Even a Hero is my enemy if they get in the way of my sleep!

I, Keima Masuda, am a Dungeon Master in a fantasy world focusing all my efforts on avoiding as much work as possible. And finally, those efforts are being rewarded. The inn I built by the dungeon is super popular and super busy (Thanks for taking care of all that, Niku!). Heheh. Won't be long before I don't have to work at all...! Sure, a Hero's finally came to visit my dungeon, but... what?! He fell in love with Rokuko?!
"Oh no, Keima! H-H-He proposed to me!"
...Yeah, this guy's a pain in the butt. Let's get him out of here!

This is the third volume of my own dungeon story, where I work as hard as I can to one day not have to work at all!
Hero or not, I'll take down anyone who interferes with my sleep!

I've started on the third book, hoping it would be the one that would get me more interested in this longer running light novel series. Unfortunatly it didn't; the MC is still a lazy ass (as it states in the title of course). I was getting tired of him complaining all the time that he wanted to sleep more and more. I get that this is his reason for 'living' but it makes the book dull in my opinion. I wished there was a bit more progression in the character himself. The story got slightly more interesting in the second half of the book, but the new villian was just plain annoying and doing stuff without any reason. Don't get me wrong, I can understand and sometimes like really evil characters but this one was just dumb. for me this was the last book in this series and I'll drop it for something more interesting.

Pretty good, author comes with good plot and main hero has a nice plan. Good that mc isn't blind. As a good point is that even if everything looks like going for harem , author sticks to one heroine. That's refreshing in this type of LN.

Good story. Good unexpected twist. Not a fan of the epilogue.

Instead of enjoying his sleep, Keima has to do a lot of work. The inn is receiving a lot of guests, forcing them to summon a couple of monster-girls as extra staff. To make matters worse, two heroes decide to visit the dungeon. Each of them coming with a different set of issues.

Much like volume 2, an entertaining light-hearted slice-of-life dungeon building adventure with a smart MC whose plots at times backfire. There is a bit of world development in regards to hero summoning, which is apparently not all that uncommon. The ugly side of slavery is shown, and there is the (tame) harem antics even though the MC himself is not all that interested. So in summary, a good addition to the series.

In this book 3, Keima, main character, Dungeon Master faces two "heroes" (Soldiers of God), like him, summoned to this other world Japanese men, that were summoned to different kingdoms in this other world. One of the "heroes" he in-debts with a 2300 gold coin debt, the other has a less fortunate fate.
The author (translator/publisher) starts to introduce profanity and adult situations which deteriorates the light novel series so far. It is less about growing, managing and strategizing and more about dealing with the other Japanese people who are fickle, corrupt and discretionary.
Hopefully the series will return to comedy, sleeping and sloth. To world-building (Dungeon Building) management and strategic thinking and planning...

This volume we finally get to see some other heroes. Some are good others not so much. But sleep must prevail. The character are showing growth and three more ladies join the ever growing team .
