A relatable topic with clever, lighthearted delivery, and stark truth waiting at its core. It's a touching journey through the highs and lows of relationships, with a witty, engaging, and relatable main character. The story is told from a perspective that receives little attention in daily life, yet is so fundamental that it brings sharp focus to what it means to be human. Never a dull sentence, it kept me guessing all the way through, even after I finished. ...more

Brilliantly written!! Hard to put down!

An inspiring book of love, loss and forgiveness and how these powerful emotions can, consciously and subconsciously, shape our life’s path. I highly recommend!

Well worth the read. I usually stick with Stephen King and other thrillers, but I decided to try this one on advice of my Dad. I thought it was excellent. I read it in a single day. It’s a good meditation on connections that bind people and actions that can tear them apart. I also enjoyed the discourse into how split second choices can make all the difference in the world. Highly recommend.

My Father's Indian is an intelligent, poignant, and beautifully written story about relationships and human connection. The end of every chapter left me eager to start the next. I loved discovering answers throughout, yet I've continued to ruminate on different passages and storylines. The sign of a good book! I highly recommend. ...more

I started casually reading this book while waiting in the forever long elementary school car line. A few days in, I found myself wishing the line was longer because I didn’t want to put the book down. Eric’s ability to paint a picture with words kept me fully engaged and engrossed in Suzy’s odyssey of catharsis.

A lovely read looking at vulnerability, love, loss and forgiveness. Stimulated some nice reflections of my own as the character moves through the plot.

A gripping tale about the power of forgiveness and the resiliency of the human spirit. Though it took me a bit to get into this book, once I did, I couldn't put it down! A terrific novel that will inspire you to examine your own decisions in life and how they brought you to where you are. ...more
