boys will wreck you and you will ask for more!!! Get swept up in all the drama at Wolf Hall Academy...I know I did. The story continues as we get Dashiell and Carrie's second chance love story.

This YA, suspenseful romance will bring the heartache. Book two overlaps with book one. Chronologically Dashiell and Carrie's story begins before Wren and Elodie's and then the two intersect. It tells the story of life at the academy prior to Elodie arriving, so you get the backstory before

I am obsessed.

Ever since reading Riot House (Wren’s book) the other two guys have intrigued me. I was desperate for their books and callie delivered with Dash’s book.

Dash is cold and gives no fucks. He knows he can have any woman he wants and that all the guys want to be his friend. Being brought up with a dad that has no feelings or care but high expectations has had an impact on Dash and it sho

Carrie has a dark and complicated past and will do anything to keep it hidden. As a child she was given a lifeline and she grabbed it with both hands. That lifeline has given her the opportunity to be a student at Wolf Hall Academy and receive the education she craves. But sometimes, secrets are difficult to keep hidden. Dashiell (Dash) is your young, charming English aristocrat who comes across as someone rather entitled. But not all is as it seems, the outer packag

Few authors can captivate me like Callie Hart. And this series is everything I love about her. Angsty, suspenseful, sexy, intense and emotional- I could not put this down. Callie pulverized my heart with her poetic prose and the electric chemistry. We knew nothing about the story of Dash and Carrie. Their story is an epic, heart wrenching, soulful and beautiful story written in the stars.

I don’t want to say much about this plot- but Dash and Carrie’s story was nothing like I expected. Although,

I jumped at the chance to ARC read this book after loving Riot house. Dash and Carina's story was nothing like I expected, adding more depth to the series. The first about 60% of the book takes place prior to the events in the first book and gives us more layers that make me want to do a reread since Carina's character does such a 180 from what we thought we knew of her in book one. Riot Rules is the second book in the Crooked Saints series. Since the Riot House I was so excited to read Carrie & Dash's story. Both characters were written so well, especially Dash. I have never read about such a hurt and misunderstood Lord. I'm glad that these characters didn't get the usual ending, but their own, unique thing.
Also, Pax and Presley! These two are definitely something. I cannot wait to read their story!

Damn, this novel is lengthy, but I got so invested and entertained that I couldn’t stop reading.

A stunning love story with all the sweet moments you can experience as a new adult/college student, but with all the intriguing aspects of rich families and what lies behind the scenes.

Nobody is who they assume to be and just when I thought it’s all over and I’m going to see that well deserved happily ever after, there’s a twist blowing up right in my face and everything changes. A

There is nothing better than wave goodbye to 2020 and welcome the new year with a good book. Riot Rules fits both criteria 🎊

Ms Hart made us wait a long time to bring us Cariee and Dash’s story but I must say it was worth the waiting. This story sheds light on some events introduced into book one, the plot outline is neat and thick. Told in dual POV with the right amount of angst and mystery.

Riot Rules by Callie Hart KILLED ME. It smashed my heart into a thousand pieces and just barely put it back together and THAT is why it gets only 4 stars from me. I was looking forward to a soul deep love, and while I did get it, the pain was too much.

Dash's character made my heart ache. He was so twisted, so hard on himself. Watching him bloom into the sweet, caring man he became with Carina was beautiful. I adored the 30ish% of the book where their relationship was flawless, effortless, amazin

Riot Rules the 2nd book is this series and focuses on Carina (Carrie FMC) and Dash (Lord Dashiell). Carina has a dark and violent past but with the help of her illusive benefactor and protector - Alderman she enrols at Wolf Hall Academy. With a set of rules she has to stick to throughout her time there. One of which is avoiding boys and keeping her head down for the last 3 years until her world collides with Dash. Opposites attract with them both.
