Great finale to this series of novellas full of magic, goddesses, and love facing many challenges.
Rose knew it wouldn't be easy to defeat the wizards, but the one person who brings hope to her, is the one that brings hope to everyone, as his very existence creates a loophole in Persephone's promise for revenge. The final battle will be crushing, and demanding ultimate sacrifices..
Aside from enjoying how everything comes together in this final installment, how every piece of information falls into place and plays a role in the story, I also enjoyed that the author still managed to bring new characters and new places into the story without feeling off, misplaced, rushed, or just added because she wanted to. It created a vivid picture, revealed many secrets, and maybe even set the course for another story in the universe. Asher and Rose's relationship was turbulent, but no one can ignore the strongest feelings in their heart, and meeting his parents definitely helped Asher realize he is not considering every angle, he is not understanding what is going on. It was a very fast read, I just picked it up while still reading a different book, devoured it in one go, and am returning back to finish the previous one.
